Nice room and outside swimming pool, decent breakfast. The concierge was super helpful with finding and communicating to local taxi drivers. The location is a bit outside of the center at a huge road. If you want to cross, there is a bridge about 5 minutes away

Liked the location and ambience of the property. Food quality was acceptable. But the interiors looked very run down. Window curtain in the shower area looked dirty and soiled. Interior cleaning was shabby. Left over cups were still lying in the refrigerator. None of the programs were working on the TV.

Mold present in bathroom on privacy curtain. This could lead to allergies and other ailments. This was reported earlier to the Housekeeping Manager when I stayed there for the first time a few days ago in a different room. Obviously, no attention paid.

Stayed here for 2 weeks on a family trip to India. Very clean, prompt service. Sujit Chatterjee from housekeeping was awesome - provided mosquito repellent for bites outside hotel, came everyday to check if we needed something. We asked if he can recommend a box to pack for shipping. He went over his normal duties to find a couple of empty boxes from the hotel and even gave us tape! Overall impeccable service from Sujit and hotel staff, front desk, travel desk. Very close to heart of city. Lots of items at breakfast buffet with live music. Most are good except for a couple of items like potato curry for Poori, Pongal - I tasted better items at other restaurants. Excellent shower, clean bathrooms. We got connecting rooms for the kids. Our room oversaw the busy road and metro but NEVER heard any honks or other sounds. Best soundproof hotel I have been in so far. Highly recommend the hotel any day!

large clean rooms with great housekeeping. Everyone on the staff from the front doo, reception and restaurants were very courteous and helpful. Could not find a fault unless you look outside the front gate at the nightmare of traffic, but that is hardly their fault

I stayed at the property recently for 3 months. While the property is getting a bit old, however, management seems to try its best in the upkeep and maintenance. Room sizes are a bit small, and ceiling lights are not sufficient, leaving corners of the room dark. Makes the room look even smaller than it is. The staff was good and friendly. Yet, there is a problem in communication. At times what they promise will be done, doesn't get done. Perhaps, a result of over promising, not understanding the situation, and complete forgetfulness. Something I did not expect from the Taj group. For example, a major source of frustration for me was trying to get the hotel to post the Tata Neu Rewards to my account for my stay. Despite my constant reminder on numerous occasions and getting false promises from the hotel every time, that it'll be resolved shortly, my rewards points have yet to be credited to my account. Needless to say one would expect this basic task would have been done automatically. Yet, it seemed to be a herculean task. And now that I've checked out of the hotel, I have no more updates as to what and why the problem has not been resolved. Out-of-sight, out-of-mind I guess! I do travel to India often each year and stay for 2 months at a stretch, I have decided if the issue is not resolved in the near future, I will not be staying at Vivanta or at the Taj group any more. There are now equal or better accommodation options and service in Hyderabad now.

Was given a weird room with a wardrobe in the bathroom. WiFi was awful, and didn’t work properly. The service was slow. While I was there they upgraded their computer system and this messed up my bill and checkout. Really cannot recommend

We had an awesome stay here. We had multiple special needs - early check in, accessibility stuff. The staff went above and beyond to assist and accommodate us.
