Booked a king size bed. It was just two beds pushed together. The towels had stains on them. The spa bath jets were missing the covers so the jets just spayed water everywhere. Parking was cramped and terribly layed out. Our balcony had a leak above it and caused it to be covered in water. Overall would not be going back to this place.

It is constructed on 3 levels with the entrance at the lowest level, the kitchen & living room on the next level, and the bedrooms and bath on the top level. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other has 3 twins. There is another twin in the "living room." There is a single bathroom. The kitchen facility was fine, with a rather large refrigerator. We cooked breakfast in the electric frying pan that was provided. We couldn't find a toaster, which we would have appreciated. We used and liked the laundry facilities. The hotel is located close to the university, and there is a convenience store located within a block. Grocery stores are walkable but further away. This apartment was a good deal for the two couples.

We let the manager know and she moved us to another room that was significantly better. This is an older motel that was when we stayed being repainted externally. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Location on George Street is conveniently close to the city.

The place was tidy, a good location, close to 24 hour grocer, a bit of work going on at the time we stayed so there was scaffolding all around but that was ok, easy parking, easy access to more towels and condiments if you needed them, the only let down was the noise from the other room (which can’t be helped) and the kitchen was not equipped with what we needed with 4 people staying. Ie: 1small pot to cook other then that it was ok

Although a no party policy a large loud group of 20 yr olds kept other guests up until almost 4am. Rooms were ok, but dirty skirting boards, carpets needed to be cleaned and dirty marks on the walls. There is no room servicing unless you request it, you need to get your own clean towels toilet paper and empty your own rubbish. It was slightly cheaper than other options but this was reflective in the service and standard of the motel. The reception staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful, but it is a motel being run on a tight budget.

Hired 3 rooms for family, they all smelt and felt damp. The room we had number 15 badly needs roof in bathroom cleaned and all rooms could do with a really good clean. Outside of the building also needed a tidy up

Room was freezing on arrival & took 15mins for the heatpump to even start up. Room smelled musty. Carpet & first viewed bedspread were dirty with visible marks. Good shower pressure but wondered if there was a temperature restricter as wouldnt go as hot as we would normally run it. Broken light switch in bathroom, etc, etc

I booked to stay in standard 1 bedroom accommodation. The rooms were clean, they had a powerful shower, friendly staff on reception and nice tea and coffee were provided. The motel is located in quite a noisy area, and we were woken alot by people presumably returning from a drunken night out. We closed the windows but then they were dripping in the morning. There was also a light right outside our door which meant it was very light at night (no blackout curtains). The room was advertised as having a private courtyard and garden view but this was not the case, we had a no outdoor space and a view over the car park.

The bed was very hard, very uncomfortable and had a hard seam down the middle. Had to ask for blood to be removed from door. Very dated property. Broken towel rail taped together. Felt dirty as walls had lots of marks on them.

Great stay for iur family, grandparent, parents and two kids, in the 2 bedroom apartment. A very spacious unit. Good location for university events. Room was quiet. Our flight into Dunedin was delayed and reception staff waited up for us til 10pm. We will stay again.

Comfortable accommodation, basic amenities and on a Main Street so convenient for taxi/Uber and 5 minute walk to intercity bus near campus. Several good restaurants. Buddha Stix restaurant for dinner and the Good Earth cafe for breakfast or lunch. Campus closed for the summer so not every restaurant open but enough for our two night stay. Managers kind and friendly and certainly working hard to make the motel a success.
