We would especially like to thank Simon Jiang from the Concierge team and Michael Sun from Reception for their extraordinary attention, kindness, and willingness to assist us at all times. Thanks to them, we felt genuinely welcomed and received first-class service throughout our stay. Without a doubt, this hotel exceeded our expectations and left us with wonderful memories. Letter to hotel management ​Dear Management Team at The St. Regis Shenzhen, ​I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. My wife and I chose The St. Regis Shenzhen to celebrate our wedding anniversary, anticipating a luxurious and seamless experience. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a significant infrastructure failure and inadequate service response. ​We checked into the hotel on 6 June 2026. During our stay, we encountered the following serious issues: ​Sudden Utility Failure: On 7 June at 5:00 a.m., the power and air conditioning in our room cut out completely without warning, forcing us to leave the room in distress. ​Widespread Disruption: Upon reaching the 96th-floor reception, we encountered other guests experiencing similar issues, including erratic lighting failures in their rooms. The staff on duty confirmed that a significant portion of the hotel was affected by a power outage. ​Lack of Accessibility and Safety Concerns: We were informed that all elevators had ceased operation and were held at the 96th floor. This rendered us effectively stranded in the lobby. I am incredibly unsettled by the realization of how dangerous this situation could have been had we been inside an elevator when the failure occurred. ​Duration of Disruption: It was not until 5:35 a.m. that power was restored and we were able to return to our room, resulting in 35 minutes of chaos and significant loss of sleep during a special
