Our original hotel had lost our booking, so we had nowhere to stay when me and my friends arrived in Oslo for a concert. Luckily, I found this hotel - Frogner House Apartments, and I must say the service was exceptional. Me and my friends arrived 10 minutes after booking the hotel, and they arranged the room immediately and delivered an extra bed and towels quickly, since we were three people. The welcome was kind and keen, and the room had a kitchen area with fridge and dishwasher. We bought our own breakfast from the store close by, but you could order breakfast to the room if you liked. The room was airy and bright during the day, and we got a comfortable sleep during the night. I will definitelt stay at this place next time I'll be visiting Oslo; I highly recommend this hotel!

It’s a great location in the middle of chique Oslo. Hotel is dated. No restaurant in the hotel but you can get a breakfast bag delivered to your room. Great and friendly staff

This was a very nice hotel and the most spacious room with a kitchette. Love the black outs on the windows and the ability to fully open the windows for airflow. Best part is that the room had a small fan!!!

Jeg hadde et kjempe flott opphold og ble møtt med super hyggelige medarbeidere. Fikk sjekket enkelt inn på tiden og ble møtt av et rent og komfortabelt rom. Hyggelig innredet og et trivelig tekjøkken. Rent og pent. Kommer gjerne tilbake igjen!

Bodde i ett rum högst upp i huset och där var det väldigt varmt, dessutom var golvvärmen på i badrummet som eldade på temperaturen lite extra. Till frukostpåsen hade jag önskat lite bättre och mer kaffe än en portion fystorkat kaffe per person. Men annars var det bra. Rum/fönster ut mot den tystare gatan utan spårvagn var ett plus då man såklart ville sova med öppet fönster.

Använda gamla toalettrullar, mindre än halva kvar på den som satt i när vi kom och en hel men smutsig dammig rulle på golvet brevid. Smutsigt badrumsgolv golv med gamla torkade ögonlinser på golvet. Hotellrummet va absolut iskallt, Max 15 grader. Fick värma oss i badrummet mitt i natten.

Supert sted med god beliggenhet og pris. Ble litt skuffet over at dusj slangen var røket slik at dusjen ikke var like komfortabel som resten av oppholdet. Burde være oppdaget og sjekket ut av renhold!

Et underligt mismatch imellem at forsøge og skabe stemning af eksklusivt boutique hotel, men udført i billige materialer og rengøring var ikke gjort særlig godt. Udover i emhætten, så var der ikke er eneste synligt ledigt strømstik at lade telefon og computer i. Rummet var lille og trængt, men jeg fik til sidst flyttet stol og sengebord for at rykke sengen ud og fandt et strømstik herunder. Fint til en enkelt eller to overnatninger, men ikke en stor anbefaling værd.

We stayed in a large studio for 3 nights on the second floor. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and accessible. Showers had good water pressure and ran hot, the bathroom was large enough to move around, had a fan, large windows, and closet space, and great L’occitaine amenities. The only minor thing would be the shower stall, it’s quite small, though common in Europe. The location is lovely, and walking around frogner is a visually stunning experience.

Veldig bra og rent. God lokasjon. God seng og deilig sengetøy. Store rom med god ventilasjon. Småpirk, men håndsåpedispenser var ødelagt på et av badene og taklys med støpsel i taket dratt ut og det var nesten 4 meter oppe, så umulig å fikse på kvelden.

På bilderna ser boendet nyare och fräschare ut. Det ser också mycket mysigare ut på bilderna men verkligheten är att rummen är rätt tråkigt inredda. Kök och badrum fina, men annars är väggarna väldigt slitna. Korridoren också sleten. Det hade behövts lite uppfräschning med färg och gärna lite mer ombonat inredning. Framförallt när det är en liten studiolägenhet så hade jag förväntat mig lite mysigare känsla. Rätt mycket ljud från gatorna med spårvagnen. Så ta med öronproppar.

The room was comfy and spacious, and the location of the property was very good. Sadly, the drainage in the wet room was terrible.. if the shower was put at full power the room wood begin to flood immediately, even on half power the room would flood after a couple of minutes. The property is obviously aware of this as the bathroom had a huge squeegee in the corner for residents to remove the water with.. but maybe it would be nice to sort out the actual problem. The ‘high speed’ WiFi was actually extremely patchy.. zoom calls dropping out, streaming very slow. Particularly during the day, it would disconnect and reconnect constantly which caused problems as I had to work on my laptop in the room. The kitchen was tiny (nice big fridge though).. I had to put the coffee machine on the floor to use it. I’m 172cm tall and I couldn’t reach one of the cupboards! Lastly, the window had only blackout curtains and no blinds, so you were either a fishbowl or had to keep them closed. Little improvements like this would make the room feel cosier.

Väldigt kallt på rummet, trots att elementen var på och AC nedsatt. På helgen var det mycket spring i korridorerna med fulla ungdomar. Ingen personal på plats på hotellet som kunde få tyst på dem.

Really appreciate the ladies in reception as they were super helpful. My partner and I had a wedding to attend to so we needed to check in earlier than 3PM, which was accommodated in a very kind way. The flat itself is very spacious and has everything you need for a couple of days. Moreover, there is a 7/11 on the corner and other places to eat around the area. It’s easy to get around by either bus or tram.

No one in reception area during 2 day stay. Locking the door needed explanation. Breakfast left in bag in front of door without any preference asked i e eggs & cheese sat outside door for 3 hours. We don’t eat either. Outside noise continued during night. Very, very disappointed with Frogner House.

my room is next to the street and with the heat and the hotel has no AC! We couldn't open the window since there is a Pub across the street and there is a night club nearby. We need to open the window to cool the room since this unit has no AC , but there were so much noise outside. Both nights we couldn't sleep until 2:30Am. Wouln't stay there even for free.

Super Lage. Die Straßenbahn 12 (Haltestelle Niels Juels Gate) hält direkt am Haus. Eine weitere Bushaltestelle (Solli) ist nur 4 min zu Fuß entfernt. Supermarkt und mehrere Bäcker in direkter Umgebung. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das Restaurant „San Francisco Bread Bowl“ im selben Haus. Unterkunft ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Da in der Nähe viele Restaurants und Bars sind impliziert dies natürlich, dass die Gehend auch abends und nachts belebt ist. Die Fenster muss man dann in der Nacht schließen. This was a perfect location for my recent stay in Oslo. I love to walk, and I found everything that I needed within walking distance, such as a wonderful yoga studio, grocery store, cafe with great coffee right downstairs, and restaurants (fantastic Indian restaurant just a block away). It's a lovely neighborhood, and Frogner park (where I went running a couple of times) is nearby. It's also walking distance from the central area (main train station) and the palace park, but if you want a break from walking, there is a subway station nearby. I had a little kitchen area in my room, which was very convenient when I didn't want to go to a restaurant. Highly recommend this location!

Our original hotel had lost our booking, so we had nowhere to stay when me and my friends arrived in Oslo for a concert. Luckily, I found this hotel - Frogner House Apartments, and I must say the service was exceptional. Me and my friends arrived 10 minutes after booking the hotel, and they arranged the room immediately and delivered an extra bed and towels quickly, since we were three people. The welcome was kind and keen, and the room had a kitchen area with fridge and dishwasher. We bought our own breakfast from the store close by, but you could order breakfast to the room if you liked. The room was airy and bright during the day, and we got a comfortable sleep during the night. I will definitelt stay at this place next time I'll be visiting Oslo; I highly recommend this hotel!

Indispensabile la fornita cucinette nei giorni festivi , quando in Norvegia è semplicemente impossibile trovare una attività commerciale aperta , sia alimentare o quant'altro Excellent quality/price ratio (which doesn't hurt in Oslo) for this structure which offers "à la carte" many services of a traditional hotel while others are guaranteed. Very good location and structure. The well-stocked kitchenettes are essential on holidays, when in Norway it is simply impossible to find an open business, be it food or anything else.

Bodde i ett rum högst upp i huset och där var det väldigt varmt, dessutom var golvvärmen på i badrummet som eldade på temperaturen lite extra. Till frukostpåsen hade jag önskat lite bättre och mer kaffe än en portion fystorkat kaffe per person. Men annars var det bra. Rum/fönster ut mot den tystare gatan utan spårvagn var ett plus då man såklart ville sova med öppet fönster.

I found the hotel too noisy now in the summer when you wish to sleep with open windows. There is a lot of tramways passing until late in the night and from very early morning which makes it hard to sleep with open windows.

The apartment is located in a quiet, pleasant residential area, very close to a tram stop, supermarket and other amenities. The weather very hot during our stay, but there was no a/c and the two fans could not really cope - the apartment has large, south-facing windows. We were unsure about the remote access, etc, and we did not see any staff there, but everything worked well and we would recommend this property.

Nice location and the building could be or once was nice but the excruciating heat and noise in the rooms was unbearable. The office is only contactable during the day and whilst they make some effort to help it is minimal. The cleanliness and maintenance definitely need work. We booked a large room but only one of the four large windows opened onto a very noisy street. The replacement room offered was on another street, much smaller and just as hot and noisy. Our room was hotter than the hallway outside and the maintenance people even commented on this. Ventilation is wholly absent. Very few sockets in strange places. Various maintenance issues. I recommend the area but stay elsewhere. Keeping rooms at such temperatures should be against the law. Tiny fan supplied but recirculates the hot air.
