The hotel was great. However, upon checking in we found out the fourth floor was under construction. We were going to try the pool so st that particular moment it wasn’t a big deal. While down at the pool I asked the front desk how long the construction would last as it was already 5pm. He said that they were required to stop at 6pm which was all good. The construction continued until after 8pm. With a young child trying to rest from a long road trip this was unfortunately very difficult to deal with.

We couldn’t believe how great this hotel was for the price. The staff was so great- especially Wanda during the happy hour. Cold complimentary drinks, great hot breakfast, comfy beds, and the pool area was great. We can tell why it had such good ratings as we were booking.

It was a good stop for a break on a long trip home. Our kids were disappointed the pool wasn’t open. There was also no manager reception when it said there would be online. Decent rooms and breakfast.

Very clean, modern hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was always friendly. Breakfast was good. Pool is heated and felt clean. Only downside was the hot tub was down, but no big deal. Would definitely stay here again!

I think this seems like a great property but the pool is out of service. I completely understand that that happens but we actually booked this for the pool. I am very disappointed that they did not tell us it was being worked on. I would have booked somewhere else. The staff apologized but honestly paid a lot of money to be offered the pool across the parking lot in the next hotel.

Was very unhappy w the poor breakfast experience. The remodeling of the breakfast area was in process which was not mentioned when making the reservation. The bed was so uncomfortable that I ended up laying on the couch. My husband and I have been coming to this area for our anniversary the last 40 some years and never had a problem. Even the lobby area was being worked on. Couldn’t even sit on what looked like very comfy chairs and couch. I usually don’t have negative reviews. But felt like this needed to be said.

The pool was closed for maintenance which was a pretty big inconvenience since that is the only reason we got a room. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and tried her best to help, we were able to go to the hotel across the road for their pool but it still sucked to go back and forth in the cold.

The accommodations were wonderful. The only negative was someone had not dumped the water out of the Keurig machine in the room and mold was growing in it. We went downstairs for the breakfast so we didn’t use it however those need to be monitored and dumped/cleaned. The staff was gracious and I would recommend this hotel.

We had a quick girls night away and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the room was nice and well maintained. I did notice the tub in the bathroom could use some caulk work/deeper clean, but nothing too bad at all. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! We were very pleased with the stay!

The hotel is very clean, beds were comfortable and the location of the hotel was in a nice convenient area for shopping and food. My only complaint was the rooms not being very soundproof, I could hear the level above me stomping on the floor most of the night, and my room was on the second floor right outside the firepit area and I could hear people outside drinking and partying late into the night. They supposedly have a quiet time that's supposed to be between the hours of 10pm and 6 am but that wasn't the case at this hotel. They're was a lot of young people staying at this hotel the night I booked , running up and down the halls late at night slamming doors constantly and loud talking in the halls. This is the first Holiday Inn Express that didn't have very good sound barriers. Everything else this hotel offers was great.

Nice and quiet place. The hotel is a little bit outdated. Our room didn’t look like it was vacuumed. The remote control didn’t work. Breakfast was okay. The swimming pool was small enough for our three kids to swim.

This was an overnight stop for us. Our room was fairly clean, though there was a left over towel from the group before on the back of the bathroom door. It kind of makes me question how clean everything else was, but everything looked fine. We did have noisy neighbors who were laughing and talking loudly at 1 am. We called the front desk and they were quick to respond. We had a quiet stay the rest of the night. Super helpful and kind staff.

Very clean facility, can't say enough about that. From keeping the grounds clean to inside the hotel. Outstanding customer service at front desk to the staff we encountered. Breakfast was nice and staff again so friendly. Breakfast had a nice variety and area was spotless clean. Love that they have full size shampoo etc in the bathrooms.

Okay. I will start with the only gripe I have about the property. The shower heads could be better. I wish you could asjust them for better water flow/direction. Everything else is excellent. Perfect even. I had a 2 queen bed suite and it was just what I needed for a working vacation. The beds were super comfy. The room was clean and very spacious. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is really good. The hotel is close to shopping (Indiana Premium Outlets) and tons of food choices. Its right off the 65. You really cant ask for a better location. Its quiet and safe and the hotel offers free parking. Thorntons is a convenient gas station/mini mart right on the corner that has really good coffee and cappuccinos. I travel to the Edinburgh area a few times a year and can highly recommend this hotel.

The closet had a light above the cabinet. It was turned on. I fell asleep with the TV on and when I woke up to turn off the cabinet light I couldn't find the switch. I believe it was on when I checked in and it was daylight out, so I didn't notice. I searched ten minutes for the switch. It was al small round button on the side of the cabinet that I finally found. Needless to say by that time I was wired and it took an hour to go back to sleep. The master switch did not turn it off.

The only critique I have is that the walls were a little thin and you could hear people talking on the phone in the next room or a child crying a few rooms down. But really, that is every hotel and this place was amazing!

We were heading to Indiana from Tennessee for my grandmother‘s funeral. 20 minutes from this hotel, our car broke down. After getting it towed to the hotel, we realized it was a pretty lengthy fix and the hotel staff was very kind to allow us to extend our check out so that we had a place to stay while it was getting fixed. They were more than helpful and everything.

Holiday inn express is one of the cleanest budget chains in my experience and has a pretty good breakfast. Per usual hotel was super clean, staff was friendly but the mattress was very uncomfortable and the breakfast wasnt as good as usual but overall a great stay

Beware of hidden charges and fees. We booked through Expedia and paid for our room in full almost three months in advance. We go to check in and the night receptionist refused to check us in unless I paid an additional “FEE” for the potential destruction of the room. We have never done such a thing and never would. The attitudes of the staff at this facility in Edenburg, Indiana are extremely snobbish to put it mildly. I would not recommend a stay here again. 30 more minutes and you will be in Indianapolis.

The customer service is not great here! They are doing construction here and the breakfast was not great. I paid more because of the reviews on hotel.com but it really is very deceiving. Hotels.com did not disclose that renovations were happening. I booked a non refundable room not realizing what I was going to deal with. When you use this hotel, if there is any problem with the room they put you in and you want to change, if you booked here on Hotels.com they will not accommodate you because you “booked 3rd” party. You now become a subpar guest. Please keep this in mind.

Room was very clean. Bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. It was nice and quiet, even with a room full of kids next door who were having a birthday party. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever seen at a hotel! Location was great. Right off the highway with shopping and food all within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

It’s in a great area within walking distance of great restaurants, the Premium Outlets and the antique mall which is GREAT! Super close to the highway as well which makes it easy to get back on if you’re traveling. The room is a great size as well! Highly recommended

I have used this hotel a couple of times in a very good location close to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is very clean. No issues whatsoever would definitely stay there again highly recommend it. They really have a good breakfast too

Stopped for 1 night while passing through. Lots of restaurants close by. Located very close to the mall. The hotel was clean. The kids used the indoor pool. The breakfast was great, lots of choices and seating. They even had gluten free muffins. Staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
