Overall nice Staff pleasant Downsides: No Aircon in lift Dated decor

I usually stay here when I’m phnom pehn. It’s relatively inexpensive for a decent room and the staff are always great.

Great room

Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Lobby and restaurant were clean and nice. Breakfast was pretty good. The room itself was clean but a very strange layout with the bathroom sink being outside the bathroom. The lighting and electrics were not normal switches and took some working out. 2 out of the 4 sockets didn't work. Quite often the room smelled of smoke as I think it was coming through the a/c. The pool area was pretty dirty - the ground and tables never appeared to be cleaned. The pool itself was nice though, and the loungers were comfy. Quite often there was no staff around which made it difficult to order food and drinks. No shower at pool either. Not the hotel's fault but there were a lot of residents hanging about, spitting a lot. Not nice. Also the bar was only open until 9pm which seems very early. Overall, it was an ok hotel but not great.

All breakfast food was cold - not luke warm cold. Pool bar staff non existant in fact sleeping on the pool lounge chairs. TV didnt work and the front office staff were unhelpful
