When we booked I was told the hotel had a complementary shuttle that would pick us up when we arrived . I told the employee we were coming in on the river and were docking five miles away. They said that was no problem we could get a ride. I called the hotel when we arrived only to be told that wasn't possible. The person I spoke with said the shuttle doesn't run on the weekends.

No amenities - especially for a casino hotel. Hotel is in dire need of updates - staff says there is no money. Filthy carpets, no water pressure, smoke stench. Casino was fun - but will look at nearby hotels next time considering amenities and cost. The only benefit this hotel has is walking distance from the casino and that is not enough of a reason for us.

The room could use some TLC as the carpet was bumpy and the drapes were hanging down on one side due to missing hooks. Everything seemed to work well and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately it is not a quiet hotel due to the paper thin walls and the train running close to the hotel. There is no complimentary breakfast but free parking. It's a long walk to the casino and the enclosed walkway had a few spiders along the way. It could have used a good cleaning.

The bathroom sink had black hair in it. The commode has rust/stain around the bottom. The carpet is matted down and has multiple stains. The blackout curtains are stained. Also, the hotel charges $15.00 if you want to check in a few minutes early.

The room was disgusting. I accidentally booked a smoking room. The front desk refused to move me because I booked through hotels.com not because they didn’t have non-smoking rooms. There were cigarette butts in the bathtub. The room obviously wasn’t cleaned. Yuk!

Hallway carpets were filthy. Hugh stain on the room's carpet. Rest of the room was clean. Every hotel I have ever stayed in had a check in at 4, but if you were a little early, it was not big deal. This one, you could not check in until 4. If it had been busy, there could have been a wait to check in, however, it was not busy, so it made no sense for us to have to wait til exactly 4. Also, there is a train that passed the hotel at 11:30pm and blew it's whistle, until it is out of town. I asked at check out ant the lady told me, it came thru every nite at 11:30. There was another on around 2am.

The room to start was dirty. The bathtub didn't drain after my shower for hours. The tub was very dirty and the toilet was also. I have been going to Hollywood Casino for Boogie Nights for years. Never stayed at the casino figured it was to expensive. Well this time we did book a room because we also reserved a VIP booth at Boogie Nights. The price I thought wasn't bad we had 6 rooms booked and 12 ppl. in the VIP booth. That we booked. I was very disappointed. First, my room was not what I expected and Boogie Nights was not either. Our VIP booth had two couches and no other seating. So 8 ppl fit the rest sat on laps or stood outside the booth. Our server acted as if we were a bother. Not friendly at all. This is so sad because when we come to the casino we bring a large group of people. And I have bragged all about it. This time was such a disappointment 😔.

The rooms were just over the okay cleanliness line and the rooms were outdated. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly, there was only one towel in the bathroom for three people (we had to ask for more), the conditioner was out, the curtains were stained and had holes, and the beds were on the firm side, but if you are staying for only the convenience of having the casino nearby then it is good enough.

Very dirty, from the floor in the bathroom that had hershey kisses "flags", the toilet being filthy, the ottoman also had filth on it. Only gave us 2 sets of towels and then did not clean our room the first or second day, and did not see anyone to as for more towels, which really we should not have to do. For the price we paid per night one would think it would be in better condition and much cleaner. Would not stay here again.

The casino lights are bright and the room curtains don’t close causing a problem with sleep. If you’re on the wrong side of the hotel you will not sleep well and I’m sure the staff is well aware of this when you get your assigned room

Hotel side of the casino is located right alongside freight train tracks. The noise when a train comes by is deafining. They only come a few times a day, but when they come at night expect to be jolted from bed from rumbling and horns

Nice hotel. The shower is great. However if they give you a room in the wing of 244-280 or 344-380 and you are on the on the odd number side. There are active train tracks right outside of the hotel, also there is an intersection behind the hotel. The train shakes the hotel and blows the horn. 3-4 times over night. After midnight the horn is short beeps but it’s still loud. They fail to mention this gem in the hotel write up when you book. I put a video of the train on their Facebook page on the post about a job hire. Turn your volume up for the full accurate volume that you hear through the window

The hotel itself was clean, staff were friendly. What we didn’t like was that there were no room darkening blinds, only sheers. The lights from outside came in all night. The pillows were so uncomfortable as well as the mattress. I got little to no sleep.

The only complaint I have is we came down from the casino to grab our bags at 1055 and we were already locked out the room. The checkout time is 1100. It was easy for her to reset it but that was annoying!!

Check in took forever but only because they had computer trouble. They kept going down which made the line get very backed up. I was afraid it would make me late to the event we were in town for. Luckily they got us our room keys and everything was good after that and we made it on time! If it wasnt for the computers going down, im sure checking in wouldve went much faster. Everyone at the desk was so nice and helpful though!

I thought the staff at check in was not friendly at all. We arrived 14 minutes ahead of the 4pm check-in & was told if we wanted to check it RIGHT now it would be an additional $15.00! Also our room was on the first floor facing the parking lot & a car was in the parking lot blasting booming music & continued for 20 minutes & then a few minutes went by & it happened again. Very bad.

We arrived at 4:30 to find the hotel had no rooms available. We had to wait in the lobby while rooms were cleaned. There was no offer to move to another room type and they refused to compensate for our wait with anything. The staff were very apathetic and not helpful. I had reserved adjoining rooms on the top floor and we were placed in rooms on opposite ends of the hall on the 3rd floor. Put a really damper on our trip.

Upon arrival, there is no parking available. 3 nights and all 3 nights had to park in remote parking, which made for a long walk back to the hotel. Getting off on the 2nd floor elevator, first thing I noticed was how dirty, stained the yellow carpet was. Room was relatively clean. Unfortunately the 2nd floor is ground level with the Railroad tracks 50' away and train blows its whistle all the way thru town at 230 in the am is alarming. If making reservations, ask to be away from train tracks Staff was friendly and accommodating in meeting our needs. Maid service did not happen as they are short staffed so we had to stop by front desk and pickup towels and washrags. On a positive note: great location with other things to do than set in a room and watch tv. Close to Downton and local entertainment. Overall not a terrible experience just some room for improvement of the Hotels side.

Bed and pillow were comfortable room was clean but very dated lobby appeared dirty every chair. I want to sit down on look like it had been soiled multiple times was disgusting. Asked to check in two hours early since we arrived early and the room was ready they had to be greedy and charge us $15 for that I’ve never had another hotel ever do that Charged a $50 deposit basically in case we break or steal something I don’t think my address is the ghetto so I’m not sure why it would be assumed that I’m going to destroy their property was offended by that. The casino had almost no one working in there we didn’t go for the casino. We went for the concert venue, but we decided to walk through. It was a massive cave of cigarette smoke. They used to have a floor that was non-smoking and then I asked if they still did and they said no we have non-smoking in the back room, but you had to walk all the way through The smoking area, which was huge to get to it We have been looking forward to eating at the buffet, but that was closed down permanently poor selections for food choices one sports bar next time we’ll know not to stay at the hotel. We’ll stay at the Doubletree if we go to the Hollywood casino venue and we’ll eat out on the streets of Lawrenceburg. It look like there were quite a few nice restaurants there

I was hesitant at first to book here because I read a couple of negative ratings. I’m glad I booked! This is a decent place to stay…I will admit it wasn’t great but it was not terrible. Yes, the carpet has stains, there is a slightly musty odor and the rooms could use periodic deep cleaning. However…the location, surrounding amenities and the overall atmosphere was pleasant! I suggest management consider implementing a periodic deep cleaning for the rooms and elevators to eliminate the slightly unpleasant odors. The Final Cut Steakhouse was excellent!! A bit pricey but worth it.

The Asst Mgr. F&B at The Final Cut Steakhouse Horribly Rude, they don't need our money, so we went somewhere else. Its 5pm we didn't make reservations as we didn't know we needed to, we are from out of town, spending the night going to Kenny G , 2 guests' approach and she says it will be 8pm before anything is open, but inside the establishment tons of tables are empty, Oh well. Merry Christmas
