Our Junior Suite had a view over the Old Town out the back of the hotel, which was great. The hotel is on the edge of the Old Town and just 2 minutes’ walk from the Riga Market - perfect for sightseeing. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary small bottles of water (one still, one carbonated) but everything else in the mini fridge is chargeable. The food at the Lobby Bar is very good … and so is the Latvian beer! Parking is an extra charge, but not unreasonable. Overall, nice hotel in a great location.

The atrium view room was clean, comfortable and quiet, but without natural light. Staff was friendly. The jacuzzi and salt sauna were nice but the main pool was just too cold for us at 28C! Breakfast was good.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice, even including sparkling wine for a touch of luxury (we didn’t try it though). The food was tasty overall and the staff were friendly and welcoming. You have to pay for parking, but this was clearly mentioned in the description, so no surprises there. The only unusual thing in my view was that even though the room is offered for three people, an extra bed for a child comes at an additional cost. From what I’ve seen in other hotel descriptions, this seems to be quite common in Riga hotels. Overall, a very positive experience – good service, tasty breakfast, and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a place I would recommend and stay again.

Although this is a large hotel all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. There is very little shelf space in the bathroom and it was shower over bath so you have to climb into it. Can be an issue if you have mobility difficulties. There is a small but well laid out gym, with weight and cardio machines. I was the only person in there. Breakfast was a large selection and very nice. No toaster though. No toast for breakfast :-( Hotel is located on the edge of the old town and across the road from the central market. Very convenient to get around from. Bus to the airport stops outside as well. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was great. Very clean. Good breakfast. Very kind and competent staff. The only thing it was not good was the noise isolation of the room. Our neighbors made love for about 2 hours ( my compliments!) in a very noisy and loud way. After that they laughed and talked in a very loud way until 3 am... I couldn\'t sleep and at 5 am i "woke up". Another thing a bit annoying was the minibar locked and the note telling to not put anything personal inside. Anyway the overall experience was really nice.

Excellent hotel. Very clean and warm. Staff very helpful and friendly. Tremendous choice at breakfast. Ideally positioned to explore the city and with very easy access to and from the airport via the local bus route. Highly recommend.

Sehr gute Lage, die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer ist klein und hat wenig Abstellflächen, und kleine Schimmelflecken in der Dusche. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet .

Trevligt hotell centralt i gamla stan. Vi bodde 5 nätter på hotellet och är i allmänhet nöjda men det kunde varit bättre daglig städning. Två dagar gick städerskorna inte ens in i rummet och vi fick be om nya handdukar trots att dom låg på golvet. Hotellet ligger några minuters promenad från Gamla stans mittpunkt och det kändes skönt att kunna gå därifrån när festen var i fullt ställ. I övrigt var vistelsen kanonbra!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the room was wonderful. The only issue we had was with some confusion regarding booking at taxi to pick us up from the airport, but that was a minor thing (and as we ended up getting a different taxi the hotel removed this from our bill). Location wise it is very close to the Old Town, so you can walk to many of the major tourist attractions. 5 stars!

This is a motel not a hotel. The carpet in the room was stained. The had a singular usb 1 wall charger that took 6 hrs to charge up the phone. The bed was child sized. The shower was also extremely small. One tiny soap bar and 2 tiny shower gels. The entrance is right next a big bus stop, it's noisy, dirty, and completely avoidable. Do yourself a favour and choose a different option.

Aircondition fungerte ikke, så ble veldig varmt på rommet med rundt 30 grader ute. Dopapir var veldig løst, så satte seg fast på de merkeligste steder.Ellers greit nok. Noe støy fra jernbanen.

Bra hotell placerat nära sevärdheter. Rent och snyggt. Ett något ovant rumsutseende med en trappa ner till själva rummet men ok ur alla synpunkter. Som på alla hotell, en god och omfattande frukost.

Funktionales, sauberes Hotelzimmer mit schönem Blick (8. Stock) auf die Markthallen. Das Bett war bequem. Geschätzt haben wir den Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ( nan konnte das Fenster nur" kippen "), war die Straße, Straßenbahn und die Züge gut zu hören. Aber es hat uns nicht weiter gestört, auch nicht nachts. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Sehr guter Kaffee! Due lage des Hotels ist sehr praktisch, nur wenige Minuten in die Altstadt. Der Bus zum Flughafen hält fast direkt vir dem Hotel. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden!

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was conveniently located near the Central Market and Old Town. Also close to the bus stop to the airport and not far from the train station. My only issue was that I couldn’t seem to adjust the room temperature, so it was a little colder for my liking. Otherwise no complaints.

This is a really wonderful hotel. The staff at this hotel are exceptional. Wonderful reception staff and easy, friendly and helpful checkin. This is the first hotel we have stayed at that has honoured our VIP Gold perks so we received a room upgrade to a suite and a complementary bottle of wine. The room was fabulous, beds and pillows comfortable, bathroom an excellent size and shower pressure good. All amenities are provided in room - fridge, safe, tea and coffee making facilities. WIFI was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful with an excellent selection. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant but the location is right next to the old town with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station, trams are out the front and the markets are across the road. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect until the day of checkout….we had a great stay and the evening staff was excellent, the staff at the breakfast bar were marvellous, however this all goes into drain now because the blonde girl at the reception from the morning shift was quite rude and patronising, hence I wouldn’t visit this hotel again.

I don't recommend this hotel. I was treated badly by the bar employee and the receptionists. They didn't let me drink my soft drink at the hotel reception, I just wanted to recharge my cell phone a little before continuing my tour of the city and I ended up being humiliated by the employees.

It was over all a good experience, excellent location and friendly staff. We had booked and paid for half board which meant that we were supposed to be provided (probably buffet) dinner in their restaurant. They did not have it in their record but after some investigation they found that we had paid for the dinner. We had booked and paid for half board which meant that we were supposed to be provided (probably buffet) dinner in their restaurant. They did not have it in their record but after some investigation they found that we had paid for the dinner. Reception service is very slow. They cut staff so the poor girl is all alone at the reception. It’s not her fault but they need to put more staff at the reception so that the service is not slow. Bathroom is renovated but the room is out dated. It’s clean so that’s a good thing.

The hotel itself was perfectly fine. Rooms were clean, it's in a decent location and parking was right outside, if a little limited. My problem with this hotel was the staff and management. When we arrived, we had just found out we needed to cancel the last of the three nights we had booked, We were told that we needed to do that on Hotels.com. So I contacted Hotels.com only to be told that this wasn't the case and hotels.com would contact the hotel on our behalf to cancel the last night. Then the following day I received an email saying that the hotel management had refused this request without giving a reason. Considering that I had made the booking on the basis of being able to cancel the whole thing right up to the day of check-in, I found this to be unreasonable. In addition, the next evening we had to carry out some technical engineering and the bar was the only place to do this. We did buy some beer as we did so, and the barman was fine, but then a man I assume to be the night manager turned up and then complained to us rather than attempting to find out what we were doing and dealing with it in a professional manner. He also asked us to move our vehicle to a different spot and stood and watched us whilst we rearranged our boot space ready for the next day. Overall, the attitude of staff throughout the hotel was not to the standard I would expect, particularly with the refusal to cancel the final night. As a result, we won't be staying there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the room was wonderful. The only issue we had was with some confusion regarding booking at taxi to pick us up from the airport, but that was a minor thing (and as we ended up getting a different taxi the hotel removed this from our bill). Location wise it is very close to the Old Town, so you can walk to many of the major tourist attractions. 5 stars!

The hotel is pretty nice and the location is perfect as it is just at the edge of the old city with all the sights, all the nice restaurants and the shopping area. The staff is very friendly, the bartender in the Lobby bar, the cleaning staff and in the reception. Except for 1 blond lady in the reception who was extremely unfriendly and rude, we had a great stay and enjoyed the hotel and Riga.

This hotel is in a perfect location for all sorts of activities in Riga, the bus to the airport is just outside, Old Town is around the corner, the Market is seen from the windows. I honestly think if it had a pool, it would be classed as the five star property as everything there is 5*!

We stayed for 3 nights on December 29th, 30th and 31st as a family of 4. We were told that dinner was included in the plan, but they suddenly said that they couldn't provide it. However, when we arrived on the day, we were given a voucher for a nearby restaurant of the same chain. The service at that restaurant is not so good, so I don't recommend it. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent, with a variety of dishes and delicious food. The room is small, but comfortable and clean. You can see Riga's bus terminal and market from the room. It's a great location, 5-10 minutes walk from the old town, and supermarkets and malls are within walking distance. This is a recommended hotel in Riga.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice, even including sparkling wine for a touch of luxury (we didn’t try it though). The food was tasty overall and the staff were friendly and welcoming. You have to pay for parking, but this was clearly mentioned in the description, so no surprises there. The only unusual thing in my view was that even though the room is offered for three people, an extra bed for a child comes at an additional cost. From what I’ve seen in other hotel descriptions, this seems to be quite common in Riga hotels. Overall, a very positive experience – good service, tasty breakfast, and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a place I would recommend and stay again.

This place is simply amazing value for moneu if you take the half board option. Our half board stay for £63 in off season was amazing. The two course meal at dinner was 5 star quality. Absolutely delicious and breakfast was wonderful. The bed was so comfy. The bath was really large.
