Stayed here on our way to The Vendee. Lovely big family room with modern bathroom, spotlessly clean and obviously well looked after. We had puzzas from the restaurant next door for dinner which we ate in the garden. Breakfast in the morning was brilliant, so many items to choose from. My children can't wait to go back next year.

Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect.

Tempting for overnight stops to go for a hotel chain so there are no surprises but this hotel confirms the merit of staying in a hotel with character in a peaceful French village. The building around a courtyard garden with an old well has much charm. We enjoyed a cold beer in the evening sun when we arrived after a long drive. A modern extension is very well disguised with a form of ivy. The rooms in this are scrupulously clean, spacious and modern with a large shower. Perhaps the rooms in the original building are more traditional? The breakfast in a room overlooking the courtyard, with a large variety of items including pastries, some cheese and cold meats, was very good. The village restaurant is next door and offers takeaway pizzas 7-9pm. Order early as there can be a wait on busy evenings. Très bien accueilli. A répondu favorablement à ma demande de prise de recharge electrique pour véhicule (12heures nocturnes - facturé 10€). Petit déjeuner très bien, complet et produits frais. Globalement une adresse avec un rapport qualité prix interessant. Restaurant à coté, avec une cuisine maison au rapport Q/P très interessant aussi.

A very pleasant stop over on way to Spain. Room booked for 4 adults which could have easily accomodated 6 people as there was 1 kingsize bed, 1 double pull our sofa bed ( very well dressed and comfortable), and single bunk beds. All beds were a good size even for out 6.1ft son. 2 chairs to relax on and a couple of side tables. Our room key had \'Rose" printed on it. Very spacious room even with all the available furnishings. Shower room ( wet room ) has a lovely rainfall shower and a modern sink which again is spacious. Separate toilet. Towels are clean and soft. Tolietries also available. Room temperature was cool despite us visiting in July. Window dressings and blind made the room remain dark early in the morning to aid a lie in. Welcoming staff ( sorry didnt get her name) was very pleasant and despite us not speaking very much french at all she was patient and helped us find somewhere to eat dinner. The lady who helped us with checkout was also very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was really well laid out and adequate. Very quiet area in all. Thank you for a lovely stay.

De vrouw van de ontvangst sprak alleen Frans en geen woord Engels, met ons Frans konden we het niet bijhouden. De bedden hadden een plastic laag op de matras waardoor warmte niet weg kon, ook was er geen airco en was het erg heet.

Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect.

Un bel hôtel un peu éloigné du Mans mais qui reste honnête pendant cette période des 24h. La gérante est sympathique et arrangeante tout en étant présente. Nous y retournerons sans souci.

Hotel was fantastic! We will definatley be back to this accomodation. Perfect location for Le Mans and so quiet. The room was amazing very little thing the toilet flush wasnt completed and there was a wire that was not connected in the old pizza oven. But thats being really picky. Thank you very much and we shall hopefully see you soon

Stayed here on our way to The Vendee. Lovely big family room with modern bathroom, spotlessly clean and obviously well looked after. We had puzzas from the restaurant next door for dinner which we ate in the garden. Breakfast in the morning was brilliant, so many items to choose from. My children can't wait to go back next year.
