Vriendelijke bediening in het restaurant. De sauna is vrij te gebruiken om daarna verkoeling te zoeken in het zwembad. Toilet en douche zijn op de gang en de inrichting is gedateerd. Prima hotel om uit te rusten van een lange autorit en de volgende dag door de Gotthard tunnel door naar Italië.

Vind de accommodatie wel veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. 115 CHF voor 1 nacht in kleine kamer met gezamelijke badkamer. Waar de wc's op gebruikt werden door de mensen bij het zwembad. Maar er was niet veel keus vlakbij onze route naar huis. - ontbijt is klein maar prima. Superverse broodjes. - diner veel te duur. 21CHF voor broodje hamburger met friet en 5.20 CHF voor cola....Wel was alles smakelijk en zit he gezellig. - Let op= Er komt nog extra toeristenbelasting bij, de belasting die al bij de rekening staat is niet de toeristenbelasting zeggen ze.

The hotel itself as a whole was pretty great. The pool was always clean and cool water for hot summer days. The room was clean and plenty of towels available. The shared bathroom and shower were great and clean. Breakfast was continental and with good enough variety. We dont drink coffee but the owners offered fresh coffee. We didnt eat dinner or lunch at their restaurant as we were out and about during those hours. The property is well maintained, and in a beautiful spot! Very close to the gondola lift, and that was amazing. Very few people in the area speak English though, so come prepared to use a translation app or interpreter if you have one. The only negatives were that there is no air movement in the rooms - so it was warm and humid, no A/C, no fan. To counter that at least we could open the window, and it is pretty cool at night. And, though the facility is non-smoking inside, the other people visiting would smoke right outside the door to the pool and then leave that door wide open, so all the smoke/smell came in and our room was also right by the pool, so we got the smoke smell either through the window or through our door and couldnt escape it if we were there.

Excellent value hotel - clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool looked nice (unfortunately, it was raining, so we didn't get to take advantage of it). Staff was friendly. Breakfast is typical German/Swiss (Bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, juice, muesli, coffee/tea). Great stopover traveling between Germany and Italy. Free parking right out front of the building - very convenient!

Praktische Lage wenn man unterwegs ist Richtung Gotthard. Schön und ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind schlicht und praktisch eingerichtet. Der kleine Pool ist tool. Die syntetischen Bettdecken waren eher hart und umbequem. Das Frühstück war super, auf Voranmeldung wurde vegane Milch und Joghurt angeboten. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich.

Chosen as a reasonably priced hotel for a one night stop between france and Italy. Family run and open since the 1920s. An older style property but style very much in keeping with the local area. Clean and tidy throughout and bar/restaurant appears popular with locals. Staff were friendly and accomodating. The hotel restaurant is closed on a Wednesday evening however there are a number of local restaurants nearby and staff were happy to provide directions and recommendations. Breakfast was traditional and plenty of options for even my fussy teenager. Would happily stay here again.

Personale gentile ma non parlava inglese (solo tedesco). Stanza con il soffitto molto basso, per fortuna non siamo molto alti, clienti più alti potrebbero avere problemi. Le lenzuola erano pulite ma parecchio usurate.

Hotel was found to be locked and nobody was inside. Even though hotel booking was confirmed by Expedia, received a message from the hotel that rooms were not available on date of stay. It was very confusing and disappointing but still drove there to find all access doors locked. Had to knock on the door but no response and had to call the property a couple of times to get the front door unlocked eventually. bed sheets had a lot of hair littered on them, looked never cleaned before the room was assigned to us. room had no fan or A/C. However, breakfast and views were fantastic.

When we arrived at 9:56pm on Christmas Day (12/25/2022), there was no one at the location. I spent more than 5 minutes, tried to get human being to speak, finally the wife & husband opened the door, told us to get out of the building, we showed them our reservation, they asked us to look for other hotel to stay for the night. They were very rude, said they did not speak English. We called police office, then, police office spoke to them, then, they gave use a room, which had no heat. They blamed Expedia. I sent message to the hotel around 9:30pm when we arrived the local bus station, & told them we were on the way. They said the later arrive till 22:00pm, but, no one were there at that time on Christmas Day. From reservation said: breakfast time from 7:00am to 10:00am, they told us the breakfast is 8:00am to 9:00am.

Our room had vey weak wifi sugnal ,we were locked out around 9pm and called the only phone on our contact but nobody answered phone. Staff English was poor had problem communicating, credit card reader had problem to read credit card. There is no after hours reception service and only phone is local phone that nobody answers.

Restaurant war während meines Besuchs geschlossen. Dies war zur Buchungszeit nicht ersichtlich. Service beim Check-in mediocre und beim Frühstück exzellent. Bettmatratze ist gut für Leute die eine weiche Matratze mögen. Bettdecke sehr schwer. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wenn Restaurant geöffnet ist sehr gut. Nicht direkt am See.

Great restaurant and family run place. The directions from Expedia website took us the long way around and we were walking. It’s a long walk from the train station. But it was a beautiful view.

We arrived late but got anyway a very good dinner. The location was good when going to the alps. Breakfast was ok but very little of everything, for example the natural yoghurt ran out already at 7.30 AM. There were no warm dishes and no vegetables. The hotel room was worn out and the bed needs upgrading.
