Hotel Riu Palace Tikida Agadir - All Inclusive

Excellent hotel but too large for us. The dining rooms were mobbed by people with heaped plates they couldn't possibly consume. Food wastage was uncomfortable to witness We won't go all inclusive again

The lobby area and outside pool area are beautiful the rooms however are tired and need refurbishment. Our room was dusty and the shower fixtures felt dirty. The location is however perfect and connected to the corniche and beach and very close to the marina and various restaurants and shops. The heater indoor pool and gym are excellent facilities. Slightly disappointed that at an all inclusive five store hotel use of the sauna required an additional charge. Once checked in we were not offered help to our rooms by a member of staff and bags and were just told which direction the rooms were despite the hotel being huge. We initially got lost and had to come back and ask for help. The food at the restaurants was average but the staff were good and were constantly cleaning up and providing drinks. Pool side views from the room were stunning. The hotel rooms however were very spacious and I imagine when initially fitted out very stylish. No gowns were provided or slippers which was surprising. The TV had lots of channels which was great. We did however very much enjoy our stay there and would definitely come back and the hotel from the outside was definitely the most stunning and largest on the corniche and we would not have stayed at any other hotel. The seating in the lobby area was spectacular and we enjoyed lounging there and reading.

Had a lovely relaxing week here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Great hotel with a beautiful pool area and gardens. Plenty of food & bar options and lovely room. Nice walk to the harbour and enjoyed a trip to the Souk.

Les + : Hôtel magnifique, propre et luxueux. Chambres propres et grandes. Nourriture excellente et variée. Proche du centre. Ballade à pied sur la corniche. Plage en face. Un grand bravo et merci au personnel, dont la serviabilité et l'amabilité font plaisir. Les - : les enfants = animations qui font ressembler l'hôtel en un club Marmara...

Beautifully decorated. Food lovely. Staff super friendly. I was with my 2 children and was Disappointed we could never get a sun lounger. People went out early in the morning to reserve. My 15yr wouldn’t sleep on the sofa bed as it wasn’t comfy, so there was a sleeping issue and our electrics went out twice, so we showered without light and my safe box had an error so an outside engineer had to come on site which meant 1 day, I went out without any money.

Staff were excellent and facilities were the best we experienced in Morocco

Boissons diversifiées. Qualité des repas médiocres, aliments sur-cuits, desséchés, et tièdes. Peu de diversité. Accès Hammam payant. Piscine intérieure froide. Très bel établissement, décors avec végétation luxuriante et très bien entretenue. Belle plage avec accès aisé et gardé. Personnel sympathique, professionnel et serviable

This is not an ideal hotel for a business trip, it’s quite noisy! The room was very dated, the overhead shower did not work, the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. The pool area is beautiful and the reception area has been recently updated. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it is not what it used to be!

The staff were very welcoming and especially pool and waiting staff. Prior to arrival we tried to ask for a transfer. We just had an unhelpful message from the hotel saying “we don’t do transportation” but no suggestions. On leaving we asked reception to book us a taxi for the next day. On the morning of departure it was unclear if one had been booked or not. The taxi driver had in fact been waiting for 30 mins but there was no process to identify him. The gym is ok but no refilling of water or towels. Once a staff member came in to get himself a glass of water and discovered it was empty. He did not return to refill it. There are insufficient toilets for the outside facilities and lunchtime restaurant. 3 ladies toilets only. It is disappointing that the hotel does nothing to dissuade reservation of sunbed culture. In the rooms there is no shampoo only shower gel in a fixed container. The front of our dispenser was broken off and left on the side throughout the entirety of our stay. We used a glass one day from the room. This was removed by housekeeping and not replaced. We found a cockroach in the bathroom halfway through the stay. You have to wear shoes in the room as the floor is dirty. The toilet has Louvre doors that do not close. The drawers do not open due to position wardrobe doors. Beds really hard. The worst feature by far is the food. It is really poor quality & flavour. fish/meat. Repetitive. Odd colours used and gelatine a fav. I had food poisoning for 24hrs.

L’hôtel est très beau et le personnel toujours extraordinaire surtout aux bars et à la restauration. Néanmoins, cette fois, l’hôtel était plein et j’ai eu une chambre très tôt (car arrivée tôt à Agadir) mais la chambre était presque vétuste : prises ce courant qui ne marchent pas ou pas bien, une forte odeur qui ne passait pas, des rideaux très sales et une porte fenêtre qui ferme mal. Je pense que certaines chambres sont en attente de réfection ? Ça ne m’empêchera pas de revenir dans l’un des hôtels RIU d Agadir car j’ai apprécié qu’on me donne la chambre plus tot, donc je pense que c’est plus lié à un concours de circonstances Le service reste extraordinaire Je n’ai pas utilisé la piscine et la salle de sport Parking très bien il y a toujours de la place et il est gardé

Fantastic holiday and hotel. Staff incredibly helpful and happy. Very clean. Food was fresh and excellent quality. Kids had an wonderful time. Can’t fault it and will look to use these hotels for our next holiday.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons au Tikida et nous y retournerons bien volonté car le cadre est magnifique, l'hotel en lui meme, les chambres, professionalisme du personnel aux petits soins des clients, aimable, à l'écoute,grand diversité des plats proposés, très bon emplacement.Seul bémol le matelas trop dur! nous avons demandé un surmatelas at avons eu une couette pliée en deux

Enjoyed the all inclusive offer at the hotel. The only draw back was the AC in our room was not as operational as I thought. The fan made more difference. Amenities was decent with food effort by the domestics to clean daily. Staff were friend.

L'emplacement est très sympa. Promenade le long de la mer juste devant, quelques magasins et restaurants autour. C'est agréable. Pour l'hôtel, c'était notre première fois dans le RIU Palace Agadir. Nous avions testé précédemment le Palace Taghazout. Et il n'y a pas photo entre les 2!!! Au Palace Agadir, les installations sont vraiment vieillissantes. Rideaux arrachés dans les chambres, insonorisation inexistante entre les étages, lits dur comme des planches… Résultat, au bout de 3 nuits catastrophiques, entre la voisine qui marchait en talons au dessus qu'il soit 13h ou 3h du matin, et le lit trop dur, nous avons dû aller voir la réception pour trouver une solution car j'ai cru que nous allions partir… Solution : 2 surmatelas sur le lit et c'est tout.… Donc bof! A refaire, je retournerais sans hésitation à Palace Taghazout en laissant loin de nous le Palace Agadir. C'est dommage! Cependant, le point très positif de cet hôtel réside dans la gentillesse de son équipe. Adorable!! C'est à souligner!!! Heureusement qu'ils sont là, car sincèrement c'est la première fois que j'étais épuisée au réveil et que je rêvais de partir!

Superbe hôtel à la décoration très soignée. Chambres spacieuses propres et confortables. Personnel très gentil et attentif à tous nos besoins. Un réel plaisir ce séjour.

From check in to check out 7 days later everything was fantastic. Rooms large and spacious with all the amenities you’d need, safe, mini fridge, tea coffee, views and a big comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and very attentive to your needs, amazingly for a hotel of the size, they remember everyone and make the experience amazing, special thanks to Sarah in the restaurants for making our daughter feel like a princess. Pools are great, one heated at this time of year and direct access to a private section on the beach. Food was fantastic and covered all bases, didn’t have a bad meal at all and a special mention to the Krystal Restaurant, food was out of this world.

The hotel was excellent! It was literally the best hotel my friends and I have ever been to. The people at the front desk could be a little more friendly (a bit rude and cold at times), but the servers and the other staff at the hotel were very helpful, welcoming, and hospitable. Still 5 stars all around.

I was given an amazing upgrade to my room. I didn’t want to leave. My family were staying at a hotel across the road so getting the upgrade really made my trip so much better. The hotel itself is also amazing, from the exterior to the interior reception and views over the pool area. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The restaurant staff could be a bit more attentive, at times I had to look for someone to get a dinner drink. Also I think some barista training would be helpful for staff to recognise when milk is bad (regardless of it being within its date). Having two bad coffees put me off wanting to get more, even though the coffee was delicious when made properly. I’ll definitely be coming back to this hotel on my next trip to Morocco or another hotel in the chain if they’re of the same quality.

Par contre, il faudrait plus de barmen car l'attente au bar est longue. Et une bonne formation au cocktails, le mojito, entre autre, n'est pas bon du tout. L'équipe d'animation actuelle ne répond pas pleinement aux attentes. Il est certain que nous sommes loin des standards du Club Méditerranée. C'est regrettable.

The food was really good. But the service from staff was truly outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Personnel et services exceptionnels

I have stayed at this hotel many times but this was the first time during the summer peak, they cannot cope with a full hotel, the service was extremely slow, no water in room, nothing in the minibar (until a staff member tried to get in my room at 10.30pm to restock it, I was traveling alone as on business so this was quite alarming) reception staff were overworked and quite rude. The food and restaurant staff however were great as always. The room was clean and the main reception areas were also well maintained it was just the service.

Les serveurs ne comprennent ni français ni anglais ! Ils parlent et rient trop fort en présence des clients pendant les repas. Lhitel a désactivé ma carte pour la porte de ma chambre à 10:40 du matin alors que le checkout est à midi ! Je ne pouvais plus accéder à ma chambre pour me changer et faire mes bagages !!!! Personne n’est capable de m’expliquer la raison !! C’est un peu dommage qu’un hôtel de ce calibre ne prête pas attention à ces détails qui font la différence !

Likes: The hotel is fun enough for your holiday , there’s a room for music performance at night, the beach is really nice and very beautiful too , so many choices of food , about 5 restaurants, I booked the hotel cus it’s all inclusive so I don’t have to stress for food but I didn’t know it covers all the restaurants, exceeded my expectations for food, you can eat in any of the restaurants free, which makes it perfect . Dislikes: The hotel doesn’t have enough facilities for users , the sockets are not the regular sockets that you can plug your device in , although there’s an alternative way to charge but you need a socket to plug anything else , I needed to use my hair straightener so bad and asked the reception if I could get a socket but nothing came till now ( I’m currently still in the hotel, its my third day here and I still haven’t gotten the socket ) Very disappointing . I also forgot my toothbrush and paste because I was in a hurry to catch my flight, I talked to the reception about it but still I couldn’t get any help, big hotel that I know provide dental care but this is different, I had to find a way to help myself. I will write the remaining review at the end of my stay .

Très belle hôtel avec des infrastructure magnifique les chambres sont spacieuse les repas variés le personnel est souriant 😃. La plage est au pied de l'hôtel. On est très enchantée de notre sejours.

A great place for family but the food was very bland and repetitive

We went for a five night stay at the hotel. The hotel cleanliness, rooms, drinks was outstanding. The food was disappointing as it wasn’t well catered for vegetarians. The food was mostly the same at dinner time every night. Only two varieties more but other than that it was the same. The food/lunch was at the snack bar near the pool. For it to be a five star like other five stars they didn’t have a buffet in their normal restaurant. The food at the snack bar was mostly the same everyday only that one day it would be fish and nother day pork. The soft drinks in the snack bar were not great at all, tasted all diluted down!the staff were mainly in their own world and not paying too much attention on the tables and what the guests needs are which was personally disgusting. The rooms didn’t have separate body wash, shampoo or conditioner. On the first couple of days there was no soap to even wash ur hands!! Appalling that was! Being a five star and not catering for a five star is appalling. We only had one liquid for washing ourselves and using it to wash our hair too. Disappointing that a shop in the hotel didn’t have any medicines at all not even pain killers. We were told to get a taxi and go into city centre to get some medicines despite my friend being totally unwell.. not knowing if we would be been make it to the pharmacy as my partner diarrhoea and wasn’t able to get out of bed. Unfortunately very disappointing for it being a five star.

The staff here is the glue that holds it altogether. The property is very nice, but our air conditioning didn’t work and the hotel didn’t do anything to fix it. After complaining a second time, the offered to move us to a room with two single beds, not acceptable. The food is very limited and not of the quality we have had at other higher end A.I resorts and the drinks were not nice. All of the spirits had a very acrid flavour, meaning nice cocktails were out of the question. Overall, a disappointing stay, due to maintenance issues and poor quality food and drink. The staff were amazing though and we cannot rate them highly enough.
