Luxury accomodations, city/park views, delicious dining, premium spa/gym/pool amenities and, most memorably, 5-star service throughout our stay. We brought a family of four to cheer my wife through her sixth world major marathon and the Palace Hotel provided a welcoming and comfortable home during our stay. This was one of the best experiences we've had anywhere in the world. The attention to detail and care demonstrated throughout our stay was an incredible way of experiencing Japanese culture. Highly-recommended without hesitation.

The Palace hotel was a luxury splurge for us to wrap up a first trip to Tokyo. It was worth every penny. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very supportive. Though it ended up only at $20/day per person, for me the spa was not worth it. Especially the women's side only has a small sauna and bath.

This hotel is most attractive for foreign tourists or business persons.\u3000English speaking staff are very kind and friendly. Families with kids may have some frustration because of some restrictions to swimming pool and restaurant. But it is OK.

Beautiful hotel with great views of the city. Layout, size and comfort of room are what you would expect of a 5* hotel as was the quality of the food served to us in the bar. The Wagu steak was exceptional! During our holiday, we stayed at three 5* hotels, two of which were in Tokyo. I can honestly say that this is the only hotel of the three that I would return to!

This is a fantastic hotel overlooking the grounds of the Imperial Palace. Everything about this hotel is first rate. The concierge was especially helpful; kind, patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful for first time visitors to Tokyo. The restaurants are outstanding and the bars offer different options in comfortable settings. Very highly recommended.

I was assigned room 921. As I walked in, I felt to pressured as it was a triangle corner room with very strange layout. You shall watch out for any floor with room number ending with 21. It’s surely not a top pick for the price we paid. Go and ask for a square room.

I don't write a lot of reviews but this stay was exceptional. Location is directly across the (busy) street from the Imperial Palace which is beautiful. Great place to walk around and the trees and the landscape is quite pretty. Form the moment you walk into the hotel you are greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Lobby is understated but large and open with a quiet energy. We had a balcony room which was incredible. Balcony looked East over a park area adjacent to the palace. Bed was huge! Much larger than a king. Automatic drapes on Balcony and bathroom. Very spacious room with great amenities. I would highly recommend this property. It's not cheap but its worth it. Good gym (with a view overlooking Imperial Palace) Some equipment was a bit odd but plenty to get in a good sweat. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes, fried fish, juices, cut fruit etc. Would definitely stay here again when I return. Worked with concierge to procure sumo tickets before our arrival which worked well. Dinner recommendations were sub par but that is the only negative to our stay.

The hotel itself is great. Great restaurants, impeccable service.. but for me the location was too far from the subway sta. Actually one can go to the train sta.via hotels basement but to actually get to the train, it's a long way. I had a delux room with a balcony. The room was much smaller than I expected and even with all the lights on, it was too dark. There was hardly room to move around comfortably. I have stayed at other 5 star hotels in the area such as Peninsula , Fourseasons, Park Hyatt, and Ritz Carlton, And the rooms were more spacious and pleasant. I just felt rather crowded.

Palace, Hotel Tokyo is hotel perfection. The hotel itself is gorgeous. It is kept in meticulous condition. The staff goes above and beyond to help you. The food is excellent. The rooms are clean and extremely quiet. The area is lovely. This was my second stay there. I cannot wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Palace Hotel, we had a good welcome. The location is great opposite the Palace Gardens and a 5 minute walk from the main station. The hotel and the station are connected underground saving having to walk through the sun which is really handy. Like lots of places there are lots of underground shops and restaurants. There is a coffee shop nearby but its quiet as a lot of the local area is the palace and parks/gardens. The coffee shop has a nice garden too. We ate breakfast and one dinner at the hotel. The Japanese breakfast was really interesting and not something we had tried before. Staff were really helpful with our dietary requirements, going out of their way to help us. The rooms were a good size and the balconies were great with a lovely view of the city and gardens. I particularly liked the view at night with the city lights.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at! right in front of the imperial palace and spectacular views of the tokyo skyline from our spacious and super clean and modern room. The staff however, were the highlight, everything we requested and asked for was met quickly, and going above and beyond in some cases! I asked the staff downstairs if they can help me in finding baby goods for our son, they called up multiple chemists and supermarkets to ask and find out if they stocked the items we need. This is going to be top of our list to stay in next time we come to Tokyo!

A very impressive property with high-class Tokyo-style service. Staff is everywhere and always ready to answer your questions. The location is right across the street from the Imperial Palace and sits above the very convenient Otemachi metro station and an eight-minute walk from the Tokyo station.

Exceptional stay at the Palace hotel, service was immaculate. The room was large with beautiful view of Mt Fuji in the distance and overlooking the Imperial Palace and park. The hotel is in the CBD so it's pretty quiet and corporate so you need to travel a little for the buzz and choices of restaurants but it's very close to Tokyo Central station you can get anywhere easily

I like a very quiet, clean, good nick hotel. This hotel clearly fits. I was pretty jet lagged and didn't appreciate someone banging on the door for turndown service right after I got to sleep. There was a do not disturb button I couldn't see in the dark but it worked once I found it. The Japanese restaurants were probably good but I couldn't get a reservation when I wanted and probably looked too shabby to get in without one. I'm pretty much a peasant and look like one. Next time I'll go back to the imperial. Rather than so much staff on the ground floor, I appreciated their floor ladies with whom I could more easily/personally interface. Not to dis the palace staff, they were all very nice and perfectly groomed, just all clustered on the ground floor. Views of the palace grounds were not to be beat and the room HVAC was perfect and quiet. Since I am a birdwatcher, proximity to the palace grounds was wonderful. Also nice having a metro station in the basement along with a 7/11. Easy walk to Tokyo station. There's an apothecary in a nearby building.

This hotel has a great location, excellent service, and comfortable rooms. I stayed twice on my most recent trip to Tokyo, once at the beginning of the trip and once at the end. During my stays, I ate at the tempura restaurant, the teppanyaki restaurant, and the sushi restaurant. The first two were excellent and enjoyable. The same was not true of the sushi restaurant. The overall atmosphere was highly unwelcoming. The head sushi chef spent his time drinking sake with Japanese customers and treated other customers somewhat rudely. This restaurant does not live up to the standards of the Palace Hotel and reflects badly on the hotel.

Gorgeous room, tastefully decorated and lovely balcony with a very pleasant view of the Imperial Garden. The towels were nice and soft and bed was very comfortable. Great location close to the Tokyo Station. Staff was very attentive and helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay here.
