We had a 2 bedroom self contained unit which was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed for the week. A great location, easy to walk to the local shops and cafes one direction and an easy, scenic walk to the park en route to the beach in the other direction. The BBQ area has a gate meaning we could safely lock the kids in whilst using the communal bbq and table area with friends. A great accommodation option for large groups of families.

We stayed for four nights, really loved everything about it. We had the Riverview room which had an awesome view. Sandy and Richards, the hosts, were very accommodating. The pool and BBQ area were a bonus. Lots of trails and viewpoints to explore. Highly recommend Haven Waters!

We were pleasantly surprised at this property - so lovely & beautiful gardens. The room was fresh & clean, comfy bed, good hot shower & I especially noticed the little detail of having a grey washer for makeup! Once being a cleaner myself, I know how bad some women leave these after cleaning makeup off their face. Even after cleansing sometimes you still have residue and it gets all over the white washer (some even just wipe it on their bath towel). There were even 2 more blue washers in the drawer with 2 cleansing wipes. Well done Richard & Sandy! We plan to return in future.

From the moment I arrived Sandy made me feel so welcome. The check-in process was as absolute breeze and very friendly. I stayed in Room 11 the bed was so comfortable, WiFi was a breeze, air con worked, had a lounge, work desk, a nice little mini kitchen with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk & biscuits. The bathroom has been upgraded and the shower was good. The facility has a laundry for a small fee, pool & BBQ and is across the road from the river with easy walking access to a club and coffee shop. I recommend this place well worth the stay.

The rooms are super clean and super comfortable, especially the bed. The staff very friendly and informative with walks and directions to continue my journey. This place rates a lot higher for me than some of the big resorts that charge at least double the rates. My stay was short but very nice, The Idea of staying again is the test as to how good the visit was and I would have no hesitation staying again, I will visit again whenever passing through. Really liked staying here. We had a very spacious room upstairs with a comfortable king size bed. You also get members rates at the club a short walk from the motel. Would definitely recommend this place. We went for a walk before dinner and came across two of these Grey Nurse sharks in the inlet. The manager told us they had been seen by other guests.

It is an extremely good place to stay. Staff is very nice, room is new and very clean, also have all the facilities such as microwave, fridge, catering etc. swimming pool and BBQ area are very easy for people to use. Despite info saying the office was open till 8.30pm, it was unattended at 7.20pm so we rang the number listed to ask for the sofa bed to be assembled. Owner/manager Richard said he was offsite and could not help. It would have to wait until the next day. A few hours later, three of us were playing cards in our room and lost track of time. It was 10.20pm and Richard came to our door, Not to assemble the sofa bed but to chastise us and berate us for several minutes for being too noisy. He was extremely abrasive and would not stop going on despite us agreeing to stop playing cards. I have never encountered someone so rude in the hospitality field. Beware that full silence is expected after 9pm every night. The other staff were lovely, but we would not visit again due to Richard.

Needed a place for three adults and the one bedroom apartment suited us. The sofa bed was really comfortable and if you wanted to stay a couple of nights, it would be fine with basic kitchen and bathroom facilities. Exhaust fam wasnt working in the bathroom so left the window wide open but left everything damp in there. Apart from that, would stay again and recommend. Cafe 20 steps along the roadway served breakfast and easy lunch with the footpath along the river across the road. Orher North Haven shops are a 2 minute drive. Didnt go to the Bowling club which was walking distance as well.
