Great family stay at Alfagar! Pool options are wonderful - from quiet to thr kids waterpark. Beach access is easy (lots of stairs but that's the Algarve!), property is well maintained. Our block of rooms was dated but clean and functional... Full kitchen with everything you need. Mini market on site with reasonable prices and proper grocery nearby. Fee parking on site. Restaurants have lots of options, delicious and reasonable price. Will be back!

Excellent spacious apartment, fantastic friendly staff and a jam packed kids entertainment schedule despite it being end of season. Would totally recommend as a half term sun escape. Weather was mixed but pools still manageable and indoor heated pools as an option.

We had an amazing stay at Alfagar Village, the facilities for families were excellent, and the ability to check in early and late was very much appreciated. The golf buggies to transport us and our luggage around the site was great too, as were the beautifully maintained grounds. Keep up the good work!

Résidence superbe en extérieur. Plusieurs piscines, dont une avec tobbogan. Piscine intérieur Spa superbe. L'hôtel est très grand avec plusieurs restaurants. Le bémol c'est que nous avons eu un appartement non rénové donc pas très beau et pas très propre. Déçu au vu des photos. Proche de la plage avec accès direct.

Personne ne nous a avisé que l'ont devait payer 10 euros pour jouer au tennis. Sur un terrain pas entretenu et en mauvais état. Nous jouons au tennis dans tout nos voyages et jamais nous n'avons payer pour ça.

The hotel was run down. Both balcony doors were broken and didn’t lock. Maintenance came quickly and tried to fix the doors but the very next day I checked again and they didn’t lock. Safety is a major concern especially for someone traveling solo. The apartment had a really bad odor and I tried to mask it with air freshener but after a while you just get used to it I guess. The only benefit was that the property was steps away from the beach. Great location.

Mooi resort met prachtige parkachtige plekken rondom de appartementen. Ruim opgezet. Dichtbij de zee. Je loopt met een pad zo naar het strand. Erg netjes, zowel binnen als buiten het appartement. Leuke bediening in restaurant. Erg lekker gegeten met ruime keuze aan gerechten en iedere dag variatie door thema’s. Ook receptie erg vriendelijk. Kortom, we waren erg verrast! En zouden zeker het resort aanbevelen.

Fantastisk have/park omkring hotellet og smukkeste strand. Apartment var lidt outdated, bl.a. virkelig gammelt toilet og ikke super grundig rengøring, desuden er “service” ikke noget man går meget op i. Når vi bad om noget, fx dyner fordi der var koldt, blev vi mødt med “why?” og fik først hjælp efter tredje forespørgsel. Deres ansatte skal måske lige komme op i gear her ved sæsonstart. Ellers en sublim beliggenhed, flotte pools og flotteste klipper og strand. Husk: Rigtig mange engelske familier…

The apartment was clean and in good condition with a very well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable but the mattress on the sofa bed was uncomfortable. I couldn't see any wifi although I have been told that there's one. We only stayed for one night so I didn't complain. There was another problem. We couldn't lock the sliding door to the balcony .

Plenty of Cockroaches and the staff are indifferent and find it normal. Cockroaches also in the cutlery drawers and in the fridge! They also weirdly charge you for pool towels and then charge you to change the towel too. They are expecting guests to continue using dirty towels when hygiene should be of utmost important! At such high prices per night in addition to the cockroaches the rooms were more like a cheap airbnb, very dated and the wardrobes are probably 20years old and look like the doors or drawers will fall off anytime. We reported around 40 cockroaches in the living room on the first night but they couldn’t guarantee there won’t be cockroaches if we changed rooms. That’s ridiculous for the price! We have been to the Algarve atleast 9 times in July and this is the first time we stayed at this resort, it was a massive mistake. The resort itself is fine with a good pool but all sun beds are reserved with no one on them for nearly 4 hours. We didn’t eat at the resort as it seems unhygienic and probably cockroaches in the kitchens too. Speaking to other guests at the resort we were told the restaurant food is very low standard. There are definitely cheaper and better resorts around and as we travel as a family globally few times a year, this resort is at the bottom of the list. We did read others reporting cockroaches in their reviews but we thought it would have been sorted by now but it hasn’t been sorted.

Estadia muito agradável, ficamos com uma vista de mar excecional pena a limpeza deixe um pouco a desejar e não tem máquina de lavar loiça. Reservamos com VIP Access com direito a oferta de uma garrafa de vinho, mas não recebemos nada. Ótimo para famílias tem KIDS CLUB com míni parque aquático. O restaurante Bougainvillia é muito agradável pessoal muito simpática jantamos la um sábado e tinha música ao vivo. O Aldeãmente também tem minimercado um pouco caro, mas dá para desenrascar. No geral foi bom

Desde o check-in ao check-out a equipe foi muito simpatica, atenciosa e competente. O apartamento que ficamos foi um T2 amplo com uma excelente sala/cozinha e varanda. as portas dos quartos e armários são antigas, algumas chegam a emperrar, mas nada sério. O sistema de ar condicionado não estava funcionando, mas a equipe foi muito competente e resolveu o problema rapidamente. O espaço geral é maravilhoso com muitas opções de lazer. Várias piscinas, aquecidas e não aquecidas, quadras de esportes, restaurantes e acesso à praia. Pretendemos voltar em breve.

Beautiful high floor apartment, comfy bed, kitchenette, good linen, great view, spacious bathroom. Everything we needed for a short stay. We were 'upgraded' to prestige on arrival, which was fine - i dont usually like staying in hotel blocks but it was out of season and quiet so was great. I had originally booked an apartment. Pools we didn't use but would have done if it had been rainy, we were lucky with the December weather! All the staff were warm and friendly, we had lunch in the cafeteria on arrival and enjoyed it very much. Would recommend, would stay again.

The apartment was clean and in good condition with a very well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable but the mattress on the sofa bed was uncomfortable. We booked this stay last minute as we had a busy sightseeing agenda, and felt we all need a couple days of relation. So happy we found this property. The kids had a wonderful time exploring all the pools and the resort. It was huge! Only complaint was that maids entered our room before we checked out and removed all of our items. It was very stressful. The manager assured me that shouldn’t have happened. Still was missing items that were never returned. Waiting for a resolution.

We had yet another great stay at Alfagar. Service at the food outlets were slower this time. Seems shirt staffed at the pool bars. They were disorganised at the bunganville. We addressed this with management and they appeared to have taken action.

Resort was fabulous and great for a family break. Plenty to do for the kids and plenty of sun beds. The restaurants were very disappointing and the service was very slow and we spent alot of time sitting and waiting to be served. Other than that great for the family.

The resort was beautiful with lots of lovely gardens and a number of different outdoor pools to choose from. The mini market was super convenient and had everything we needed for breakfast and lunch. We ate in the pool bar a few nights which was great for the kids with a park and a football pitch plus live music. Easy walk to the beach which was stunning. We got Ubers into the old town and to the marina for a boat trip and explore. Loved our stay, would highly recommend.

El servicio VIP es tan solo una botella de vino. Las villas tienen escasos amenities (jabón, champoo…) Tienes que pagar por las toallas de piscina, además de dejar el correspondiente depósito. El buffet es demasiado pequeño para el número de huéspedes del hotel. Los restaurantes del hotel tienen una buena carta de comidas. Variada y buen precio. Calidad buena. Las vistas desde el hotel son impresionantes. El hotel es muy agradable.
