We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful room we were allocated, balcony with a view of the ocean, Nespresso machine, covered parking and great staff who greeted us. Close to downtown Qualicum Beach and right on the Seaside Route out of town. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

The property had a wonderful gazebo to hang out in. So quaint! I loved that they had a special area smokers were allowed to hang out. Normally, it’s a corner of a parking lot. Definitely did not feel ostracized here.

Very clean and beautiful room with sea view balcony, very friendly and helpful staff, a level 2 Tesla charger, an in-room Nespresso Virtuo machine with great coffee choices. We’ll definitely stay here again. The only downside is road noise, but it calms down at night.

Surprisingly lovely. Clean spacious rooms, welcoming in room amenities. There is an elevator for this 4 story walk up! It is worth noting if you book on line and are arriving after 6 pm you need to make arrangements for the key... I would stay here again.

All units are facing the ocean with two balconies. We enjoyed walking along the shore in the mornings when the tide is low. Place is very clean, quiet surroundings, has an elevator, & convenient location to everything. Pub across the street is a bonus.

The building is definitely older and needs updating. Furniture is old, poor shape and beat up. Lots of fake flowers and the elevator is so disgusting with the smell of urine and smoke. I would not stay here again. The road noise was loud until it got late enough for traffic to slow down. It was clean, just unfortunate that for the price you would expect the owners to invest in upgrades rather than paper doilies and a bunch of fake flowers. It wouldn’t be that hard to have matching light bulbs, newer furniture that wasn’t from the 80’s and some upgrades.

There were bugs crawling on the floor in the bathroom. Hopefully none got in our luggage. I took photos. We had to watch where we stepped. The one bed in Room 205 squeaked with every movement.

Such a lovely place! All of the rooms have a beautiful view of the water, parking is convenient and easy, and the beds were so comfortable! We were really pleased with how clean and pleasant the room was.

Jacuzzi tub very noisy, was told Not to use after 10 pm., and to cover operating button with dry washcloths because moisture could make it short out! Honeymoon suite not worth twice the normal rate. Dated decor. Although ad said housekeeping on request, was informed there was no housekeeping because of small staff. A lot of silk flowers, dated decor from 1980s. Rust on elevator, which smelled musty. Staff were friendly. Bed, linens comfy. Nespresso coffee maker well stocked. Parking was good. Balconies excellent. Location across from beach, walking path excellent. Saw whales in distance. Good restaurant across street. Next time I would get a regular room.

Beautiful property in an amazing resort area. The only downside is the property is on a very busy road, so there is lots of vehicle noise when sitting out on the balcony. Although the spectacular view goes a long way to make up for this.

We needed early checkin in order to get to a wedding. This was handled really nicely, and a cab company was recommended, which worked out very well. It's clear the people who own Casa Grande prioritize their guests' experience, and want to help in any way. It's a clean, well run establishment that I'd be happy to recommend.

We had excellent service on the phone and welcoming in person. Our kitchenette was spotless and well appointed. The view across the ocean was wonderful. We accidentally locked ourselves out early in the morning and called the number for emergency, and our hostess was there within minutes. We would not hesitate to stay again.

It was lovely to be able to get to the water. It was literally across the street. All rooms look directly out on the water. Traffic noise is a bit monotonous. Quaint rooms. Nice to have the kitchenette.

The rooms could use an overall upgrade, but we throughly enjoyed our time here. The Shady Rest Pub,Restaurant, and Liquor are within walking as are many coffee, ice cream, and food trucks along the waterfront. Dont plan on an early start and dont go looking for a table after 6pm without a prior reservation on the weekends. The island has gotten shockingly busy.

Great location. Beautiful view, nature at your doorstep. We saw deer, a bald eagle enjoying a fish, and we heard seals in the distance. Great pub across the street. Wonderful and friendly staff. Would stay again.
