Loved all the activities available for kids, water views and wildlife. Cabin was very clean, love that we had a dishwasher and the deck was huge. Only negative is the parking for the garden view cabins (facing the water). The spots are so narrow, getting my toddler in and out of the car was impossible so we had to reverse out first to make room :)

This was a great place to stay. Right on Lake Macquarie. Very relaxing. Great cabin, staff and communication. When there was an issue with one of the toilets on site, or when aclean up neededto be done on the jumping pad, a text message was sent out letting us all know. Also liked the fairy lights around the very clean bbq just behind our cabin. And the sound of frogs in the creek behind us was amazing.

Really nice accommodation that was convenient for my purposes. Just a heads up about the non-signposted massive dip/drain in the road near the toilet block, which sneaks up on you in the dark, especially if you are in a small car! Staff were amazing!

We stayed in a budget cabin overnight. It was perfect for what we needed. Comfortable bed, aircon, ensuite and small kitchenette with a fridge. Also your own Bbq on the verandah. The park was very clean and the view of the beautiful lake was a nice surprise in the morning. Will recommend to family and friends

Very clean and comfortable cabin. Ours was a minute's walk to the beautiful lake. Impressed with the signs re not feeding bread to the ducks and why, and what the ducks could eat. Would recommend. Would stay again.

The shower head was broken. There was mould in the bathroom. There was no blockout blind on one of the windows which caused the permanently switched on outdoor lights to shine directly into the cabin. The garbage bins were overflowing and the stench was disgusting. The bins should be emptied every 2-3 days in peak season to prevent the foul smell and overflowing waste. Very disappointing given how much we paid to stay.

We stayed in a budget room, a tiny little room in a block of 4 rooms, with a big deck and 4 individual barbecues. We could see the lake from our doorway. The room was too small to sit and eat in, but the deck made up for that. It was basically comfortable, even though the bed was pushed up against the wall due to lack of room. There were a couple of small cockroaches in the room, which was a bit off-putting. It's a beautiful park, right at the lake's edge.

We stayed in a cabin which was well-equipped and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Neighbouring cabins and caravan in the compound followed rules regarding noise restrictions and other general park rules. Highly recommended. Will stay here again.

Very basic cabin. We were given a disabled room (not requested) so no storage at all in bathroom. Outdoor furniture filthy unable to be used. No coffee table to put a drink. Very expensive for what it was.

Bed was clean but that’s about it. Room was grubby overall, they didn’t even attempt to vacuum it. A couple of colleagues were staying there and they said theirs was the same. It was cheap but not cheap enough for that.

We have never been in such cramped accommodation in our lives. The double bed was up against the walls on two sides, and there was only one foot of floor space at side 3, and three feet of floor space on the fourth side. I told reception that it was too small for one person let alone two. We got an apology but no offer of compensation or future offer.

Asked for late check in as we had to travel from Brisbane, the young lady I spoke was friendly and I had no problem organising the later check in. We were only staying 2 nights to attend an 80th birthday celebration so we booked the budget room. It was enough for what we needed. The shower pressure and temperature was great. However budget room is exactly that, I wouldn’t book you want space and upper market room. It was clean and tidy, would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

There was a problem with the original booked cottage, however, staff immediately moved us to address the issue. Our accommodation had lovely water views, for a peaceful outlook. The accommodation was well appointed, clean, good value and well maintained.
