Super lovely hosts! Very happy to greet us and was always cheerful. Lovely rooms that were well taken care of, with extra blankets for colder nights or people! They also had a free use fire pit with wood and a lighter for us to use, which was so lovely! If we end up back in the area, we will for sure stay here again!

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Nice pool. Really appreciated the little play area for the kids and the bbq’s available for guest to use. There was a nice fire pit area we didn’t get a chance to use but also a great option to have.

Spent 3 nights with family in cottage #2. Accommodation was clean & comfortable, in a great location for everything we wanted to see and do. Really enjoyed the centrally located fire pit on the property.

This was a great find! We stayed in the motel. What a lovely,well kept property. The rooms for the most part are well updated. As with any refurbished motel, the bathrooms are small.Great, friendly service.Super clean! Lovely grounds around. The pool looks very well maintained. BBQ's available for guest use. Would definitely recommend. Great location, too!

A nice convenient place to stay, in good condition and well kept. Only issues I had were over powering scent in our room from cleaner and a lot of sand flies from the water location which is not a direct issue with the motel but should be noted.

This is a wonderful motel with spacious suites including a small kitchen and table. The beds are super comfortable and the place is very clean. The rooms were recently refurbished and it was a great pleasure to stay there. We will definitely be back. Special thanks to Gretel and Larry for looking after us with 5 star service.

The location of The Pines is great. Close to North Rustico(walkable if you're up for it) and a nice view of the bay. The check-in process was easy and the person working was so friendly(she may have been the owner). Rooms were nice and clean, no carpet which is a big plus. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave and real coffee cups were a nice touch. Although the bathroom was small, it was clean and had all I needed except maybe a shelf for toiletries and a shelf in the tub/shower area. Our room had two comfortable beds and two chair but another nightstand or small bedside table would've made it a bit more convenient. There was a restaurant across the road with what looked like a lovely waterside patio(we didn't eat there) and several good dining options within a 5-10 minute drive. All in all it was a great experience and I'd recommend The Pines to anyone staying in the area.

There’s never anyone in the office but if you ring them, someone will show up shortly. We stayed in a cottage and it was not great. There were birds nesting in the eaves that were disruptive. Our cottage was attached to another and neighbours were very noisy. Picked the property for the big yard so we could play with our dog and were told we had to keep him leashed at all times - no throwing a ball or frisbee for us. I understand it’s policy but if there’s no one around? One night was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. We were offered a move to the motel and refunded that night, which was appreciated. The motel room was much nicer. In Rustico and close to most attractions. Food at Captains Cove across the road was very good.

We had a lovely stay at the motel. The staff was friendly. We did have heat and hot water issues late at night as we were the first client of the season but it was remedied within an hour. The staff was responsive and accommodated our needs immediately. Thank you Mark! We would recommend anyone visiting Rustico to stay at this establishment.

Been to alot of motel, this one is exceptional. Accomodated our late arrival, no fuss check in and check out. Clean , area is safe, staff is super helpful in giving suggestions on where to visit places. I am very satisfied with our stay.

Pros: air conditioning is quiet and working good. Cons: we have to phone the receptionist no matter check-in or check-out as she is always outside of the office. And that phone number is different from the number we can find on Expedia. It made me confusing. There are not many places you can put your staff. Tables are limited and small.

Lovely, quiet quaint motel overlooking water. Room with kitchenette was very nice! Muskoka chairs outside door for morning coffee. Larry is super friendly and helpful host. Just to note if you are going shortly, there is currently no office sign and a bit of construction on nearby bridge. Just go in and park and go to Suite 1 for check in. Great location close to Cavendish and their attractions and an easy drive to many coastal beaches as well as Charlottetown.

We stayed one night at The Pines and it was great! Very reasonably priced, the rooms were clean, comfy beds, and they had a very reasonable pet fee ($10). The staff we encountered were super friendly as well. Oh! And be sure to check to out the bakery down the street!

Good place and great price. Downside is that everything in Rustico and Cavendish seems to shut down early after the July/August peak season. We couldn't find anywhere to serve us with food after 7.30pm. Overpriced Fisherman's wharf lobster suppers with big salad bar wouldn't serve us at 7.35pm and Blue Mussel Cafe on the wharf was busy and only accepting reservations. Nothing in Cavendish by the time we got there around 8pm. This is LM Montgomery Anne of GG country. A hub of PEI tourism. They really need to serve those tourists better. We went hungry that night. Wonder if they starved orphan Annie..?
