This was our second stay at the Portofino, this time at the end of our week in Mallorca. We had a comfortable room with a sea view, aircon and powerful shower. There was also a small fridge which was really useful. Check-in was straightforward and our room was ready early. The pool is lovely, with plenty of chairs, loungers and parasols and there is a bar serving food. The beach is a few minutes’ walk away. The rooftop bar is a bonus, with panoramic views and cocktails. The staff were so helpful and friendly, including arranging taxis, giving recommendations for restaurants and advice about buses. Checkout is a generous 12:00. Our flight wasn’t until later in the evening, so we stayed round the pool and were given the use of a single room to shower before we left for the airport. We couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity. Thank you.

Für Kurztripp von 4 Tagen war das Hotel perfekt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Frühstück ist ok, Pool reicht für ein kurzen Aufenthalt, nahe zum Sandstrand, schöne Strandpromenade, Fahrradverleih im Hotel und nahe zur Busshaltestelle.

Rooms are small, but functional, ours had a nice sea view from our small balcony. Staff are mostly friendly and service is good. Hotel is clean and well kept, nice swimming pool which was never that busy.

The hotel is really lovely . Not crowded and all the staff are lovely . Just a minute walk from sandy beach. Although the rooms are small they are so clean and comfy. The only reason it didn’t give the facilities a 5 star was , we were expecting a roof top bar which is closed and the normal bar closes at 6 . Which is S shame if you want a drink .

Très bon séjour, hôtel propre, personnel très sympathique. Hotel par contre un peu bruyant, pas de poignées sur les portes côté couloir, donc ça flanque les portes à tour de bras.Avec les bus le centre est vite accessible, possibilité de louer des vélos, une piste cyclable qui va vers Majorque et de l'autre côté.

Väldigt prisvärt och trevligt hotell med ett bra läge. Lite små rum men rent och fräscht. Mycket trevlig personal. Fick först ett rum med tråkig utsikt och knappt någon sol. Vi ville hellre ha ett med kvällssol men inga problem att byta. Bodde här tre nätter och kommer gärna tillbaka. Fina strandpromenader åt bägge håll. Vi hade ingen frukost så den vet vi inget om.

L’hôtel est très bien placé en périphérie de Palma. Proche de la plage et des restaurants. La chambre est très petite, difficile d’y ouvrir une valise cependant la propreté était au rendez vous. Gros bémol pour le bruit, les gens ne respectent rien. Ils claquent les portes et parlent fort à 2 ou 3h du matin. Un groom pour éviter tout ces claquages de porte serait pas du luxe.

Litet mysigt hotell som funkade bra för en övernattning. Hotellet har inte riktigt hängt med i uppdateringarna, så inga vägguttag vid sängen, knappt några i rummet, Inga hygienprodukter och inte det där lilla extra som man kanske önskar av ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. Väldigt nära till stranden och flera mysiga restauranger inom gångavstånd.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, Frühstück ist einfach aber gut. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig und auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Es müsste an der ein oder anderen Stelle renoviert werden.

Godt hotel til kortere ophold. På plussiden: Beliggenheden er god, tæt på den fine strand. Der var rent og fint, og stille og roligt om natten. Effektiv og stille aircon. Sengene er behagelige, ved kortere ophold. Efter den tredje nat begynder madrassen at bide, den er fast og giver ikke efter ved skulder/hofte. Vi er dog 60+ og lidt krævende i den afdeling, så det er sikkert ikke et problem for unge mennesker. På minussiden: Der mangler stikkontakter. Der er ikke en eneste stikkontakt ved skrivebordet, og her må man hive stikket til TV´et ud for at få 1 stikkontakt, som så er den eneste på værelset. Vi har både laptop, tablets og 2 telefoner med, så det var klart i underkanten. Der mangler hyldeplads og kroge på badeværelset. Der er bare en mini-hylde til rådighed til alle toiletsager, og ingen steder man kan hænge håndklæder og badetøj til tørre (når man ikke har balkon). Og der er alt for få bøjler i garderoben. Tips til hotellet: Sæt en forlængerledning med 4-5 stik ved skrivebordet, få et par hylder og kroge op på badeværelset og hæng 10 ekstra bøjler i garderoben. Det er små og billige indgreb, som ville gøre opholdet så meget bedre.

Saubere und gut ausgestattete Zimmer - uns hätte noch eine kleine Kaffeemaschine gefehlt. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück sehr lecker. Gute Busanbindung nach Palma. Einziger Nachteil: die Wände sind nicht sehr dick und man konnte die Zimmernachbarn sehr gut hören.

The rooftop bar is a bonus, with panoramic views and cocktails. The staff were so helpful and friendly, including arranging taxis, giving recommendations for restaurants and advice about buses. Checkout is a generous 12:00. Our flight wasn’t until later in the evening, so we stayed round the pool and were given the use of a single room to shower before we left for the airport. We couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity. Thank you.

We loved this hotel! The staff was friendly and checked us in around 1 am when we got there. Their website says they stop check in at midnight but I can confirm that they’ll pretty much check you in at any point you just have to email them for a super late check in. The rooftop bar was super cool and a perfect view of the sunset over the mountains! The room is quite small but we found it comfortable. Would stay in here again for sure and would recommend.

Really fantastic location, 30 seconds to the beach, fantastic restaurant next door, 7 minutes on the bus to Palma and buses are every 10 minutes or so. Rooms aren’t huge but we had a sea view and little balcony. We chose to buy our own breakfast (pastries) and coffee from a local coffee shop 2 minutes away on the same road and eat on the balcony which was lovely. Bathroom was modern and very clean. Beds are firm and comfortable with quality white cotton bedding. The carpet and headboard showed some signs of wear and could do with an update but nothing to detract from all the positives

Once again we have had another great stay at this lovely hotel. I cant recommend it enough. Its situated in a lovely residential area next to a beautiful beach with views over Palma bay.

Séjour excellent. Piscine très agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux et très varié pour tout les goûts aux bords de la piscine. La plage agréable est à 50m. Le personnel est au top et s'adapte. On a pu profiter de la piscine après le check out.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, Frühstück ist einfach aber gut. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig und auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Es müsste an der ein oder anderen Stelle renoviert werden.

The hotel is really lovely . Not crowded and all the staff are lovely . Just a minute walk from sandy beach. Although the rooms are small they are so clean and comfy. The only reason it didn’t give the facilities a 5 star was , we were expecting a roof top bar which is closed and the normal bar closes at 6 . Which is S shame if you want a drink .

Saubere und gut ausgestattete Zimmer - uns hätte noch eine kleine Kaffeemaschine gefehlt. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück sehr lecker. Gute Busanbindung nach Palma. Einziger Nachteil: die Wände sind nicht sehr dick und man konnte die Zimmernachbarn sehr gut hören.

Great for us as we had an overnight stay before flying home. The Hotel has a good location, the beach is close, but it is a 4km walk into Palma - albeit a nice walk along the promenade, passing beaches and marinas!

We had a great trip to Palma using this hotel as our base. We hired bikes for €14 each per day and cycled to the castle and Palma. There are cycle lanes the whole way along the promenade so it was an easy and scenic was to get around! We walked to Palma in around an hour - along the seafront the whole way which was so pretty. Hotel was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood 2 minutes from the beach. Not far to walk to nice breakfast spots like Petit Nola and Lily’s to watch the world go by. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and good value for money for a good base. Would stay here again!
