Had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful antique property with lots of little extra touches. Wine and Cheese in the afternoon, macarons and champagne at night were all delicious. Parking and check-in and out are across the street at the Indigo Inn. Our only small issue is there isn't any place to sit and have the breakfast buffet. It is served in front hallway on a buffet. Food was all yummy but we had to take it back to our room or sit out on front deck. This was in no way a slight but just something to be aware of. We are so happy with our decision to stay here and will definitely be back!

The property is beautiful. It is a little challenging to find the correct parking lot and the sister hotel.Other than that we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was wonderful. We got there too late to enjoy the charcuterie but everything worked out wonderfully. We are already planning to go back in September and staying 3 nights. Do not hesitate to book here. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. I can’t wait to go back!

The hotel was beautiful. A bit awkward having to park across the street and check in at another hotel. The staff was wonderful. The beds are way to high off the floor. Breakfast and wine and cheese were great

The Jasmine House was a delightful, last-minute find that won our hearts with its B&B charm. It just jumped the line as our new go-to for our annual trek to Charleston. Amenities abound, the garden was lush and serene, and the inkeepers went out of their way to ensure a comfortable, memorable stay.

It is owned and operates by the Indigo Inn so you have to park & check in and out there, which is across the street and a parking lot. I probably would have just stayed there knowing that now. The breakfast there was better too. A bellhop brought our luggage to the room, which was very nice! We stayed in the carriage house, the room was roomy and nice. You have to keep in mind it’s an old house, so it’s not perfect. The bed was comfortable, but you could feel every little movement. It could have been a little cleaner, especially in the shower. There was dirt between the bed & wall and I moved the tv stands out to get one and it hadn’t been swept behind them. Free local snacks in room was a very nice jester!

The Jasmine House is wonderful …. Very accomodating …. Very relaxing …. Very convenient. Our group booked 3 of the 4 rooms in the Carriage House for a week….Absolutely loved the courtyard.

Lovely continental breakfast, nice happy hour and fun bedtime cookies. Room was large and beautifully decorated. Had a mini fridge that is stocked with bottled water and soft drinks. Also got a welcome basket of local snacks. Staff was very accommodating. You do check in and park at the Indigo Inn which is across the street and one parking lot over. You also park your car there for $20/day. Easy walk to Market area and downtown. Nice to sit out on the porch for breakfast and happy hour.

Quaint, charming excellent place to stay. We were in the carriage house and it was perfect. We had an upstairs room and it was way more spacious than expected. The courtroom outside was so relaxing and well maintained. Breakfasts and happy hour were fantastic. Employees were super friendly and helpful. Absolutely would stay here again. Location was perfect .. walkable to everywhere. Parking across the street easy in and out.

The Jasmine House is a beautiful place to stay if you want a place to stay with history, and everyday comfort. Loved sitting on the big front porch for happy hour and the serenity of the patio for morning coffee. It was easily walkable to the downtown. Restaurants were plentiful…shopping downtown was lovely.

The property next door has a large pond/fountain full of frogs,they peeped all night very loudly, the property was also not as clean as we would have expected for 350 a night. Lastly there was no breakfast just a few items like cold fruit or ceral. No hot breakfast like we thought..

Staying for 2 nights at the Jasmine House was perfect and comfortable. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Jasmine House is in a great location for walking to all the best restaurants and shopping. I plan to stay at this location again when I visit Charleston again soon.

The only thing I want to bring to your attention is the rug in the room was very dirty...could use a shampoo. Other than that it was lovely The men that took my luggage were kind and helpful and the woman that helped with wine & cheese and cleaned my room she was great too.

What a gorgeous property. Our room in the main house was clean and spacious. Being an adults only property was also great. It was so quiet! We cannot say enough good things about Mary! She really made our stay feel so personal and our conversations with her in the morning were what convinced us that if we ever visit the area again we will stay at the Jasmine House! Thank you to all the staff for your attentiveness to keep the property clean and beautiful. The free snacks and drinks were also a major plus.

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in the hotel . Overall look of the property is beautiful and have a lot of potential . The sheets were dirty and we asked to be changed and right away someone came . After discovering situation with the sheets we decided to look around to make sure and that’s how we noticed how dirty the room was ! We find bugs and lots dust behind the bed area ! Clearly that never is cleaned . Overall hotel have nice touches like breakfast coffee wine water small treats few times a day if needed! And historic look that my daughter and I love . We hoping that they will focus more on cleaning and pay attention how the stuff do the job and if rooms are clean!!!

Loved the little special touches. Breakfast delivered to your door, wine/beer and charcuterie early evening and champagne and dessert later on. Staff was all exceptional. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay again, loved it.

Wonderful location. Beautifully decorated room. Clean. Parking is right across the street. The place is loud if you stay on the first floor as you will hear everything in the hallway and people entering and exiting the inn. That occasional noise if you stay on first floor is the only drawback to this inn. Maybe staying on the upper floor is better to be away from the hall traffic.

While the room(s) were extraordinary and beautiful with amenities, comfort and beautifully designed and appointed, one terrible omission was noted and undermined the rest: the bed pillows were truly unacceptable. The overstuffed rubber-filled pillows were unusable. Neither my partner nor I could get a decent night’s sleep. The thick depth made sleeping impossible. You really should consider replacing these tacky and miserable foam pillows. Until then I am advising colleagues to avoid this otherwise wonderful and exemplary Inn on our frequent visits to Charleston.

We had corner room by the kitchen and elevator.. it was very plain and small. My sister had corner room to the left as you entered the house. It was very roomy and decorated so beautifully! We both paid same price .. I felt we didn’t have equality in rooms.. !! I found the breakfast to be very good and the afternoon cheese and wine to be very nice as well as the goodies and drinks provided in our rooms. Staff was awesome!

It was cool to be in an older building but, with that comes quirks. It was very loud and the morning with people from other rooms using the breakfast buffet right outside our room. Our room was also right next to the exit and entrance so, that was noisy as well at the end and start of a day.

My husband and I divided our trip between two of the older properties in Charleston and this was my favorite of them. We stayed in the parlor suite on the second floor. It was amazing! The room was HUGE with beautiful period furniture and one of the most beautiful antique mirror I have ever seen. The semi private balcony (the entire top is shared only with one other room) was perfect when the heat of the day moved into dusk and a balmy breeze kicked in. We enjoyed the complimentary evening reception of beer, wine and snacks out there each evening. Breakfast didn’t vary much but there was enough options to give you a healthy start to the day. Snacks are available throughout the afternoon and yummy macrons are offered as a nighttime sweet. Despite the high ceilings the air conditioning was more than sufficient. There’s a beautiful grotto out back to sit and relax or have morning coffee. My only complaint is that the hot water is temperamental and we only had one night of hot water. The rest of the time it was tepid. Not bad for a hot August day in Charleston but not during a January day. Maybe it depends on how many guests are calling for hot water. Despite that, it was awesome

The free food and drink was great and always available. The cable tv was out and we got no notice. I understand there are issues out of your control but let us know. The door to the room was difficult to open, had to kick it. Bedside lamp was not working properly. Would have been a 5 without a couple of these minor issues. Will stay again.

From the check in process with Kim to the check out process it was amazing. The rooms were cleaned daily and every detail was in place. If you want a relaxed laid back beautiful house experience but close to everything this is it. We will definitely be back!

Staying for 2 nights at the Jasmine House was perfect and comfortable. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Jasmine House is in a great location for walking to all the best restaurants and shopping. I plan to stay at this location again when I visit Charleston again soon.

This was a good choice. The property is located in central Charleston, next to the City Market. Excellent access to dining, shopping and site seeing. Everything is within walking distance. The property itself is a charming Victorian era building. It's quiet and peaceful, even though the surrounding area is very active. The daily happy hour offerings and continental breakfast are a nice perk if you are so inclined. I would definitely stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful antique property with lots of little extra touches. Wine and Cheese in the afternoon, macarons and champagne at night were all delicious. Parking and check-in and out are across the street at the Indigo Inn. Our only small issue is there isn't any place to sit and have the breakfast buffet. It is served in front hallway on a buffet. Food was all yummy but we had to take it back to our room or sit out on front deck. This was in no way a slight but just something to be aware of. We are so happy with our decision to stay here and will definitely be back!

Perfectly located and convenient to shopping and THE Best restaurants in Charleston! Like living “at home” in Charleston without buying a house! The staff are all very helpful. Nicely decorated rooms, very thoughtful and generous they provided a variety of local snacks complementary in the room, really great that they provided Hors d'oeuvres plus beer and wine in the evening. Continental breakfast was good, mini ham and cheese sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, croissants, milk, juice, coffee, nice variety. Only complaint was the showerhead was mounted too high which made the spray too wide, so hard to wash and rinse long hair. Overall a great place and I would go back again.

It is owned and operates by the Indigo Inn so you have to park & check in and out there, which is across the street and a parking lot. I probably would have just stayed there knowing that now. The breakfast there was better too. A bellhop brought our luggage to the room, which was very nice! We stayed in the carriage house, the room was roomy and nice. You have to keep in mind it’s an old house, so it’s not perfect. The bed was comfortable, but you could feel every little movement. It could have been a little cleaner, especially in the shower. There was dirt between the bed & wall and I moved the tv stands out to get one and it hadn’t been swept behind them. Free local snacks in room was a very nice jester!

Nice location and property. Our room was on 2nd floor with access to balcony. The room was large, historic, and we enjoyed the stay. Only oddity was that breakfast/ food items are essentially in hallway as buffet style - tight spacing. But food was fine and allowed for flexibility. Staff was nice

We stayed at the carriage house of the Jasmine House. We were impressed with the great staff, attention to detail, and room service. The room was comfortable and spacious. We highly recommend the Jasmine House to anyone who wants to be close to the action in Charleston.

Had the Proprietor's Suite at Jasmine House, which is a beautiful, spacious and well-appointed suite worth the rate paid. There was minor evidence of wear-and-tear, but it does not detract from the overall experience. The caliber of the breakfast entrees could use improvement and be less eclectic. In other words, proffer more standard breakfast fare. For example, a "fried egg" should be a fried egg. While we appreciated the effort at offering healthy food items, the "delivery" or execution needs work. The elevator is slow and clanky. However, overall, we had a great time and experience.
