Awesome location if exploring Tokyo! Accessible to most train lines and walking distance to many must do sights. They also had good facilities in the reception area, laundry, water/ice, vending machines and amenities (brush, toothbrushes, creams, soaps, spf etc etc

Good little property, with great general facilities and staff! Amazing transport links and lots of great food in the area. Room was small but good for what you pay for. Toilet noisy when in preparation mode when you sit down also, not ideal if staying as a pair. Air vents were dirty but overall cleanliness was okay. Slept well but mattress was ripped at the bottom edge? Didnt effect sleep and was covered by the bedding. Good budget hotel in Tokyo with awesome links and has everything you need for a comfortable stay

This hotel's staff is just wonderful and very responsive to our questions! We will definitely consider staying here again in Tokyo! It is located near Tokyo station and very walkable, and the Edogrand offers wonderful places to eat without having to venture too far out for weary traveler. You can pick up hotel amenities at the lobby if you need anything, and get daily clean towels if you desire. There's also currency exchange machine and laundry facilities on the 2nd floor lobby/front desk, so everything is very convenient and nice! We loved the staff and everything about this hotel! And, it was worth paying a little extra to get the superior twin bed room as it offered much for space for our 4 pieces of luggage and as sofa! I loved the fact that their bathroom is not a "step up" but level to the floor! There is also a refrigerator in the room and big enough closet space. Loved it!

The facility is clean, and the staff is always friendly. There is great transportation near the hotel. The Asakusa line to Narita Airport is a 4 minute walk, even with luggage. There is a food and coffee all around the area. The hotel has a sushi restaurant connected to it and the food was great. Tokyo station is about a 10 minute walk and there is so much food and places to shop.

This Sotetsu is a great budget friendly stay! They had a lot of free amenities to use while you’re there, and the staff was very helpful. All these rooms are incredibly small, so that is the trade-off you pay for when staying in a very convenient area near Ginza.

일본 자주 가고 도쿄도 여러번 갔기 때문에 방의 크기나 서비스는 비슷했습니다. 그런데 일단 위치가 조금 후미진 곳에 있어요. 큰 길에 있는 것이 아니라 큰길에서 한 블럭 뒤에 있기에 조금 덜 안전하다 느껴질 수 있을 거 같아요 (실제로는 주변 회사 간판 불이 켜져 있어서 어둡지는 않았습니다) 가장 가까운 편의점도 걸어서 2-3분 거리에 있습니다. 도쿄역 주변이 그렇듯이 밤이 되면 지나다니는 사람은 별로 없고 큰 마트도 없습니다. 그렇지만 가장 좋은 것은 나리타공항까지 이동하기에 좋은 위치라는 것이지요. 그 하나의 장점만 본다면, 이 곳이 아닌 다른 호텔을 선택하는 것이 좋은 선택이 될 거 같아요. 제가 이 호텔보다도 더 오래된 호텔에도 숙박했었는데 청소가 굉장히 잘되어 있었거든요. 근데 여긴 룸 청결 상태가 너무 좋지 못했어요. 제가 일본 호텔에선 무조건 호텔 잠옷을 입는데 잠옷이 누렇게 때가 껴 있었고요... 호텔 바닥엔 누군가의 잘려진 손톱(...)도 있었고 전 숙박객이 두고간 카드키 쪽지도 책상에 그대로 있었습니다. 에어컨은 아예 청소가 안된지 몇년된건지 먼지가... 제 방만 그랬는지는 모르겠지만, 룸상태는 정말 엉망이었습니다. 그냥 침대위에도 먼지가 수북했거든요...!

We chose budget hotels for our two week trip, four different chains/brands. This one was close to Tokyo Station and very convenient for many local rail lines. It was easy to visit Senso-ji, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and more places around Tokyo. Unfortunately our non-smoking room had an odor reminiscent of smoking. We tried to sleep there and weren't getting good sleep. The staff did move us to another (larger) room after we mentioned it. The double bed was smaller than three other hotels for the trip (a double isn't a double?). There was no underbed storage so just using our luggage was challenging in a normal small hotel room The headboard was too thin to set phones on overnight for charging. The TV was mounted nearly at surface level of the desk (taking up a lot of space) so setting up all our electronics to charge became a challenge onto itself. No coffee available in the hotel so I resorted to instant with the in-room kettle which also required more desk-space juggling. The restaurant's western options were unsatisfying (we tried twice). We did exchange our last day's breakfast tickets for granola packs. We wished we didn't opt to include breakfast with the room at all. I hate to speak poorly of it as we found the staff to be helpful, but it was just a sub-optimal experience for our final nights in Japan. I waited until staying at all four chains before writing any reviews. I would not stay here again.

Convenient location—walking distance to Tokyo station. 7 eleven and Family Mart a short walk from hotel. Hotel staff was wonderful. Bathroom shower curtain was smelly, but staff came and changed it for us when we requested it. Refrigerator in room. Room could use an update.

The hotel is close to Tokyo station making it very convenient. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The room was dated and sometimes there was a damp smell though the room was one accessed by the open air corridor. Fabric and air freshener was provided by the hotel. The guest floor had a clothes recycling bin for unwanted clothing which was nice to see. The TV in the room was modern and could be used to watch Netflix (on your own account) and see information about the hotel.

This hotel location is great, it is situated in between 2 train lines which makes it really easy to travel around Tokyo. There are also two combines situated just about 3mins walk away from the hotel, which is really great. The room is very comfortable for a solo traveller but would be a bit tight for 2pax. There are washing machines and dryers at the reception level and they also provided a lot of toiletries, coffee and tea at the reception level. They even provided pyjamas! The staffs were friendly and helpful, overall a very enjoyable stay! 😌

Ok but wouldn't go back. Ac right above bed so was uncomfortable at night and the ac machine spluttered water over you periodically. Comedy ironing set which was totally useless - do not stay at this hotel if you are on a business trip. Bathroom cramped, my head touched ceiling, smelled musty. Window didnt open even a crack so not able to air the room. Bed was comfortable though and didnt suffer any noise.

Hotel staff was very kind and very easy check in. Coin laundry on site. Air conditioner was very loud all night and bed was hard as a rock. We stayed in 3 separate hotels and this hotel had the most firm uncomfortable bed - hardly able to get any sleep because it felt like sleeping on the ground.

Check in with no choice but 3pm, unlike other hotels. Lady in the reception is not friendly but others are fine. Able to borrow umbrella on the day it rained. Hotel is 8 mn walk fr the Tokyo station airport bus. This hotel's staff is just wonderful and very responsive to our questions! We will definitely consider staying here again in Tokyo! It is located near Tokyo station and very walkable, and the Edogrand offers wonderful places to eat without having to venture too far out for weary traveler. You can pick up hotel amenities at the lobby if you need anything, and get daily clean towels if you desire. There's also currency exchange machine and laundry facilities on the 2nd floor lobby/front desk, so everything is very convenient and nice! We loved the staff and everything about this hotel! And, it was worth paying a little extra to get the superior twin bed room as it offered much for space for our 4 pieces of luggage and as sofa! I loved the fact that their bathroom is not a "step up" but level to the floor! There is also a refrigerator in the room and big enough closet space. Loved it!

I found staff to be unfriendly at check-in and not willing to provide any additional information unless specifically asked. After a long flight and suffering jetlag... a little smile, and a warm 'hello' would have been greatly appreciated. Instead I had to stand and knock on the front desk to get attention and then told... come back at 3:00 when check-in scheduled. Which I completely understood about the check-in time but, even a little explanation of locking up luggage until check-in or a change room / place to freshen up was provided, more knowledge of what is available close to the airport. Otherwise the room was clean, small but clean and all we needed was a bed and shower for the night and that's what we got.

We only stayed for 1 night, so other reviewers may have more to say. We didn’t like the area - it’s in what felt like mostly a corporate area, and expensive shopping - not our vibe. Room is tiny, but well laid out. Walking distance from Tokyo Central train station which is why we picked it.

Close to Ginza line Kyobashi station. 15 minute walk to Tokyo station. Not many affordable eateries nearby, but you can easily take the train to Shibuya where there’s lots. The room is very small but has all the usual amenities. I do like the pajamas that Sotetsu hotels provide.

The facility is clean, and the staff is always friendly. There is great transportation near the hotel. The Asakusa line to Narita Airport is a 4 minute walk, even with luggage. There is a food and coffee all around the area. The hotel has a sushi restaurant connected to it and the food was great. Tokyo station is about a 10 minute walk and there is so much food and places to shop.

This hotel was perfect so exploring all of Tokyo. The only disappointment was the “free” breakfast that was included. The menu was the same as their lunch menu. Not a fan of chicken and rice for breakfast. Wish there had been more than 3 meal options as none of them were appealing for 7 in the morning. I ended up buying food at the nearby 7eleven. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel.
