Quite difficult to get in contact with anyone prior to arrival. The staff was cold but tried to help as much as possible (English isn’t a main language in Morocco) . Facilities were fantastic (3 restaurants and 3 outdoor pools) well maintained although the spa was under refurbishment with no prior notice so most services were unavailable. Plenty of options for breakfast, impossible not to find something you’d like to have. Overpriced menus, highly recommend looking around for places to eat which will provide more authenticity and value for quality. 10/10 for location and atmosphere.

L’hôtel est très beaux mais c’est dommage qu’on doit mettre des serviettes sur le matelas très très tôt et que ensuite tu retrouves plus ta places. Ensuite ce qu’il m’a pas plus surtout aux niveaux de la piscine les enfants avec leurs boues en sachant que la piscine n’est pas tellement grande et les femmes religieuses rentre en burkini super Accor.

The property itself is huge, the lobby and the grounds are magnificent, however the rooms are less so.. bathroom needs update- tiles chipping, walls scuffed, the terrace that we had was not cleaned properly as there was some ashes on the floor tiles from previous occupants- very minor things anyway What was a bit of problem for us- the breakfast. It was not up to standard of 5starr hotel. The selection was big however the quality was not satisfactory. The hams looked bit old and crusty, the yoghurts not fresh, very little fresh fruit, the eggs… few times we asked the chefs to cook an omelet for us - almost every time we had raw eggs inside.. I went for fried eggs - raw again.. so we stayed of the eggs completely. Also the pool situation- there are few pools, plenty of beautiful comfortable sunloungers but what spoils it all are the people that ‘reserve’ it from early morning! We were never unable to have one at any time of the day- yes maybe further down or maybe by the colder pool but there was plenty! We were able to see one couple that was sunbathing by one side of the pool but moved to the other side of the pool ( where they previously ‘reserved sun loungers ) once the sun moved… In general property is beautifully maintained, staff was lovely and I would recommend.

We stayed at the Mövenpick for our anniversary, hoping for a memorable experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. The positive side first: The kids club was excellent — our child loved it, and the staff there were fantastic. The pool area and general facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable. However, the front desk and reception staff were neither respectful nor helpful. The customer service was poor throughout our stay. Despite mentioning that it was our anniversary, not even a small gesture like a flower or a sweet treat was offered, which was very disappointing for a supposed 5-star hotel. We had also requested and paid for an upgraded room, but we were given a standard room with a view of the parking lot. This felt unfair and poorly handled. As for the gym, it was located in the basement, very humid, and uncomfortable to use — far from the standards you’d expect from a luxury hotel. Overall, while some amenities were nice, the lack of proper service and attention to guests makes this hotel feel more like a 3- or 4-star property at best — definitely not worthy of the 5-star label

Stayed for three nights in Marrakesh, before and after my adventures in Zagora. Each time I returned, the staff greeted me with a natural, honest kindness that made the place feel almost familiar. The Movenpick Hotel is vast with 3 pools, grassed areas and beautiful gardens. Many sun lounges, umbrellas and quality towels provided. Great location as close to the airport and to visit Bahia Palace, Jardin Majorelle,Mohammed Ave, shopping mall. Note: passport control at Marrakesh absolutely horrendous as the staff ignore the queues, both arriving and leaving the Country. The pool bar is good for food ie. hamburgers,club sandwich,tapas and drinks. The breakfast area is very relaxing and the choices are plentiful. Didn’t try the restaurant. The Spanish bar wasn’t manned when we visited it. The reception area is beautiful with the spectacular centre chandelier. It is very busy and our checking in was stressful. Our room wasn’t satisfactory and we were moved the next day. The bathroom was very dated and wasn’t that clean with a bad smell. The toilet seat fell off and the repair was still very shaky! Generally the staff are all very kind, polite and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Movenpick it was worth the stay The hotel / resort is very calming lots of beautiful trees all around the place The team is one of the best and welcoming team we have ever met.. they added value to our stay .. very friendly with the kids and helpful All concierge team *****5 Bader in the reception 5***** Naima in the resturant 5***** Easy access to most of the places The avenues is just 10minutes walk with lots of resturant options and shops The pools are all big specious the only negative was the water was soooo cold -no heaters

Check in was easy; staff was friendly; pool is nice and the breakfast is good. With that said, this isn’t a 5 star hotel. It’s a bit dated, bathroom floor that looks a bit gross. I thought it was dirty so I called to have someone clean it, they came right away but I guess the spot stains are permanent. After traveling all day we just dealt with it since it would be a short stay. All in all it was ok but I wouldn’t recommend.

I always have a nice stay at this hotel. However, this time, there was a tech issue with the front desk and they could not find many reservations, and it was total chaos. Took hours for them to find it, honor it, and then issue a room, which then I found was already occupied when I got to the room. While I understand that these things happen....they shouldn't. Also, I have stayed here from before the renavation, and since. The cleaning staff obviously have used the wrong products to clean the once-beautiful marble in the bathrooms, and the stone is all stained and looks terrible. Such a shame, the bathrooms are quite lovely.

La stanza carina, purtroppo le donne delle pulizie non sono bravissime. Sono venute solo a rifare il letto e buttare il cestino del bagno , ma non hanno mai pulito i bicchieri o i piatti rimasti, nonostante avessi sollecitato la pulizia. Non hai mai rimesso i vanity set in bagno (nemmeno gli essenziali ) La colazione in confronto è stata ottima, la signora Naima e lo chef Sami sono stati meravigliosi , ospitali e molto molto gentili. Infatti ho messo un punteggio alto soltanto grazie a loro. Devo ammettere che anche il servizio di voiturer è impeccabile e ben organizzato. Purtroppo la pulizia è altrettanto fondamentale. Ci vorrebbe maggiore controllo al riguardo, soprattutto per una catena alberghiera come Mövenpick.

The check-in took over an hour and we were dragged from one check-in place to another. As I prepaid the hotel, I was lucky with quick check-out, my colleagues were waiting for ages. The room was ok, even though the patio was probably the smallest I have seen. In the bathroom I had sewage smells and once I flushed the toilet, the flush itself would get stuck and water then going with terrible sounds. Breakfast was great, the only thing that I truly rate as excellent. Other than that, for sure too high price for what it is. I stayed for two nights in Riyad in Medina some days before and it was a fantastic experience and much cheaper.

This is an awesome property! Agree with the 5 star rating. Good location. Staff friendly throughout always willing to assist. Room was big , clean, extremely comfortable, and modern. Great shower and bathroom. Pools were excellent. Breakfast was truly very good. Fresh fruit, juice, pastries, hot breakfast and good seating and service. Sami and Yassin looked after us at breakfast. Assortment of teas was good. Finally the chocolate hour was amazing. Definitely recommend! Enjoy

The movenpick was ok. Beautiful communal grounds with subpar rooms. My room was advertised as a room with a garden view and ended up with a room facing the back of the adjoining hotel. (We checked in around 11 hoping for an early check in which unfortunately they were unable to provide… which i realize is a request and not the hotels obligation) After almost 24 hrs traveling we honestly just wanted to shower and relax so we didn’t ask for a room change). The AC could have definitely been cooler and in room fridge never went above lukewarm. The pool was closed daily at sunset which was disappointing considering the summer weather in Marrakesh. Free breakfast, tea and chocolate hour were great. No entertainment or amenities provided. had to call down to room service or stop at the bar for ice which can be a huge inconvenience. They have a free gym but yoga is an add on. Movenpick was in a good location. next to M ave. and Manera mall and just a short taxi ride from the Medina. The movenpick was ok. Beautiful communal grounds with subpar rooms. My room was advertised as a room with a garden view and ended up with a room facing the back of the adjoining hotel. (We checked in around 11 hoping for an early check in which unfortunately they were unable to provide… which i realize is a request and not the hotels obligation) After almost 24 hrs traveling we honestly just wanted to shower and relax so we didn’t ask for a room change). The AC could have definitely been cooler and in room fridge never went above lukewarm. The pool was closed daily at sunset which was disappointing considering the summer weather in Marrakesh. Free breakfast, tea and chocolate hour were great. No entertainment or amenities provided. had to call down to room service or stop at the bar for ice which can be a huge inconvenience. They have a free gym but yoga is an add on. Movenpick was in a good location. next to M ave. and Manera mall and just a short taxi ride from the Medina. However with so many hotels in the area to chose from I dont think Movenpick is anything special.

I booked the deluxe suite which is supposed to be the most luxurious suite. The hotel is beautiful. But the hotel decided to give me the last building in the hotel which my balcony view is a parking lot, a construction site and a street with loud cars and motorcycles passing by. I complained with management they said that, they don't have any other suite available, and MAYBE tomorrow will check if there's any availability for them to change my room with horrible view and loud car noises, Well after this from all the electrical outlets, 1 only works, and one of the outlets messed up my girlfriends Dyson hair blower. On the closet there's no hangers, so how are we supposed to hang the clothes? We tried to order room service, we called lobby 4 times till someone answered and they gave me a number to order room service (with the attitude we really don't care) After 6 attempts finally somebody answer, very hard to order because there is NO MENU believe it or not. I would not recommend this hotel.

The property is well located. Walking distance to main amenities like shops and restaurants. However the hotel and its management are very very disorganised and unhelpful. Having booked a room with balcony, I have presented with a small room with at tiny terrace and NO AIRCONDTIONING. Whilst the Property itself was beautiful, the staff were consistently rude and reluctant to help with general queries, suggestions or the most basic requests from Concierge. It seemed that we (Australians/English speaking) were treated differently to local guests or French-speaking tourists, despite our best efforts to speak broken Arabic-English. Our best way to describe it was that we were treated as “second class” compared to everyone else (and we’d just come off four weeks travelling Europe, where their service has a worse reputation). It was disheartening and disappointing, inevitably dampening our stay at the Hotel.

Lovely warm welcoming staff, always ready to help. Comfortable, clean rooms with wonderful beds/bedding and superb showers. Delicious food with a very wide choice, including several different restaurants. Fantastic pools, communal areas and gardens. Excellent for families as well as couples.

Awful service. The television remote is non existent, meaning the TV screen remains on always, even during the night. Wires hidden in the wall so I wasn't able to locate the on/off button.Despite asking many times, and even to management for the remote, they keep telling me how right I am and how they'll fix it immediately. Yet after 5nts it's still not sorted. Ridiculous service, absolutely appalled our sleep has been ruined because they cannot keep to their promises for such a simple issue. Worst management I've seen.

The hotel is some distance from the Koutoubia mosque and the main square - about 30 mins brisk walk. There are plenty of taxis available nearby though. One issue is that the reception desk was not properly operating on several occasions despite several desks but only two staff on duty. This caused some frustration and delay to some customers. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed what was on offer.

Un hôtel bien placé avec de beaux équipements, petit déjeuner plutôt bon. Gros point noir, le service à l’accueil ou l’on vous dit à peine bonjour, on vous prend le passeport et on vous demande de vous asseoir sans plus d’explications. 30 mn après retour du passeport et on vous demande votre carte bancaire sans préciser le montant de l’empreinte cb. Indigne d’un établissement du groupe Accor sans parler des 5 étoiles. Personnel inefficace hormis les bagagistes qui vous expliquent les infrastructures de l’hôtel et ou prendre le petit déjeuner. Je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel et je ne le recommanderai pas!

Movenpick Marrakesh is really a very nice hotel: convenient, safe environment; clean, food is good; facilitirs are good. However this hotel seriously needs a seamless check-in and check-out procedure. Unbeleivably both processes takes more than 30mins for sure. Strongly suggest people to run this process well before their appointments or flight. I m travelling so much around the world; and never seen such a slow reception service. Many people so called running here and there but the queus never move forward. Be careful with this! Otherwise really a great hotel to stay.

Stayed for three nights in Marrakesh, before and after my adventures in Zagora. Each time I returned, the staff greeted me with a natural, honest kindness that made the place feel almost familiar. The Movenpick Hotel is vast with 3 pools, grassed areas and beautiful gardens. Many sun lounges, umbrellas and quality towels provided. Great location as close to the airport and to visit Bahia Palace, Jardin Majorelle,Mohammed Ave, shopping mall. Note: passport control at Marrakesh absolutely horrendous as the staff ignore the queues, both arriving and leaving the Country. The pool bar is good for food ie. hamburgers,club sandwich,tapas and drinks. The breakfast area is very relaxing and the choices are plentiful. Didn’t try the restaurant. The Spanish bar wasn’t manned when we visited it. The reception area is beautiful with the spectacular centre chandelier. It is very busy and our checking in was stressful. Our room wasn’t satisfactory and we were moved the next day. The bathroom was very dated and wasn’t that clean with a bad smell. The toilet seat fell off and the repair was still very shaky! Generally the staff are all very kind, polite and helpful.

Quite difficult to get in contact with anyone prior to arrival. The staff was cold but tried to help as much as possible (English isn’t a main language in Morocco) . Facilities were fantastic (3 restaurants and 3 outdoor pools) well maintained although the spa was under refurbishment with no prior notice so most services were unavailable. Plenty of options for breakfast, impossible not to find something you’d like to have. Overpriced menus, highly recommend looking around for places to eat which will provide more authenticity and value for quality. 10/10 for location and atmosphere.

This is an awesome property! Agree with the 5 star rating. Good location. Staff friendly throughout always willing to assist. Room was big , clean, extremely comfortable, and modern. Great shower and bathroom. Pools were excellent. Breakfast was truly very good. Fresh fruit, juice, pastries, hot breakfast and good seating and service. Sami and Yassin looked after us at breakfast. Assortment of teas was good. Finally the chocolate hour was amazing. Definitely recommend! Enjoy

The property itself is huge, the lobby and the grounds are magnificent, however the rooms are less so.. bathroom needs update- tiles chipping, walls scuffed, the terrace that we had was not cleaned properly as there was some ashes on the floor tiles from previous occupants- very minor things anyway What was a bit of problem for us- the breakfast. It was not up to standard of 5starr hotel. The selection was big however the quality was not satisfactory. The hams looked bit old and crusty, the yoghurts not fresh, very little fresh fruit, the eggs… few times we asked the chefs to cook an omelet for us - almost every time we had raw eggs inside.. I went for fried eggs - raw again.. so we stayed of the eggs completely. Also the pool situation- there are few pools, plenty of beautiful comfortable sunloungers but what spoils it all are the people that ‘reserve’ it from early morning! We were never unable to have one at any time of the day- yes maybe further down or maybe by the colder pool but there was plenty! We were able to see one couple that was sunbathing by one side of the pool but moved to the other side of the pool ( where they previously ‘reserved sun loungers ) once the sun moved… In general property is beautifully maintained, staff was lovely and I would recommend.

The Movenpick Hotel is vast with 3 pools, grassed areas and beautiful gardens. Many sun lounges, umbrellas and quality towels provided. Great location as close to the airport and to visit Bahia Palace, Jardin Majorelle,Mohammed Ave, shopping mall. Note: passport control at Marrakesh absolutely horrendous as the staff ignore the queues, both arriving and leaving the Country. The pool bar is good for food ie. hamburgers,club sandwich,tapas and drinks. The breakfast area is very relaxing and the choices are plentiful. Didn’t try the restaurant. The Spanish bar wasn’t manned when we visited it. The reception area is beautiful with the spectacular centre chandelier. It is very busy and our checking in was stressful. Our room wasn’t satisfactory and we were moved the next day. The bathroom was very dated and wasn’t that clean with a bad smell. The toilet seat fell off and the repair was still very shaky! Generally the staff are all very kind, polite and helpful.

A la carte restaurant Marcelona overcooked the steak and repeatedly forgot to bring ordered drinks. By pool, service always took very long and always difficult to pay. Only one credit card machine. Average rating is due to the disorganized service. Staff otherwise friendly and concierge was exceptionally professional.

Overall, a fantastic hotel. Good location, 10 mins from the airport and close to the main areas of Marrakech. Easy to get taxis and close to a decent shopping mall. The hotel itself is massive, with several good swimming pools and restaurants. Service around the pool was slow at times, but generally ok. The room was of a good size and comfortable. The only thing I would want to improve is that I found the pillows to be very soft and uncomfortable. Also, the view from the rooms isn't great, but it didn't affect our stay. The breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. However, there are no perks for a Hotels.com gold member!

Excellent location next to Palais de Congres. Restaurants onsite were excellent but no real options within walking distance if you’d like to eat out. Taxi to Guliez is reasonable and numerous, and there’s lots of options there. Likewise to Jemaa el-Fna square and other tourist sites. 10min to MAK airport
