Poor condition. Needs updating. Limited food times and no out of hours food. Everyone complaining about something broken in their rooms, toilets, showers leaking through ceilings and in our room a gale blowing on our heads all night & whistling sounds first night. Rowdy guests drunk every night and very few people there in the evenings. Some staff friendly, some not friendly. Entertainment good but drinks excellent. Run down area but beach beautiful. Lift decrepit and felt very unstable. The whole place needs completely modernising - not cheap and much nicer places to stay in the immediate vicinity. Things fixed quickly but should have been done before arrivals or preferably not have needed doing at all. Tatty restaurant area in need of renovation but breakfast okay. Service good in restaurant. Some customer service good, others very moody. Would not recommend or stay there again unless totally renovated and new windows, fixtures and fittings and a modern service extra hours evening food and cheaper prices if still grotty outdated interior. It used to be very good and packed out apparently but it’s dreadfully outdated and dull now, virtually empty even at weekends. Overall very disappointing indeed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, good to have parking on site (booked in advance - fee payable, but that's the same everywhere) and a 24 hr bar. Very slight delay in checking in, but still given a free drink which was very much appreciated. Room had a sea view, and there was a really nice breakfast.

Once we checked in and recieved our room keys we headed to the lift and upon existing the lift to the first floor we were greated by this vile smell of rotten eggs. We were a group booking with 6 rooms total and most of which were unfortunately down the same corridor (smelly alley) one room 120 a premier room, the smell was unbearable. We spoke to reception and went straight out on an adventure. We came back post midnight and again was hit with the smell. We had to keep the window open all night to ease the smell away. Upon check out we spoke to reception who advised she’s limited what she could do as she went in the room previously once we checked in to spray air freshener… this isn’t a air problem this is a drainage problem and it’s the whole corridor. I would urge you to shut this room off until it’s fixed. The room upon fist impressions (minus the smell) was nice, bit dusty and loads of cobwebs. I would say this is majority of the rooms. 117 window was covered with cobwebs. And the sliding door to bathroom didn’t work either. Breakfast was nice, small but nice! Could do with a good clean in there but still enjoyed the breakfast. Parking is limited and not specific on the instructions you need to reserve prior to journey. But we did manage to park on street for free

Basic with no frills but clean, wall lights didn’t work but lamps put in room to compensate. Blinds pull broken but could still close just couldn’t adjust. Beds clean and comfortable. Rooms were very warm so had to sleep with window open, minimal noise so not an issue. Bathroom small but did the job and shower was hot and decent power. Floorboards very creaky and tv remote temperamental. Could do with a facelift as apart from furnishings all very tired looking. Location was perfect and staff very friendly and helpful. Limited parking so book in advance to guarantee. Facilities looked ok but we didn’t use them as already had plans, well stocked bar with huge tv where there seemed to be entertainment on (bingo the night we were there) and dining area. Very convenient and suited our needs so would stay again for a quick stopover. Feel like we got a basic room as we got a discounted price as room was not like photos. In fact wasn’t a triple room, but 2 rooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with a single. Was ok for us but may not work for every family.

Such a lovely hotel very clean and modern, rooms were lovely too, we had 3 rooms all very new and fresh two with sea view which was great. Bathrooms lovely too all modern with showers. Staff were lovely and friendly the entertainment was great so we’re the entertainment staff. Music and bingo was great, drinks were flowing nicely. Only downfall was the lifts are tiny we had a wheelchair had to take the peddles of to get it in it just about fitted. We will definitely be staying there again

We arrived early and the check in lady rang the cleaners to double check. She was thoughtful, friendly and went above what I’ve had from other hotels. Asked about the kids etc. I wasn’t expecting that having paid £17 for a room for 5 people (quadruple). 10 mins later checked in. Room was 220 a double a bunk bed and a sofa bed. We did not need 5 as it happened which is good as the sofa bed could not be used. Obviously we didn’t complain because it was redundant. Bunk beds and double comfy clean and safe. 2 tvs in room and nice bathroom. The hot water room about 8 mins to run through but that’s because we were one of 4 rooms booked that night so I’m not surprised. I’m not taking any stars off for the sofa bed and water as it didn’t affect us and it was far outweighed by the staff and cost. We came home after tea and it was just us in the function room with 5 adults and 4 kids. The lady put a film on the big screen for the kids! That’s above and beyond, she could have just been ignorant and served our drinks but she was personable and kind. The kids had fun, the adults could chat and the atmosphere was chilled. Obviously this isn’t what it will be for everyone but I’m not reviewing anyone else’s stay! Rooms could do with a bit of updating but you get what you pay for. You need to drive into the centre so bear that in mind. The drinks weren’t the best but maybe because it was quiet the lines hadn’t been run through. Staff make the place. Lifts and corridor decor in need of tlc.

I was quite disappointed with our stay. Our room was ok amenities wise but the window sills were extremely dirty. Not ideal when you pay more for a sea view that you can only see by standing at the window. The entertainment was very loud and went on til really late. Our shower only had one temperature and was absolutely scolding, completely unusable. The bed was clean and comfortable. This is our 3rd stay in Blackpool this year and and definitely a hotel I would not return to.

Had family room for 4night (room only) staff was great anything you needed. Room was clean but bathroom was terrible the smell, dirty toilet brush left floor was dirty shower door would open/shut properly wouldn’t stay on runner. Above the bed was sticky and full of dust. Main toilet in the reception was dirty as well.

Dirty room, Bathroom disgusting ,Hairs in bath didn’t use ,we would not have been able to get in bath anyway bath sides were to tall , Toilet very close to bath and to top it all no privacy has no blind to window

This is our 3rd stay in Blackpool this year and and definitely a hotel I would not return to.

Stayed here a few years ago and was far better then. This hotel has gone down hill since. Bedroom very small, double bed not king size. Hotel seemed very empty. Will not be going back to this hotel.

Rooms need updating, however this didn’t affect our stay, breakfast was served very quickly, staff were lovely, the lady that was on reception went above and beyond to help us with our room!

Basic with no frills but clean, wall lights didn’t work but lamps put in room to compensate. Blinds pull broken but could still close just couldn’t adjust. Beds clean and comfortable. Rooms were very warm so had to sleep with window open, minimal noise so not an issue. Bathroom small but did the job and shower was hot and decent power. Floorboards very creaky and tv remote temperamental. Could do with a facelift as apart from furnishings all very tired looking. Location was perfect and staff very friendly and helpful. Limited parking so book in advance to guarantee. Facilities looked ok but we didn’t use them as already had plans, well stocked bar with huge tv where there seemed to be entertainment on (bingo the night we were there) and dining area. Very convenient and suited our needs so would stay again for a quick stopover. Feel like we got a basic room as we got a discounted price as room was not like photos. Such a lovely hotel very clean and modern, rooms were lovely too, we had 3 rooms all very new and fresh two with sea view which was great. Bathrooms lovely too all modern with showers. Staff were lovely and friendly the entertainment was great so we’re the entertainment staff. Music and bingo was great, drinks were flowing nicely. Only downfall was the lifts are tiny we had a wheelchair had to take the peddles of to get it in it just about fitted. We will definitely be staying there again

We arrived early and the check in lady rang the cleaners to double check. She was thoughtful, friendly and went above what I’ve had from other hotels. Asked about the kids etc. I wasn’t expecting that having paid £17 for a room for 5 people (quadruple). 10 mins later checked in. Room was 220 a double a bunk bed and a sofa bed. We did not need 5 as it happened which is good as the sofa bed could not be used. Obviously we didn’t complain because it was redundant. Bunk beds and double comfy clean and safe. 2 tvs in room and nice bathroom. The hot water room about 8 mins to run through but that’s because we were one of 4 rooms booked that night so I’m not surprised. I’m not taking any stars off for the sofa bed and water as it didn’t affect us and it was far outweighed by the staff and cost. We came home after tea and it was just us in the function room with 5 adults and 4 kids. The lady put a film on the big screen for the kids! That’s above and beyond, she could have just been ignorant and served our drinks but she was personable and kind. The kids had fun, the adults could chat and the atmosphere was chilled. Obviously this isn’t what it will be for everyone but I’m not reviewing anyone else’s stay! Rooms could do with a bit of updating but you get what you pay for. We did not enjoy the stay at all. The interior especially the carpets in the hotel throughout especially the room was awful. There was hardly any water came out the shower head. Even when the dripps and drops came it was either too hot or cold, the temperature knobs was broken and didn’t function at all. The fans in the room didnt work properly they just made noise not air. The beds were ok and they were clean and tidy, fixtures and fittings on the building looks old and tacky. No one answer the phones. Had to wait for a while before someone came to help at the reception for checkout.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, good to have parking on site (booked in advance - fee payable, but that's the same everywhere) and a 24 hr bar. Very slight delay in checking in, but still given a free drink which was very much appreciated. Room had a sea view, and there was a really nice breakfast.

We arrived early and the check in lady rang the cleaners to double check. She was thoughtful, friendly and went above what I’ve had from other hotels. Poor condition. Needs updating. Limited food times and no out of hours food. Everyone complaining about something broken in their rooms, toilets, showers leaking through ceilings and in our room a gale blowing on our heads all night & whistling sounds first night. Rowdy guests drunk every night and very few people there in the evenings. Some staff friendly, some not friendly. Entertainment good but drinks excellent. Run down area but beach beautiful. Lift decrepit and felt very unstable. The whole place needs completely modernising - not cheap and much nicer places to stay in the immediate vicinity. Things fixed quickly but should have been done before arrivals or preferably not have needed doing at all. Tatty restaurant area in need of renovation but breakfast okay. Service good in restaurant. Some customer service good, others very moody. Would not recommend or stay there again unless totally renovated and new windows, fixtures and fittings and a modern service extra hours evening food and cheaper prices if still grotty outdated interior. It used to be very good and packed out apparently but it’s dreadfully outdated and dull now, virtually empty even at weekends. Overall very disappointing indeed.

It was ok for a quick stay, but I wouldn't spend anymore than a couple of nights here. The window was broken and wouldn't close so the room was freezing. The toilet wouldn't flush unless we poured a bucket of water. There was holes in the doors and stains on the carpets. It's a shame because the bed was comfy and the decor was nice. A better cleaner and some attention to detail would really make this a lovely place to stay with a beautiful view.

Check in was ok until they asked me to pay a £50 deposit which would be returned on check out! This was ok for me personally but it would be a bit embarrassing for someone who didn’t have £50 excess cash in their account and could have their stay affected through lack of finances! No spoons in the room with the tea/coffee, rooms in need of an update! We went in to see the entertainment and got 2 pints of lager from the bar one with a dash of blackcurrant they cost £13.50 but they ruined my drink with the cheap blackcurrant they put in it! I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again! The main selling point is the 11 o’clock check out!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, good to have parking on site (booked in advance - fee payable, but that's the same everywhere) and a 24 hr bar. Very slight delay in checking in, but still given a free drink which was very much appreciated. Room had a sea view, and there was a really nice breakfast.

Staff nice. Room small and dated. Meals not available unless pre booked. No hot water in first room. Moved to second room but tap broken so unable to shower.

Once we checked in and recieved our room keys we headed to the lift and upon existing the lift to the first floor we were greated by this vile smell of rotten eggs. We were a group booking with 6 rooms total and most of which were unfortunately down the same corridor (smelly alley) one room 120 a premier room, the smell was unbearable. We spoke to reception and went straight out on an adventure. We came back post midnight and again was hit with the smell. We had to keep the window open all night to ease the smell away. Upon check out we spoke to reception who advised she’s limited what she could do as she went in the room previously once we checked in to spray air freshener… this isn’t a air problem this is a drainage problem and it’s the whole corridor. I would urge you to shut this room off until it’s fixed. The room upon fist impressions (minus the smell) was nice, bit dusty and loads of cobwebs. I would say this is majority of the rooms. 117 window was covered with cobwebs. And the sliding door to bathroom didn’t work either. Breakfast was nice, small but nice! Could do with a good clean in there but still enjoyed the breakfast. Parking is limited and not specific on the instructions you need to reserve prior to journey. But we did manage to park on street for free

Rooms need updating, however this didn’t affect our stay, breakfast was served very quickly, staff were lovely, the lady that was on reception went above and beyond to help us with our room!

Evening meal information wasn't give an when we went back at 17.00 we was told its now so if we hadnt got back would have missed it. When we got our meal wasn't very hot starter soup tepid and main meal only a little bit warmer. In room 214 window in bathroom didn't close properly and the wind was whistling an howling all night.

We arrived early and the check in lady rang the cleaners to double check. She was thoughtful, friendly and went above what I’ve had from other hotels. Asked about the kids etc. I wasn’t expecting that having paid £17 for a room for 5 people (quadruple). 10 mins later checked in. Room was 220 a double a bunk bed and a sofa bed. We did not need 5 as it happened which is good as the sofa bed could not be used. Obviously we didn’t complain because it was redundant. Bunk beds and double comfy clean and safe. 2 tvs in room and nice bathroom. The hot water room about 8 mins to run through but that’s because we were one of 4 rooms booked that night so I’m not surprised. I’m not taking any stars off for the sofa bed and water as it didn’t affect us and it was far outweighed by the staff and cost. We came home after tea and it was just us in the function room with 5 adults and 4 kids. The lady put a film on the big screen for the kids! That’s above and beyond, she could have just been ignorant and served our drinks but she was personable and kind. The kids had fun, the adults could chat and the atmosphere was chilled. Obviously this isn’t what it will be for everyone but I’m not reviewing anyone else’s stay! Rooms could do with a bit of updating but you get what you pay for. You need to drive into the centre so bear that in mind. The drinks weren’t the best but maybe because it was quiet the lines hadn’t been run through. Staff make the place. Basic hotel and needs some fleshing up .. staff are very helpful and friendly though. I would not say it’s family friendly if you have some children like mine because of the entertainment at night was very loud luckily my children slept through it . You get what you paid for to be honest . It’s in a good location and easy to walk but abit of a distance for the main centre of Blackpool.

Bed bug bites, 1st room 105 you had to be spiderman to reach tv as remote ot had gone missing and sink was like a kids shoe. Got an upgrade to 107, where we have been bitten to bits by bed bugs. Initially thought it was something at Lytham golf course but got more and more every night. Paid for parking was given spot 4 and turns out when we got back a member of staff on not one but 2 occasions had parked outside reception leaving me with no choice but to use another spot. Smells of sewage through lower floors of hotel and the state of disrepair of the rooms is shocking. Our bathroom fan was like a chinook taking off and had resort to uising over mirror light before you got a migrane having a poo. Our bed was 2 very different bases and of course bed bugs. Do yourselves a favour and sleep rough than in here and definitely avoid Blackpool at ALL costs as it is worse than you think it is as a town.
