We had stayed for night at Sunshine Motor Inn. Overall it was nice, pictures a quite accurate, had an on-site parking in front of our appartment, which was convenient. We got upgraded into a King Bedroom which was nice little surprise. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to use the spa pool or pool but it was open to use, which was nice to know. Definitely recommend Sunshine Motor Inn for families. Only let down for us was no microwave in the rooms we stayed in and our toilet seemed to be clogged a little. Shower was great and tiled nicely. Tea and Coffee provided and bed was very comfortable. Overall was best for the money we paid.

Staff were lovely. Had to take luggage up 2 set of stairs. Very basic room and had everything we needed for the night. All window misted when waking up due to condensation in the room Issues- bathroom has no ventilation or fan. There was mould everywhere. Advertised photo online are deceiving.

The only disappointment was the motel policy of not providing plates,bowls or cutlery in room,however we were provided with said items when we requested them. I would have thought that they would be in a deluxe king room! No problems with the room

Sunshine Motel brings to mind a pleasant motel, but this was the opposite. It looked old & tired, 2 storey motel with shopping trolleys stacked in the stairwell & metal railings. There was no allocated parking for the rooms, just a park where you can & dont block anyone in. No lift, just a dark stairwell. As soon as we ooened our room door, the smell hit us & we opened the door & window for 30 mins to try to get rid of it. I was unable to make out what it was .. tobacco & bleach or bleach masking something else unpleasant. We left the window & door open for 30 mins & that helped a bit. The double bed smelt of it so I slept on my back. There were bits of skin or scabs in the bed when I turned the sheets back & so I slept on top of the flat sheet. The shower had good pressure. I looked for a bathroom fan but there wasnt one & I saw that the ceiling was mouldy. I would not recommend this Motel. The restaurant menu was a surprise & the food was really good. I would recommend the restaurant.

Bathroom had mould on the ceiling and walls, no exhaust fan and vents painted over. Told reception and they were unaware of it. Needed to iron my shirt and found the iron had some sort of fluffy fabric melted onto it so I couldnt use it. Shower not particularly clean also and spa appeared to not be available to use. Room was over all rundown. Just an FYI attached restraunt looked okay but food was very pricy so decided not to dine there.

Very dirty and in very bad shape. The walls were dirty and bashed up, the second bedroom had cracks that hadn’t been repaired.The amount of dust everywhere was terrible. Around the microwave, the bed head, the blind had chunks of dust the toilet wasn’t cleaned properly, bathroom floor was dirty, we had no face washers so we looked in the drawers as there was hair etc in there. Roof in bathroom had mould growing and a collection of bugs. Dust webs hanging from the ceiling and in the wall corners. We were that disgusted with it we slept on top of the bed because if they couldn’t be bothered to dust who can say what the bed was like. We should have looked properly earlier when we picked our key up. We would never stay here again or recommend anyone else to.

Our stay here was great. It was quiet, the room had been renovated, and for a busy location it was quite easy to get to. I was allocated a room with rooms above and was awaken with noise all night as people were coming and going either above or pass my room. As well, the entrance door which was not firmly positioned, moved with the strength of the wind AND it was a windy night.

Our room stunk of smoke the manager happily moved us to another room . The bar attendant made our cocktails tequila sunrises and forgot the orange juice. If your looking for just a basic room then this is the place

Very average accommodation but as a motor inn I wouldnt expect anything too fancy. Waited at check in for 5-10mins before someone actually realised I was there. Check in process was quick and easy. Went to the restaurant onsite and was overcharged $14 we didnt get a receipt so were told we couldnt get a refund which was annoying. Beds were comfy, pillows the opposite. Overall average stay, wouldnt say it was worth the price. But would return if only using accommodation for sleeping which is what we used it for.

Property is an old one but well maintained. Friendly reception and good restaurant within the property. Room service is excellent. The property does not have great connectivity with public transport and quite isolated. No restaurants or cafes around. Hardly anything to do around the hotel.
