Alles top. Extra-Kosten für den Hotelparkplatz für 24 Stunden liegen bei 12, Euro. Tax pro Person und Tag 3 Euro. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Das Zimmer war ein bisschen staubig, aber ansonsten sauber und ordentlich. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Ausstattung ist gut. Wir waren eine Nacht dort zum Zwischenstopp. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Un peu déçu, sauna en réparation. Gros soucis, une seule chaine à la TV suite à un changement d(opérateur ? Aucune solution trouvée ? Ce n'est pas digne d'une 4 étoiles. Impossible de parler à un responsable de l'hôtel ?

No milk pods in the room for tea. Bar had minimal choices and closed to early at 9pm.

Das Hotel bietet eine recht gute Altstadt nahe Lage. Es befinden sich auch ein paar Restaurants in unmittelbarer nähe. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sicherheit bietet die Zimmerkarte, ohne die es nicht möglich ist mit dem Aufzug in die Zimmerbereiche zu kommen.

Hotel was clean and my room was large, bathroom shower was dirty and their wasn’t really any water pressure but other then that it was a good spot.

Väldigt trevligt boende med gångavstånd till centrum. För oss som kom med bil var det väldigt uppskattat med stor privat parkering där vi kunde lämna bilen tryggt. Rummet och hela hotellet kändes väldigt rent och fräscht. Riktigt god och varierad frukost

Výborná poloha hotela, možnosť lacného parkingu (12€/24hod.). Bohužial dobrý pocit mi kazili staré koberce v izbách i na chodbách - pocit znečistenia. V 4* hoteli treba tiež venovať viac pozornosti pohodliu - 2 vankúše, mäkkšie periny, telové mlieko v kupelni, ... Vela detailov, ktoré tvoria celok! ;) ..ale ešte prídeme ;)

Breakfast is a buffet with a decent selection, non-dairy and lactose free milk available and well as gluten free bread. Found a great pizza place only 3 minutes away from the hotel.

Hotel was very clean inside and good value. Only downside was the single bed in my room was not that comfortable, but my fault for ordering a room without a double

There was some very strange smell in bathroom. And air conditioning was kind of loud, so we slept with open window (noise from street was less disturbing than noice from air-con). Everything also was very good.

Comfortable hotel and easy access to old town. Great breakfast, very clean and amazing staff. The rooms were great, but maybe a little warm. Great beds. Only thing I missed was some English channels on the TV, such as news and BBC world service

Very clean and comfortable all staff very friendly and helpful , check in was a breeze very well organised .room was a good size with a fully opening window great for ventilation because sadly the A/C was weak so the window was a big bonus . Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with quick and attentive staff in the room .Room was always serviced and there was an in room safe box , the area around is a mix of business and residential near Bank of Slovakia HQ and Radio Slovakia , there are tram bus lines steps away and its around 15 mins to the main train station on foot . It took about 10 mins to walk into the old town just follow the street. My only gripe and it was an irritant was the poor wifi which worked as and when it sifted which was frustrating , also were it not for the window the weak AC would have been a bug , However my biggest bug bear is the trend across many hotels to use super soft pillows incredibly uncomfortable , no support they are common in so many places and so irritating who chooses these things ? That said I did like this hotel the staff are very good .

Wedding party at hotel on first night with loud music that could be heard in the room late at night into early hours. Expected better for a 4 star hotel. Otherwise all was good, room was comfy and clean.

I had time with door between the rooms. I could hear how speak and even snoring people in this room. Also very loudly people spoke outside all the time and all cleaning from the stuff members i could hear. So not so peaceful. Not too close to the center as well, need walk 30 minutes? Also was surprised to pay city tax 14 euros. But everything else was okay. Big bed, nice bath tub, nice stuff, tasty food. Also view was not too good , because there is construction. I would say 6-7 from 10.

Hôtel situé a 10 min à pied du centre ville Calme et très propre La climatisation de notre chambre ne faisait pas beaucoup de froid, on a eu très chaud pendant la nuit. Le petit déjeuner est très divers et variés pleins de bonne chose notamment de chose typique de Slovaquie !

Hotel was ok, about 20 mins from old town , the staff weren't particularly friendly. The breakfast was ok but cooked food was cold whereas the bedroom was way too warm.

Had a very nice stay and the check in staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Is quite handy for the railway station and around 10 minutes to walk.

The room was clean and spacious, the area whilst on the main road and a 10 minute walk into town, was deserted by 7pm but taxis were reasonable. What reaally lets the hotel down is the staff- reception not as unfriendly as the breakfast team, who were bordering on hostile. I couldn't find a couple of things and they were actually rolling their eyes! My toast got stuck behind the grill and began to burn and they were so rude - i actually cancelled the following mornings breakfast as i would of rather go without than eat in there again.

Pre Check In : I informed through Hotels.com that my flight will arrive late in the night and I received a confirmation from the hotel very quickly Location : Excellent. Choice for 4 different tram lines within in a few minutes walk from the hotel. Check In : My flight got delayed & I arrived at the hotel at 1 AM and the check in process was very quick and efficient. Room : Good size room for two people. The mattress was very comfortable as well. Breakfast : Multiple choice of Veg, Non Veg & Desserts will suit most people. Check Out : Quick and Efficent Luggage Storage : A secure room is available and you are provided with a number to be used for collection. I will definitely stay here again. A few recommendations Bed Room The plug sockets in room 309 was located behind the bedside lamps & we had to pull ahead the lamps to access it. More sockets on the table will help. A printout with the Channels on TV & the language will be useful as I went through the channels multiple times to find an english channel. The pillows ar super soft. I would recommend having a choice of two pillows in the room for people who prefer harder pillows. Bath Room A soap holder in the shower will also help as you have to keep it on the floor and are in danger of slipping in the shower. A couple of hooks to hold the bath towels will also be useful.

My second stay here at the Saffron Hotel. Yet again the service and friendliness was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff who dealt with me and especially Klaudia(spelling??) Who was helpful with local advice.

Hotel Saffron is a very nice and well-kept hotel near the old town of Bratislava. Within a 15-minute walk you can reach the historic city centre with all its attractions. The hotel is situated in a quiet location, a bit out of the centre. Restaurants, cafés, etc. are not in the immediate vicinity and you always have to walk a bit. The hotel is very modern and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was very very good, as the buffet has everything you need for a substantial breakfast. The staff is very friendly and always helped us when we had a question. The parking is perhaps a bit expensive at 12€ per night, but unfortunately there is no other way to park the car more cheaply as parking in Bratislava is generally very expensive. All in all, a nice stay in a good hotel.

Wrong side of town, but Hotel Saffron takes extra measures to protect their guests. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great!

Absolutely dreadful ! The hotel overlooks a giant building site the size of many football pitches with concrete and cement mixtures and rubble ! The air conditioning stank and the lady at the front desk couldn’t even read my writing despite the fact I was a teacher for many years and made me rewrite it ! Absolute garbage of a hotel !

Fin, ren hotell med mycket bra service, speciellt från receptionister. Området ligger inte så nära gamla stan, inte det bästa läge, det fanns bara ett par restauranger, kinesisk och kebab. Hotellet hade bar och några maträtter, inte den bästa.

Pleasant stay in Bratislava, 10 mins walk from the Old Town.

Absolutely lovely hotel great location 10 min to train station 10 min to old Town centre 3 min to Airport bus stop.Althogh I would recommend walking to the train station to catch this bus as there are more ticket machines and I didn't notice one at the hotel stop and they check tickets regularly!

It was a pleasant stay. The hotel in near the city center and facilities are in good condition. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was nice but the variety of pancakes, waffles and pastries needs improvement. No sleepers are provided you have to buy them for 2 euros. I was expecting to find more coffee options like cappuccino from a 4 star hotel and also Nutella.
