We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. It was easy to find and the checkin process wasgreat, we arrived early and they helped us by gettin our room ready early. The room was amazing, the beds comfortable and had the best amenities, the shampo and conditioner were awesome. The restaurant and roof top bar are on point. The nest cocktail was the pink lady! The hotel is in the best location right in the Paca Real and right off the ramblas. The gits in the heart of the gothic quarter. Very lubely amd eclectic area. Can't wait to go back!

The room was nice. I booked the room with a private terrace and pool. While the terrace and room were kept clean the pool was not. It had pigeon poo all over the bottom. Requested it to be cleaned twice but it was not. We did not use the pool at all. Also the room was right outside of a rooftop bar and bathrooms so keep in mind it can be very loud at night right outside of the door. Ear plugs were provided thankfully. There is also no railing or grip tape on the stairs to the pool making it dangerously slippery. My wife actually slipped down the stairs because of this. I’m sure the other rooms are fine but for the cost this room wasn’t worth it.

The elevator was broken, and we were on the 3rd floor (what Americans call the 4th floor). But good news! We can use the tiny staff elevator. Only it broke as well. My wife has a bad knee, so our experience was really terrible.

숙소 위치는 전철과 람블라스거리, 레이알광장이 보여서 최고였고,,,,인테리어도 자연친화적입니다. 배관이나 샤워부스물이 새는 문제도 이야기하자 마자 고쳐주셨고... 에어콘이 하루밤 안됬는데, 이야기했더니 무료 올리브서비스와 조식권을 주셨습니다. 직원분들이 서비스가 너무 좋앗어여. 방도 업그레이드해주셨어요. 1층에서 레이알 광장보는 자리라 좋았는데 식사는 보통이고 맛은 괜찮앗어요. 루프탑은 경치는 좋으나 수영장은 너무작고 자리도 작앗고 대신 분위기는 좋았습니다.

Absolutely loved our stay at this delightful hotel. Definitely not a cookie cutter hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed the uniqueness of the hotel. The staff was polite and amazing. The room was clean and updated with a mix of modern and old world decor. Cozy lobby featured THE most comfortable chair that we all fought to sit on. Rooftop bar was fun but we would have loved to have the ability to order snacks. Location was perfect - lots of interesting things to see and do in walking distance.

Terrace room pool was unsatisfactory. Unheated and filled with algae. I wouldn’t go in this pool even if it was heated. Not happy I paid extra for it. Crickets chirping outside our room all 3 nights in hallway and resonating. Didn’t get a wink of sleep. Our host/concierge Victor was amazing. Very helpful and some great English. Location can’t be beat. Right on the square. A few clean ups and it would get 5 stars.

DO Placa Real is located in the heart of center of Barcelona. Expect crowds in the area but it also means that restaurants and other amenities are easily accessible. We found we could walk easily or take the metro easily. The hotel was very clean and provided everything we needed including robes and towel warmers.

It’s an old building located right at the Placa Reial with unique characters: all wooden floor, spiral staircase, high ceilings, wooden window shutters, etc. but the interior is extremely clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. I felt in love the moment I walked into the huge bathroom. It’s thoughtfully designed: a connected double sink with vanity in the center; a big, deep bathtub on its the right end, and a separate shower area on its left. The best part? The toilet is on the very left end with its own door! So if you share the room with someone, one person using the toilet won’t ruin the other’s bath experience! This feature alone makes me want to stay here again. I wish every single hotel keeps this in mind. Of course, there are other highlights of this place: rooftop, sauna, the wonderful staff, etc. I didn’t have much time to enjoy but will definitely do next time I’m in Barcelona. The noise level is not a problem to me, as I grew up in a big city and am quite used to it. It might be too much for others.

Miriam, Facubdo, and Henry were outstanding! Housekeeping was inconsistent depending on which staff member cleaned the room. One thing to consider, do not take the taxi to the airport arranged from the hotel. The taxi company starts running the meter when the call is received. We paid 12 Euros more on the return to the airport. You can easily get a taxi on your own as soon as you step out to the street.

Great location right in Placa Reial! Our room was very comfortable and clean and had a small balcony facing the Placa. We weren't bothered by the noise but if you are sensitive to noise, then you might need ear plugs, which they did provide. It's a fun area to be in with lots going on. The staff were always super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Placa Reial is party central - especially after a big football match. But the rooms are quiet, very large, and well-furnished and there is a rooftop terrace to enjoy the view from above (in good weather). Walking distance to everything. Exceptional welcome by the front desk - much appreciated.

Maybe it was the room we booked but it was so small that it didn’t have room to fit two small carryon luggage. It’s also shaped funky so. We had to place our luggage on the floor but that weird shaped room made it not possible so we had to place one if the luggage at the entry. Otherwise, service is nice and room is modern and very clean. The bed and linens are very comfortable. We slept well.

This hotel was so terrible I left my prepaid room and booked myself into a different hotel. The lobby is so small there is only one sofa. When I arrived there was a couple passed out on it. The lobby bar was inaccessible because there was a large table stuck between it and a staircase. My room had no window! Instead there was a door that was completely frosted over and opened over a tiny courtyard so small I could easily toss an apple to the apartment on the other side. There are no bedside lights so you Either have every light in the room on or you are in complete darkness. Check the dimensions of these rooms. The last time I was in a room That small was in Tokyo in my 20’s when that was all I could afford. There are so many other great hotels in Barcelona at this price point - you don’t have to stay here.

This hotel is beautiful! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We looked out on the square which was nice but it is very noisy all times of the day and night. We didn’t sleep Well the first night but then noticed the hotel supplied ear plugs. From then on, we slept like babies! Highly recommend! On Las Rambla so access to shopping and the markets.

We had a wonderful stay at Sonder. Perfectly located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The staff there was so nice and attentive. The one thing I will say is that the hotel is located in Plaça Reial and people hang out in the Plaça until the early mornings, so make sure you utilize the ear plugs they give you. That shouldn't deter you from staying here. Great hotel, excellent location, wonderful staff. Would stay here again!

After a slightly troubled start with a room that was not optimal, we got a very good service from a great girl who did her utmost to find solutions. Good location, and the room we got was absolutely great! I would recommend upgrading from Queen room due to size and window. The nice receptionist made our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sonder. Perfectly located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The staff there was so nice and attentive. The one thing I will say is that the hotel is located in Plaça Reial and people hang out in the Plaça until the early mornings, so make sure you utilize the ear plugs they give you. The hotel is excellent, with extremely attentive staff that truly cares about making your stay memorable and comfortable. We were not crazy about the neighborhood, it was too touristy and gimmicky. Although with a couple of minutes there’s a spectacular restaurant called Viana which is excellent and would compare to many Michelin star establishments.

This hotel is beautiful! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We looked out on the square which was nice but it is very noisy all times of the day and night. Fantastic location, friendly and efficient reception staff. We loved that the room was ready 4 hours early (no charge). The view over the square was great, but the room was very well soundproofed so we slept well at night. Breakfast service was a little chaotic though and the team occasionally got the order wrong. They seemed a little inexperienced on the breakfast side. However the food itself was great and we enjoyed using the on site restaurant.

questa struttura a mio personale giudizio (sono peraltro spesso in viaggio) non merita le cinque ma neanche quattro stelle. Non capisco perchè non ci sia un minimo di controllo da parte dell'ente del turismo Catalano. Bagno sporco, Wi-fi non funzionante, frigobar vuoto, colazione senza un minimo di buffet e 20 minuti per avere un cappuccino imbevibile. Ma la cosa più incredibile è che essendo vuoto il frigobar scendo al piano terreno dove tra hall e bar saranno dimensionalmente poco più di una stanza per approvigionarmi dell'acqua e mi viene detto che il pagamento non può essere riportato sul conto della camera perchè bar e hotel sono gestioni diverse. E tanto altro.....

What a beautiful blend of old and new. This property has maintained the beauty of hard wood floors, exposed wooden beams, while giving all the amenities of a new hotel. Our favorite part was the vast courtyard where you can sit and eat and watch the people go by.
