When we arrived, there was no staff. They had an automated check-in process. Six of us stood with the outer door open in the rain. I had problem with the check in and a voice on the other end of the call box recited my room number and entry code to the entire group of waiting people. None of the vending machines worked. The motion sensing lights had a couple of second delay which worried my wife about stepping into a dark hallway. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the lady who did work the desk sometimes was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good for this kind of hotel.

Easy to find. Lots of parking.Felt secure and well lit at night. The most warm and efficient welcome Beds and pillows very comfortable. Good soundproofing. Very good value breakfast. Ate next door at The steakhouse..Excellent steak and ice cream.

Das Hotel ist über Hotels.com zu teuer. Wir haben mit Frühstück 128€ gezahlt. Laut Anzeige kostet das Hotel aber nur 91€ plus 8,5€/Person Frühstück, 4€/Kind. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt am Hotel und die Zimmer sind relativ groß, leider gibts es keinen Aufzug und es gab ein paar etwas dreckige Stellen (z. B. die Klimaanlage oder die Ablage im Bad). Der Check-in erfolgt ganz leicht über einen Automaten und das Zimmer bekommt einen festen Code für die Öffnung der Tür. Leider hat unser Code am nächsten Morgen schon nicht mehr funktioniert und jemand musste uns die Tür öffnen. Das Frühstück war für den Preis wirklich gut. Zwar nicht so schön präsentiert, aber eine umfangreiche Auswahl aus Kaffeespezialitäten, Saft (Orange und Apfel), Wasser, Milch, 2 Sorten Müsli, Ei und Speck, Marmelade, Honig, Nutella, Baguette, Toast, Croissants normal und Schoko, Madeleines. Das ist Preis Leistung sehr gut! Die Zimmer und auch der Flur waren nicht so sauber, aber wohl noch ok. Bei uns im Flur wurde leider ab 6 oder 7 Uhr laut geflext und gebohrt. Alles in allem für 2 Sterne wohl ok.

It’s a standard and perfectly acceptable budget hotel. The place was clean, staff were friendly, it was safe and car park was well lit and in front of the hotel. Set back enough form the road to be fairly quite. Breakfast was normal continental but did have bacon and eggs, not special but adequate and good value. Fast food nearby and a short drive into town, just note not much open on Mondays nights.

This hotel was self check in. Needed to get a code (this was access to the front door and your room) after putting a credit card in at the door entrance. We were expecting a staffed reception. Of note, there is no lift in the building. We were on the 3rd (top) floor and after a long day riding our motorcycle, we struggled to carry all of our "gear" up the stairs. Another unexpected omission was a kettle. I must have missed that there was no kettle provided when I booked. The room was very basic, but the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok, continental with some cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. Neither of which was cooked to our liking. This hotel seemed more like a back-packer type place (to me) but was not priced accordingly. Basically, expensive for what it was. There was a restaurant (chain) not too far away but it seems a little out of town and as such not a lot around. Otherwise for a drink, it's a vending machine. We would not use this chain again.

My wife and I stayed for one night, en route from Italy to the ferry at Calais. The hotel is easy to find, it's very new and is situated about a mile from Verdun city centre. The car park was huge and, theoretically, protected by an electic gate. (In practice the gate was left open all night.) If you wished you could buy breakfast and, at other times of the day there are self service snacks / drinks machines. The hotel room was very clean and of a decent size. It had an en-suite shower room and a comfortable bed. All in all, the B&B Hotel was ideal for our over-night requirements.

No lift and having to haul our heavy bags up several flights of stairs was not what we wanted after a long journey. The room was really disappointing. The room itself was not clean with cobwebs visible. On the plus side, parking for our motorcycle was good and free. We did not opt for breakfast so cannot comment on this. All in all not the best B&B we have stayed in. We don’t understand why we were allocated a room with three beds when we booked a double room. We also must have been one of the first to check in yet we were given probably one of the worst rooms in the hotel!

Staff was really polite and friendly and helpful. Were do i start with the room 202 mould on the ceilings and a terrible smell all the time. I have stayed in this hotel before and was so pleased with the room breakfast is very good lots of choice. BB verdun if there's a problem with the room like mould, then do not put people in there to sleep.

Im Großen und Ganzen sauber, unkompliziertes Check-in und für eine Übernachtung völlig adäquates Hotel mit Frühstück. Der Geruch auf dem Flur und in den Zimmern war jedoch unangenehm. Verdun lohnt sich.

Es war uns bewusst, dass es ein sehr günstiges Hotel ist, trotzdem hätten wir für den Preis mehr erwartet. Beim Check-In am Automaten benötigten wir Hilfe, die wir auch prompt erhalten haben. Unser Zimmer im 3. Stock hatte viel Dachschräge und es gibt keinen Lift. Im Zimmer gibt es nur das Allernötigste z.B. nur ein Badetuch keine weitere Frotteewäsche und keinen Haartrockner. Dafür gab es Spinnweben im Bad. Das Frühstück für EUR 9.50 ist für das Gebotene am oberen Limit. Für die Zukunft zahlen wir lieber wieder etwas mehr für ein Hotel.

Chambre correspondant à nos attentes. Douche étroite mais eau bien chaude, le jet d'eau ne va pas trop en avant, il faut se coller au robinet. Sinon très bien pour nous dans l'ensemble. Seul bémol, pas de bouilloire pour se faire du thé ou un café, il faut forcément descendre à la machine.

Hôtel, idéalement placé, à quelques minutes du centre de Verdun en voiture. Parking privé, petit déjeuner avec du choix et très bon, chambre et parties communes propres. Par contre la clim ne fonctionnait pas, ça c’était le gros point négatif de ce week-end de deux nuits. Le soir de notre arrivée, on avait été à l’accueil pour faire réclamation d’une clim inexistante, et on nous a dit qu’en fait elle n’était pas activée et qu’il fallait appeler la centrale. Ayant des températures allant jusqu’à 30° en extérieur, et ayant notre chambre sous les combles, chambre famille pour quatre personnes, on a un peu étouffé durant les deux nuits. La clim a commencé à fonctionner le matin à 8h le jour de notre départ…

Zimmer sehr klein (konnte man aber vorher schon erfahren) sehr hellhörig, mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen, großer und kostenloser Parkplatz, sehr freundliches Personal.

Hôtel correct correspondant aux standards B&B. J’y ai déjà séjourné tjrs pour le boulot, mais là….5 chaînes de TV, même pas TF1. C’est dur quand on est en déplacement et qu’on est seul dans une chambre de B&B. Heureusement que les tablettes connectées existent !!!

This hotel was self check in. Needed to get a code (this was access to the front door and your room) after putting a credit card in at the door entrance. We were expecting a staffed reception. Of note, there is no lift in the building. We were on the 3rd (top) floor and after a long day riding our motorcycle, we struggled to carry all of our "gear" up the stairs. Another unexpected omission was a kettle. I must have missed that there was no kettle provided when I booked. The room was very basic, but the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok, continental with some cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. Neither of which was cooked to our liking. This hotel seemed more like a back-packer type place (to me) but was not priced accordingly. Basically, expensive for what it was. There was a restaurant (chain) not too far away but it seems a little out of town and as such not a lot around. Otherwise for a drink, it's a vending machine. We would not use this chain again.

Self check-in was overly complicated! Had to resort to calling the helpline to assist. We were allocated room 308 on the third floor. No lift and having to haul our heavy bags up several flights of stairs was not what we wanted after a long journey. The room was really disappointing. Very low ceiling which we found very difficult to avoid, being tall. The bathroom had a disgusting smell and we had to plug the sink and shower with towels. Definitely a drainage problem. The room itself was not clean with cobwebs visible. On the plus side, parking for our motorcycle was good and free. We did not opt for breakfast so cannot comment on this. All in all not the best B&B we have stayed in. We don’t understand why we were allocated a room with three beds when we booked a double room. We also must have been one of the first to check in yet we were given probably one of the worst rooms in the hotel!

When we arrived, there was no staff. They had an automated check-in process. Six of us stood with the outer door open in the rain. I had problem with the check in and a voice on the other end of the call box recited my room number and entry code to the entire group of waiting people. None of the vending machines worked. The motion sensing lights had a couple of second delay which worried my wife about stepping into a dark hallway. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the lady who did work the desk sometimes was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good for this kind of hotel.

The check in was stressful. We were checking in same time as another couple who also couldn't check in. Sent email code which didn't work. Booking details when entered were not recognised. Door codes did not work. When we called helpline were given completely different codes! Not great when you've been on road all day and just want to get in your room. Room was ok. Had to ask for another pillow. Shower was amazing though. Had a microwave which was convenient. Location was convenient for Verdun. Half hour walk into town.

Le soir de notre arrivée, on avait été à l’accueil pour faire réclamation d’une clim inexistante, et on nous a dit qu’en fait elle n’était pas activée et qu’il fallait appeler la centrale. Ayant des températures allant jusqu’à 30° en extérieur, et ayant notre chambre sous les combles, chambre famille pour quatre personnes, on a un peu étouffé durant les deux nuits. La clim a commencé à fonctionner le matin à 8h le jour de notre départ…

A great pit stop for us to visit the WW1 sights on our way South. Easy parking, great location walkable to Verdun centre. Friendly staff, big clean family room, warm shower and generous all you can eat breakfast. Only thing that could have been better would be kettle and tea/coffee in room

It’s a standard and perfectly acceptable budget hotel. The place was clean, staff were friendly, it was safe and car park was well lit and in front of the hotel. Set back enough form the road to be fairly quite. Breakfast was normal continental but did have bacon and eggs, not special but adequate and good value. Fast food nearby and a short drive into town, just note not much open on Mondays nights.

My wife and I stayed for one night, en route from Italy to the ferry at Calais. The hotel is easy to find, it's very new and is situated about a mile from Verdun city centre. The car park was huge and, theoretically, protected by an electic gate. (In practice the gate was left open all night.) If you wished you could buy breakfast and, at other times of the day there are self service snacks / drinks machines. The hotel room was very clean and of a decent size. It had an en-suite shower room and a comfortable bed. All in all, the B&B Hotel was ideal for our over-night requirements.

Dommage que ce soit une machine qui nous reçoit apres une longue route, malgré cela, la chambre est fonctionnelle et dispose du necessaire afin de passer une nuit, la literie est agréable, seul reproche serait le bac de douche tres glissant. Le petit dejeuner est tres bien et complet.

Das Hotel ist über Hotels.com zu teuer. Wir haben mit Frühstück 128€ gezahlt. Laut Anzeige kostet das Hotel aber nur 91€ plus 8,5€/Person Frühstück, 4€/Kind. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt am Hotel und die Zimmer sind relativ groß, leider gibts es keinen Aufzug und es gab ein paar etwas dreckige Stellen (z. B. die Klimaanlage oder die Ablage im Bad). Der Check-in erfolgt ganz leicht über einen Automaten und das Zimmer bekommt einen festen Code für die Öffnung der Tür. Leider hat unser Code am nächsten Morgen schon nicht mehr funktioniert und jemand musste uns die Tür öffnen. Das Frühstück war für den Preis wirklich gut. Zwar nicht so schön präsentiert, aber eine umfangreiche Auswahl aus Kaffeespezialitäten, Saft (Orange und Apfel), Wasser, Milch, 2 Sorten Müsli, Ei und Speck, Marmelade, Honig, Nutella, Baguette, Toast, Croissants normal und Schoko, Madeleines. Das ist Preis Leistung sehr gut! Die Zimmer und auch der Flur waren nicht so sauber, aber wohl noch ok. Bei uns im Flur wurde leider ab 6 oder 7 Uhr laut geflext und gebohrt. Alles in allem für 2 Sterne wohl ok.

Zelfs voor 1 Nacht zou ik hier niet meer terugkomen. het is niet schoon, klein en vrijwel geen extra faciliteiten. Wij kregen een kamer ingericht voor 1 persoon waardoor er te weinig handdoeken waren. Ontbijt was teleurstellend weinig opties geen vleeswaren. enige positieve is een goede bewaakte parkeerplaats en een terras in de zon. Heeft geen bar of restaurant. Meneer achter de balie was verder aardig en behulpzaam.

The Hotel was clean and tidy. Our had a very sloping roof wich made it difficult for me to around the far side. There was no lift and being on the third floor made it hard going getting the case up. Town was nice and easy to walk to. We were pleased with the air-con. No staff to great you and help at check-in We had an enjoyable stay in Verdun.
