The room was impeccably clean and cozy. Friendly staff. There is a restaurant on the main floor and they have amazing service and excellent food, great patio. Minden is such a cute little town. Would recommend to everyone.

very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.

It was a family run unique hotel that was very quaint.The room was clean, and staff were helpful. The major problem was the rooms on 2nd floor require carrying luggage up a very steep staircase. This was difficult for senior woman.

lack of food. no grab bar in bathroom. as I waited for my ride next morning I held door open for 10 people in 15 minutes..maybe a push button to open door?
