Fantastic resort with spacious, clean, quiet rooms. Beach area is nice with a shower. Free extensive breakfast and 25 Euro voucher per person per day for food and drinks. Staff was polite and helpful. Only complaint is that they charge guests extra for umbrellas and chairs on the resort property on their own beach. That wasn’t cool.

The most disappointing and worst resort experience of my life. This place is a total joke of a hotel. Very few staff that only service you via a QR code ordering system. Broken A/C in the unit where we were given generic responses but it never got fixed during our stay. Snarky responses from staff. Sunbeds (the only seating) that are part of the hotel near the water are additional charges. Exteremely far away from downtown Hvar with cabs that charge you 80 euro to get back and forth from the hotel.

Très bel hôtel, moderne avec des prestations de grande qualité. Proximité de la plage avec transats mis à disposition, un spa pour la détente qui donne sur la mer, deux piscines. Aquagym le matin. Un DJ anime l’après midi autour de la piscine, un peu trop bruyante. Pour le dîner un forfait de 25€ permet de choisir le repas et évite le gaspillage des buffets. Très bonne impression dans l’ensemble. Hôtel à recommander.

Great place . Clean , lovely staff and made very welcome. Great to have water on tap all the time . Food ok , although menus limiting so ate out most nights . Lovely water taxi into village . Swimming at in the sea was a bit rustic - more needs to be made to tidy up that area ! Unfortunately a few families came from next door hotel and the kids took over the pool with lilos etc and staff did not remove them or notice they were not guests ! Overall great stay.

This property was designed with the guest experience in mind. The resort was full of game, nooks, hammocks, bars, and free pool beds that didn’t have to be reserved. We stayed in a Valamar property in Dubrovnik afterwards based on our good experience

Had an absolute amazing time at this hotel last week, the location right next to the beach was brilliant. The pool is an amazing way to have a relaxing time. Although slightly on the small side, the rooms were very clean and having a balcony was nice. The spa was very enjoyable and also very well priced.

The staff were amazing, the pool and beach area are beautiful and the air con in the building was crispy! Quick water taxi to Stari Grad from the beach area was 2 euro and worth it. This is a great spot for a relaxing and convenient stay

We had a wonderful stay – everything was just lovely! The room was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast was top class. We really enjoyed the pool and bar too. Great atmosphere all around – would happily come back!

The good.... The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The decor and ambience of the hotel was wonderful. The cleanliness was just perfect. The bathrooms had great water pressure and nice toiletries The bad..... Extra charge for sun loungers on the beach Extra charge to switch beach towels Menu and food was not to our taste, heavily into fish and meat or fake meat. Could improve by adding vegetable based dishes. The room was quite noisy for sleep, we were closest to the entrance.

A wonderful summer vacation in a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is located in a beautiful pine park in the bay near Stari Grad, Hvar. Everything is very unique about the guesthouse, but the friendly Luka at the reception explained everything to us upon arrival. We all received a bracelet to pay for food and drinks and to open the room. The balance can always be checked on the app on the phone. The place is really wonderful with two swimming pools and close to the sea. The staff is very friendly, from Katarina to Maria and Stefan, who always find time to talk to each guest individually. Damir is in charge of the kitchen and surprises me with his knowledge of gluten-free food, for which I regularly receive advice. All of the staff are cheerful and smiling, and Emma’s wonderful smile during meals refreshes the whole day. The music by the pool is fantastic, with different DJs, and we must praise the girl with the violin who perfectly fits into the sound of mixed good old and new hits. Guests have free sunbeds in the park and next to the swimming pool, which completes the wonderful and high-quality offer. If you want the atmosphere of a small town on the coast, you can walk along the sea to the center of Stari Grad with its restaurants and cafes. Thanks to Stefan for the gluten-free beer 🍻

Top frühstücks, große Auswahl für jeden etwas dabei, auch vegane Alternativen. Super Idee mit dem Flexi Busget von 25€ pro Person. Kann sowohl für Essen als auch Getränke den ganzen Tag über ausgegeben werden. Wir haben dies meist für Getränke genutzt, jeden Abend waren auch noch 1 bis 2 Cocktails dabei, so eine Auswahl habe ich noch nie gesehen, wow! Bar am Meer war auch sehr schön, hier lässt sich der Tag genießen. Das Personal war auch super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage war schön ruhig gelegen, Stari Grad Town ist zu Fus sehr hut erreichbar, der Weg führt direkt am Meer bzw. Hafen entlang. Auch Ausflüge mit dem Taxi in andere Städte sind problem und schnell möglich, nur nicht ganz günstig, da die Taxis hier ein Monopol haben. Die Zimmergröse S ist etwas klein, Badezimmer sehr eng, eignet sich eher als Einzelzimmer. Da aber meist wenig Zeit im Zimmer verbracht wird , in Ordnung. Sauberkeit könnte besser sein, alleridings kann per App eine Nachbesserung angeordnet werden, dies hat auch direkt reibungslos funktioniert. Lange erreichbar hut Idee.

Excelente estadia. O hotel é limpo, organizado e as acomodações muito confortáveis. Café da manhã maravilhoso. No almoço e no jantar eles oferecem uma sopa e salada de cortesia para complementar a sua refeição.

Hotel reformado completamente. Las instalaciones modernas, el desayuno de 10 y la decoración y limpieza de las habitaciones excelente. La zona de piscina y playa espectacular. Repetiría segurísimo.

I travelled with my husband and we stayed for 3 nights. It was a great short trip! The resort is beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The bathrooms were okay, they did not match the vibe of the rest of the hotel, but everything still worked. We had an issue with our balcony door and it was promptly fixed. There is wifi all over the resort including the lobby and the pool area. The buffet breakfast was my favourite part of the trip, the selection had everything you can imagine. The rest of the food was quite delicious too, including pizza, pasta and seafood. The staff were nice enough, but I found that when I spoke Croatian they changed their attitude and were more friendly towards me (I speak English with my husband). Overall I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came up!

Hotellet överlag är bra med bra pool och strand, men betyget dras ner på grund av rummen. Väldigt små, dålig renovering, badrum äldre stuk och otroligt litet. Städning av rummen under all kritik. Enbart bäddning av sängar och byte av handdukar.

We loved our stay!! This hotel is fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The half board concept works fantastically and allows complete flexibility. The food is very good and breakfast included also fantastic, this is buffet style but includes everything from continental to cooked to oysters to fresh juices and more!! The rooms are clean. The staff really make this place, always very helpful. The entire hotel pretty much runs off an app you download on checkin so that may cause some people issues although I am sure the staff would help. We had issues with transfer when we arrived however on the way back to the ferry the hotel organised this and was only 5 euro each so would definitely recommend contacting them to do both ways.

Ganska fint hotell. I första rummet vi fick fungerade inte ACn, så vi fick byta till ett annat rum. Det andra rummet hade man inte städat så bra. Frukosten var det bästa på hotellet. Lunchen var helt okej, men tyvärr inte fisken vi fick. Blev dock kompenserad med ny mat då fisken var jättetorr.

As áreas comuns do hotel eram lindas e ótimas. Café da manhã excelente! Porém o quarto era bem pequeno, sem frigobar. O quarto era bem decorado, porém o banheiro era minúsculo, escuro e opressor. Quanto ao serviço de shuttle Entre Hvar Town e Stari Grad achamos caro. São 30 euros por pessoa ida e volta. Poderia ser um serviço oferecido pelo hotel ou um valor mais simbólico.

Had an absolute amazing time at this hotel last week, the location right next to the beach was brilliant. The pool is an amazing way to have a relaxing time. Although slightly on the small side, the rooms were very clean and having a balcony was nice. The spa was very enjoyable and also very well priced.

Ideal für Familien mit grossen Kindern. Sehr Sauberes Hotel und Umwelt bewusst. Zimmer waren leider ein bisschen lärmig und die Klimaanlage leider auch. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert. Hotellet överlag är bra med bra pool och strand, men betyget dras ner på grund av rummen. Väldigt små, dålig renovering, badrum äldre stuk och otroligt litet. Städning av rummen under all kritik. Enbart bäddning av sängar och byte av handdukar.

I travelled with my husband and we stayed for 3 nights. It was a great short trip! The resort is beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The bathrooms were okay, they did not match the vibe of the rest of the hotel, but everything still worked. We had an issue with our balcony door and it was promptly fixed. There is wifi all over the resort including the lobby and the pool area. The buffet breakfast was my favourite part of the trip, the selection had everything you can imagine. The rest of the food was quite delicious too, including pizza, pasta and seafood. The staff were nice enough, but I found that when I spoke Croatian they changed their attitude and were more friendly towards me (I speak English with my husband). Overall I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came up!

Ganska fint hotell. I första rummet vi fick fungerade inte ACn, så vi fick byta till ett annat rum. Det andra rummet hade man inte städat så bra. Frukosten var det bästa på hotellet. Lunchen var helt okej, men tyvärr inte fisken vi fick. Blev dock kompenserad med ny mat då fisken var jättetorr.

We had a wonderful experience at Places. It is a beautiful property with a great vibe. What made it even more enjoyable was the staff. Martha was wonderful and gave great tips on places to visit. Miheala was a great concierge and planned a wonderful wine tasting excursion for us. We had an issue with my bank card and Marissa went above and beyond to fix it. I cannot say enough about the team of people working in the hotel!

Broken A/C in the unit where we were given generic responses but it never got fixed during our stay. Snarky responses from staff. Sunbeds (the only seating) that are part of the hotel near the water are additional charges. Exteremely far away from downtown Hvar with cabs that charge you 80 euro to get back and forth from the hotel.

After the crowds of Split, Places was the perfect resort for our group of 8. The property is thoughtfully curated for young people and young at heart. Great technology is used throughout the experience. We saw a lot of firsts at this resort. Also, the included breakfast was a hit. It was fantastic. The rooms are small but efficiently designed. We could not think of a more magical place to stay in Hvar. Stari Grad was so much better than staying in the extremely busy Hvar Town.

As áreas comuns do hotel eram lindas e ótimas. Café da manhã excelente! Porém o quarto era bem pequeno, sem frigobar. O quarto era bem decorado, porém o banheiro era minúsculo, escuro e opressor. Quanto ao serviço de shuttle Entre Hvar Town e Stari Grad achamos caro. São 30 euros por pessoa ida e volta. Poderia ser um serviço oferecido pelo hotel ou um valor mais simbólico.

Excelente estadia. O hotel é limpo, organizado e as acomodações muito confortáveis. Café da manhã maravilhoso. No almoço e no jantar eles oferecem uma sopa e salada de cortesia para complementar a sua refeição.

Not sure if we would return. Positives are breakfast was good and varied, location is good if you want somewhere beautiful and quieter but then the hotel counteracts that with playing awful loud music. Paid extra for sea view to only see trees. Rooms are tiny and bathrooms have not been updated in the refurb, just tiles painted. The food was pretty awful for lunch/dinner and they had run out of most things on our last night due to a delivery/order mix up. Service was also hit and miss. Our shower didn’t drain and they did sort it promptly, however on the day we arrived they were very unhelpful with providing support with getting from Stari Grad ferry port - the shuttle bus was booked in for service so tough luck we were on our own. They should have provided discounted taxis for guests if the shuttle (advertised on their website) was out of service.

I travelled with my husband and we stayed for 3 nights. It was a great short trip! The resort is beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The bathrooms were okay, they did not match the vibe of the rest of the hotel, but everything still worked. We had an issue with our balcony door and it was promptly fixed. There is wifi all over the resort including the lobby and the pool area. The buffet breakfast was my favourite part of the trip, the selection had everything you can imagine. The rest of the food was quite delicious too, including pizza, pasta and seafood. The staff were nice enough, but I found that when I spoke Croatian they changed their attitude and were more friendly towards me (I speak English with my husband). Overall I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came up!

We loved our stay!! This hotel is fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The half board concept works fantastically and allows complete flexibility. The food is very good and breakfast included also fantastic, this is buffet style but includes everything from continental to cooked to oysters to fresh juices and more!! The rooms are clean. The staff really make this place, always very helpful. The entire hotel pretty much runs off an app you download on checkin so that may cause some people issues although I am sure the staff would help. We had issues with transfer when we arrived however on the way back to the ferry the hotel organised this and was only 5 euro each so would definitely recommend contacting them to do both ways.

Ganska fint hotell. I första rummet vi fick fungerade inte ACn, så vi fick byta till ett annat rum. Det andra rummet hade man inte städat så bra. Frukosten var det bästa på hotellet. Lunchen var helt okej, men tyvärr inte fisken vi fick. Blev dock kompenserad med ny mat då fisken var jättetorr.

We had a wonderful stay – everything was just lovely! The room was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast was top class. We really enjoyed the pool and bar too. Great atmosphere all around – would happily come back!

Certes la piscine et les extérieurs sont sympathiques, mais la petitesse de la chambre et de la salle de bains sont plus procje des standards de la résidence universitaire que d'un soi-disant 4 etoiles. Musique tres fortes du matin au petit-déjeuner jusqu'à 23 h. Petits déjeuners agréables mais restauration du soir insipides. Our stay at the Place Hotel was very nice. Great room (actually small, but it hardly bothered us) and a great pool area. We find the flexible half-board option really great, but unfortunately, there was very little choice for vegetarians. We would particularly like to highlight the massage by Dragana. We haven't been massaged so well and, above all, in such a relaxed and courteous atmosphere for a long time. Thank you very much for that!

Overall a good hotel. Nice tropical feeling outside, with pool and beach combined. Very entertaining hotel, games, table tennis, live music plenty of food and so on. Nothing bad to say about that. Food is good. Breakfast is good. What could be better: service. Rude waitresses, it seemed like they didn’t like their job at the restaurant. Old bathroom in room, the sink is so low, you can barely wash your face. They don’t change linen for bed at all. One of the worst things is, not enough sun beds compared to guests. By the pool everything is reserved around 7 in the morning by people leaving towels, so if you wake up at 9 in the morning, it’s hard to find a sunbed in the sun. Other than that, good area good hotel. I would maybe come again.

Exceeded expectations. pool amazing, sea access great. hiking from property to little coves and 20min walk to town for amazing restaurants. $30 daily credit / person free amazing breakfast and soup and salad lunch was an added bonus. bikes available to hire, reception set up a car rental for us for 24hours so we could explore too. Stari grad is a perfect spot to explore Hvar away from touristy main town.
