Excellent location, very near the Zócalo and several metro stations. Spacious rooms, kept very clean. Most of the staff were very welcoming.

Stayed here 3 nights, good location. Room is clean, bed is very firm. If you stay, read the fine details. A lot of rooms have a bathroom down the hallway which is shared by other rooms. It’s an individual shower/toilet that is used by other guests. The price is good. There’s a restaurant right next to it. Good food.

I have stayed here several times in the last 12 months, and each time I have found my room to be spotless. The bathrooms are clean, no mould spots, the beds are comfortable and the bedding also is spotless. Sure, it is a very old building (there is a plaque on the outside wall which says that someone of note died there in the 1850s) and it retains a lot of its original character. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the reception desk is manned 24 hours per day. The hotel is located in the Historic Centre of Mexico City, about a 10 minute walk from the zocalo. Several pedestrians only streets make this a colourful and interesting exercise. I have not felt uncomfortable or uneasy walking round this area in the evening. The restaurant does great breakfasts, also lunch and dinners. If you are looking for the Hilton, this hotel is not for you, but if you are looking for a basic but clean, comfortable hotel, Hotel Isabel should be right for you.

We come here for years, the hotel is in a great location, safe, great staff, very clean, I could not find a grain of dust anywhere. Also, the restaurant attached to the hotel is very convenient, very nice staff, print service.

Todo muy bien el hotel tiene un estilo antiguo pero bien conservado,único detalle que hubo un día que no barrieron, si sales por la noche todo muy tranquilo para salir de antro y a caminar ya que hay siempre policías alrededor me tocó una habitación en el 4to piso y tenía una vista gelialm ala torre latino y al centro de la ciudad sin duda me volveré a hospedar con Uds.

Great location in the heart of the historic center of Mexico City. Like a lot of the historical center, the hotel is old and a great classical building! beds were comfortable, rooms are big and very basic. Great floor to ceiling doors on the balcony! My only complaint was that it was noisy outside most of the time.

En nuestra habitacion hacia falta ventilacion. La unica ventana era la del baño.

Pros - Centrally located in historic downtown, old architecture nice, beds firm, bathrooms clean, onsite restaurant for easy breakfast. Cons - Street facing rooms are noisy especially neighboring roof top disco is loud until 3 or 4 AM. Inside facing rooms much quieter but not much air flow or breeze, so hot.

The Hotel Isabel is well located, a short walk from the Zocalo and in the other direction the Belles Artes, useful as it was pick-up point for tours. It was very atmospheric especially the courtyards and my room was large, airy and had a balcony. But it was noisy outside on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Very basic hotel, good location! WiFi on and off which is extremely frustrating….staff polite and friendly…pretty inexpensive place to stay in the historic center!

Es un poco antigua, entiendo que no se puede modificar. En general todo bien salvo el piso de madera que es ruidoso

部屋は静かで毎日水やシャンプーなどのアメニティーをもらえるが冷蔵庫がないのが不便でした。

El hotel está bonito y al menos en mi estancia todo el personal muy amable, lo único que me incomodaba es que el suelo de madera hacía mucho ruido cuando caminábamos por la habitación

It is a very nice old building with a good and large room, friendly staff and an overall good experience. The location is also very good, you can do the most important sightseeing in one day on your own by walking: Plaza de la Constitutión, Catedral Metropolitana, Torre Latino and Templo Mayor. On side downside, the central location means it is a pretty loud place to stay. A 21 million people city never sleeps.

Un buen lugar para descansar y el personal muy atento

The staff was professional and helpful. Coming in on a red-eye flight, I showed up at the hotel at 7:30 in the morning. Check in is at 2:00pm, abd I was just hoping to store my bags until I could get my room. I was very tired from not sleeping all night. The employee at the counter said that since a room was ready, they would let me get in then, almost 7 hours early! Talk about good service.

No es la primera vez que me hospedó en esté hotel y siempre que regreso recibo la misma atención y buen servicio de cada persona que trabaja en este hotel 🏩

De entrada la actitud del resepcuonista un poco nefasta , creído y una expresión como si ya supiéramos sobre el hotel. Después la entrada al vi uaero fue fea ya que huele mal, enseguida , como veníamos cansados quisimos prender el abanico y no prendió , nos trajeron otro y que creen , si prendió , pero el aire lo echaba por los lados , en vez de darnos coraje , nos dio risa . Nota: los resepcuionistas del turno matutino excelentes

Old Hotel, convenient location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always took care of us. Little noisy from the street but worth it for the walking distance to the center of the city.

El hotel es una buena opción en una ubicación privilegiada...su relación costo beneficio es buena. Es una opción perfecta para ir al centro a realizar negocios, compras o solo de visita sin gastar mucho en un lugar seguro que cuenta las comodidades básicas para tu estancia. La Mayoría del personal (no todo) tiene vocación de servicio, son amables y dispuestos a ayudar. El restaurante tiene buenos precios y aunque no tiene un menú amplio, da suficientes opciones para comer aceptablemente y de manera higiénica. Punto extra...La Señorita Karen en recepción fue amable y rápida para resolver dudas y problemas. Punto negativo...el internet mejoro desde mi ultima estancia, (considerando que la vez anterior no funciono) pero en definitiva sigue siendo un servicio con mucha deficiencia, muy lento. Trate de conectarme al servidor de mi empresa y fue imposible, tuve que usar el telefono. Por ultimo el chico de recepción a mi llegada necesita entrenamiento de servicio, abrió la puerta sin dar la bienvenida o cuando menos saludar, toda la interacción fue bastante pobre con la sensación de que no quieren atenderte. Probablemente el único momento no agradable de mi estancia.

Real vintage charm, with a tasty and economical restaurant on the premises. Old fashioned with old fittings carefully maintained. Excellent location close to Bellas Artes and the Zocalo. Excellent public transportation close by and very walkable.

Perfect location to walk the city. It's wn older hotel that has a classic style. The restaurant in the lobby has a wonderful full breakfast. I would recommend and I will stay here again.

L'hôtel est correct mais en quelques années le quartier est devenu épouvantable, hyper bruyant et comme les fenêtres laissent tout passer, mieux vaut prévoir des boules quiès...

Liked being in the Historic District, close to museums & the Zocalo. Staff was helpful, room was simple and affordable, restaurant on the premises was convenient, location felt safe. Driver Benito was reliable and pleasant.

Un lugar con mucha historia, muy bien cuidado y su personal, muy amable, además el restaurant sirve muy buena comida y sus precios son bastante razonables

Es una vieja casona o edificio otrora sede de alguna oficina del gobierno, segun se me dijo. Tuvo mejores tiempos y vio mas explendorosas epocas. Pero ahora necesita bastante sino remodelacion total, si una extrema cirugia. La recepcion es decrepita, como para una pelicula de horror de Netflix. Tiene una quitectura que con un rescate adecuado se veria esplendorosa. Necesita muebles, que esas lamparas de techo vuelvan a su estado original. Esos munecos de tamano humano que tienen ahi sentados a un lado de la recepcion, por Dios! Parecen sacados de un circo pobre. En general la recepcion es decrepita y ruinosa. El staff tampoco se ha modernizado. Prohiben visitas a los huespedes! Como si todos los que llegan ahi estuvieran haciendo sexo turismo! Solos familias algunos con familia local qur quisiera venir a vernos! Ridiculo! Lo unico bueno es el resturante. Aunque de nuevo la decoracion no es acogedora.
