Hotel muito limpo, novo, recepção e funcionários extremamente solícitos e simpáticos. Localização excelente. De carro o centro fica bem perto, a pé 15 minutos de uma caminhada agradável. Café da manhã muito bom. O estacionamento tem uma entrada bastante estreita, mas perfeitamente possível de manobrar. Bastante seguro.

Muy bien situada a 5 mins de la terminal de trenes y 10 mins del área de interés histórico y de convivencia Hotel cómodo, limpio y con buffet estilo europeo básico El estacionamiento es pequeño y los lugares angostos. Accès au parking privé un peu laborieux car sonnette ne semble pas très opérationnelle et place peu large. Bon point en revanche : une grille ferme l’accès la nuit ! Chambre familiale sous les combles au 7eme étage hyper spacieuse mais manque cruellement de mobilier pour poser ses affaires, habits, etc… un comble quand on voit la place vide dans cet espace de près de 30m2. La déco est sympa mais partagée entre rétro 70s orange et vieillotte quand on voit l’état de la moquette et du seul fauteuil en tissus cracra. Velux étanche à la lumière du matin tres appréciable (et rare…). Très grand lit 180 pour les parents mais lit nettement moins confort pour les enfants. La télé ne permet pas de l’orienter sinon elle se coupe car fils trop courts derrière, dommage. Petit déjeuner avec du personnel qui ne salue pas le matin et assez basique avec peu de choix, notamment les jus : orange avec presseur automatique donc pas froid à défaut d’être tres frais du coup. Jus de pomme pas frais. Beurre en vrac, Nutella en pot, etc… donc pas tres pratique car obligé de tartiner tout sur place même si plus écolo (et économique pour eux bien évidemment). Le sol du restaurant était répugnant car collait aux chaussures : si quelque chose avait été renversé, un coup de nettoyage rapide aurait été plus que bienvenue. Personnel à l’accueil tres agréable. Sortie du parking impossible sans retourner à l’accueil car on ne nous avait pas donné le code, dommage. Séjour globalement agréable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction blocking the main route to the parking but the hotel made us aware of this a few days ahead of time and also gave us an alternative route. The breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable.

Perfektes Übergangshotel für die Reise quer durch Frankreich mit der Familie. Sehr nettes Personal, erstaunlich gutes Restaurant im Hotel - und nicht nur nebenbei ist Tours auch noch eine schöne Stadt. Einfach mit einem Uber zur Kathedrale und ein bißchen die Gegend erkunden. Sehr schön und empfehlenswert.

Staff were brilliant and spoke excellent English even though I did try to speak French! Confusing instructions on Hotels.com re. parking which ask you to phone and reserve and when I rang the hotel, they told me we don't have to ring and reserve parking, just turn up. A bit difficult to know here the Ibis car park is and how to get into it, as there is a ground floor open air one and then a basement one which both look a bit narrow to get into. We double-parked and went into ask and I spoke to a really helpful young man on reception who told us what to do to open the barrier and were able to find a space in the open air car park. One member of staff, Fatoumata, deserves special mention. She went above and beyond to help me when I gave a complicated request to try and track down some perfume I wanted to buy for my mother which she had bought on a previous trip at a visitor centre for a chateau. She rang the property and waited patiently for about 20mins for them to answer. She finally spoke to someone in the gift shop for me to enquire about the perfume - as it was complicated I couldn't have managed with my standard of French language! It saved us driving out there 40mins to find out they no longer sold the perfume so I am so grateful she went above and beyond to help with my slightly odd request. Went to the restaurant around the corner Au Coin Gourmand - fantastic and wonderful steak with super wine. We felt the Ibis restaurant a little pricy for the food on offer.

She went above and beyond to help me when I gave a complicated request to try and track down some perfume I wanted to buy for my mother which she had bought on a previous trip at a visitor centre for a chateau. She finally spoke to someone in the gift shop for me to enquire about the perfume - as it was complicated I couldn't have managed with my standard of French language! It saved us driving out there 40mins to find out they no longer sold the perfume so I am so grateful she went above and beyond to help with my slightly odd request. Went to the restaurant around the corner Au Coin Gourmand - fantastic and wonderful steak with super wine. We felt the Ibis restaurant a little pricy for the food on offer.

Hotel muito limpo, novo, recepção e funcionários extremamente solícitos e simpáticos. Localização excelente. De carro o centro fica bem perto, a pé 15 minutos de uma caminhada agradável. Café da manhã muito bom. O estacionamento tem uma entrada bastante estreita, mas perfeitamente possível de manobrar. Bastante seguro.

Accès au parking privé un peu laborieux car sonnette ne semble pas très opérationnelle et place peu large. Bon point en revanche : une grille ferme l’accès la nuit ! Chambre familiale sous les combles au 7eme étage hyper spacieuse mais manque cruellement de mobilier pour poser ses affaires, habits, etc… un comble quand on voit la place vide dans cet espace de près de 30m2. La déco est sympa mais partagée entre rétro 70s orange et vieillotte quand on voit l’état de la moquette et du seul fauteuil en tissus cracra. Velux étanche à la lumière du matin tres appréciable (et rare…). Très grand lit 180 pour les parents mais lit nettement moins confort pour les enfants. La télé ne permet pas de l’orienter sinon elle se coupe car fils trop courts derrière, dommage. Petit déjeuner avec du personnel qui ne salue pas le matin et assez basique avec peu de choix, notamment les jus : orange avec presseur automatique donc pas froid à défaut d’être tres frais du coup. Jus de pomme pas frais. Beurre en vrac, Nutella en pot, etc… donc pas tres pratique car obligé de tartiner tout sur place même si plus écolo (et économique pour eux bien évidemment). Le sol du restaurant était répugnant car collait aux chaussures : si quelque chose avait été renversé, un coup de nettoyage rapide aurait été plus que bienvenue. Personnel à l’accueil tres agréable. Sortie du parking impossible sans retourner à l’accueil car on ne nous avait pas donné le code, dommage. Séjour globalement agréable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction blocking the main route to the parking but the hotel made us aware of this a few days ahead of time and also gave us an alternative route. The breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable.

Perfektes Übergangshotel für die Reise quer durch Frankreich mit der Familie. Sehr nettes Personal, erstaunlich gutes Restaurant im Hotel - und nicht nur nebenbei ist Tours auch noch eine schöne Stadt. Einfach mit einem Uber zur Kathedrale und ein bißchen die Gegend erkunden. Sehr schön und empfehlenswert.
Perfektes Übergangshotel für die Reise quer durch Frankreich mit der Familie. Staff were brilliant and spoke excellent English even though I did try to speak French! Confusing instructions on Hotels.com re. parking which ask you to phone and reserve and when I rang the hotel, they told me we don't have to ring and reserve parking, just turn up. A bit difficult to know here the Ibis car park is and how to get into it, as there is a ground floor open air one and then a basement one which both look a bit narrow to get into. We double-parked and went into ask and I spoke to a really helpful young man on reception who told us what to do to open the barrier and were able to find a space in the open air car park. We stayed here for one night as a stop-over break on our journey to Southern France and Tours is a great place to relax and eat out. This hotel was in very good condition, very clean, friendly staff right in the centre of the city with off-road secure parking. We had a family room, which was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included for free in the price which made it very good value and the children were able to eat well with lots of choice. Checking in/out was very straightforward. The only reason it wasn’t a 5* review was that we would have liked some drink making facilities in the room to make coffee/tea which isn’t much to ask for. Otherwise a very good cost effective hotel to stay.
