This was a beautiful little place to stay. Staff were excellent. Shopping was right out the doorway and close proximity to restaurants. Parking was a bit tricky. You have to pay 1900 yen per day for parking and it’s about a block away from the hotel in a parking lot by a little yellow house. Room was spacious and quiet.

I stayed at Kamakura Cocone Hotel for 4 nights in September. The room was clean and somehow spacious for Japan. The amenities are fair. You get a bottle of water every day plus a coupon for diner (usually soup and rice). There’s a free drink machine (coffee, tea). I would say personally their public bath made the difference. Staff was extremely accommodating. The room had all the amenities and everything was fully operational. The downstairs lobby has lots of comfortable seats if you need to wait. The lobby also was thoughtfully decorated. The free coffee machine was a bit of a busy spot, but right next to it was a sizable manga library. You can check out as many books as you want and take them to your room as long as you return them when finished. Great place to stay for families!

So many foreign tourists book this place and get really crowded, you need to time for using the public bath if you enjoy using it. Check out time is early, by 10:00. So it feels like a bit of rush.

We were given a choice of Japanese or American breakfast. Both were amazing. We extended our stay one night and had to change rooms. They held our luggage during the day, and allowed us to check back in early as our new room was ready. The hotels is a very short walk from Kamakura Station making it very convenient for using the train and local buses. It was very nice to have an on-site public bath with security for women guests. A nice surprise was their late night snack of miso and onigiri. The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming. It is also great that you are given the option of room cleaning or just getting fresh towels and pjs to save the planet.

Convenient location for Komachi Dori but on the other side of JR station so remains very quiet. A reminder to book parking ahead of time if you are driving to the location. Otherwise, it’s easy to find parking around but just no in and out privileges. We booked a family room for 4 but indicated only 2 people on Expedia. We called the hotel in advance to add the 3rd and 4th occupants and they will invoice when checking out.

Cute property, short walk from Kamakura station. Front desk was superb! They happily held our luggage until check in , and after check out. Nice spa, room was great. Only negative would be the carpet in the hallway. It was very dirty. It either needs a deep clean or replacement-many stains (we stayed on the first floor)

駅から近く、お値段も良心的で、助かりました。大浴場やお夜食サービスも楽しめましたし、フロントのスタッフさん達も感じがよかったです。気になった点は　部屋を出る度(カードキーを抜く度)にエアコンが切れてしまって、短時間出るだけでも暑くなるところ、部屋に椅子がないところ(狭いからでしょうか)が不便でした。　寒がりな私でも暑く感じたので、暑がりさんはさらに辛いんじゃないでしょうか。

前回泊まった時がとても良かったので、今回も泊まらせて頂きました。でも部屋にゴミが落ちていました。エレベーターホールが近かったので外の声がうるさかった。また夜食を遅い時間にもらいに行ったら、フロントマンに面倒くさそうな顔をされて残念でした。

We really enjoyed this hotel (1-night family stay). It's a 5-minute walk from the station (and therefore the starting point for all Kamakura's attractions) in a very quiet, semi-pedestrian street. The staff were very courteous, helpful and available, and there was even an employee perfectly fluent in English. The room (double with an extra bed) was large for a Japanese hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The only downside was that the room was too hot for our taste and we didn't want to turn on the air-conditioning in the middle of winter, so we slept with the window open (but as everything was quiet, it didn't keep us awake). [We didn't try the breakfast or the bath].

Lovely property! Nice public bath, not huge, but quite nice. The only odd thing was that when you check in, you must choose the time you will eat breakfast every day (no room for spontaneous) and you had to choose wether you wanted the Japanese or wester breakfast… I chose the Japanese breakfast which was lovely- the first day, but since it was exactly the same every day, it got a bit repetitive… Location is awesome, maybe a 7 minute walk to train station, surrounded by cute shops and restaurants…

Clean room. Clean facility. Night time supper rice ball and clam miso. Morning breakfast set is delicious. Next door adjacent have a very good fish sashimi shop. Surprisingly good quality at reasonable price !( compare to Main Street and enoshima restaurant) Enjoyable stay.
