Check-in was prompt and the service was great. GOOD: The room had a cool layout, the shower was great and the bed was comfortable. BAD: There were holes on the couch, burn marks and gang graffiti on the refrigerator and desk surfaces, the TV didn't work, the toilet was leaking onto the floor and the sink faucet shot water everywhere. If you got lucky, you could find parking by the rooms, if not you parked across the alley. It sucks because the condition of the room is really the fault of previous patrons not taking care of the place. I would stay there again because the location was near family.

Small parking area (have to double park unintentionally). Water drain plugged so puddle when showering. Dirty floor so dont step after showering. Other than that, decent room with various charge ports, tv ports, and good service.

We only stayed one night so it was worth what we paid. Staff was excellent and room was decent. Mattress could use some upkeep because you can tell a child was in there before and ate Cheetos and got it on the mattress. Sheets were clean though and bathroom is really pretty. Parking on the other hand felt like my car might get broken into. I like to have my vehicle on property grounds not across an alley behind the hotel. Overall decent place for an over night stay.

Parking was awful. Limited parking in front and patrons took the liberty of double-parking and blocking folks in. There's additional parking across the alley in another lot behind the building if you're bold enough to park back there. The rooms are pretty old, lots of wear and tear. No place to put anything in the shower so you have to set soap, towels, shampoo etc. out on the toilet seat. Drying towlels are stained and stiff. We went out and purchased our own. Stained sofa and freezer needed to be de-iced really bad. Barely got anything in there. A few of the over the bed lights did not turn on. This location is only good if you need a place to lay your head. Don't look for or expect any other comforts.

When I got to the place I found out that Expedia had canceled my room cause my cc didn't go through, but the nice lady at the counter still gave me a room at the same low rate and ran my cc and it worked just fine and I was able to get a room. my room was a very nice size, the AC worked great, it was clean, and parking is not so good but it's Whitter parking issue everywhere especially uptown

However, the bedsheets were stained, there were roaches that would come out in the restroom, barely any water in shower, dirty/dusty A/C unit, and our room reeked of cigarette smell, despite requesting a non-smoking room. Forget, trying to sleep well, with the constant noise from outside cars and people. Also, they definitely do not have enough parking, once we were even told to just park our car in the alley. Wifi? The mattress was terrific, super comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water. The modern feel made it seem like the room was clean. It was not! The floor was filthy! I asked for it to be cleaned and no one came to clean my room in 7 days. 7 days of trash and left over take out piled up. Bed linens felt cheap and not that clean. Several lights did not work. Several plug outlets did not work. The jacuzzi tub did not work. They did not provide washcloths. I was told they were out, the first two nights I used hand clothes to wash. I went out and bought some washcloths. No coffee maker. There was a microwave and mini fridge. I will never stay at a Travelodge again. My bill was over $1000.00! I expected way more. I asked to be refunded for my last 3 days and I was told it wasn’t possible.

I was thankful to be able to find a room last minute. When i got to the desk the lady was friendly but didnt speak up and never stood to greet you so it was hard to understand her. She handed me my key i got to my room and immediately noticed the sheets were not changed. There were red and yellow stains, pillow cases were wrinkled and stained. I went to the desk again. No apology was offered. She gave me another room and asked if i used the room! As if she was just going to offer a dirty room to the next person. I got to the second room, again sheets were not changed pillow cases had makeup on them. I found the floor around the table was sticky and had a Popsicle stick on the floor, broken lady razor in the shower hairs all over shower wall and bathroom door, freezer was so full of ice nothing would fit there, remote had no battery cover, shower took 10 minutes to get hot, looked to be dried flowers in the a/c unit, and the ice machince outside was disgusting. On top of that the parking was very tight.

We chose this hotel after reading reviews and thinking it was the best option in the area, but unfortunately, it was nothing like what was promised. The first room we were given was awful sheets had stains, the pillowcases and blankets had holes, and the entire room smelled like cigarettes. It had the same issues plus mold around the bathtub and edges of the bathroom. It honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Yes, the hotel has been “renovated,” but clearly the cleaning and upkeep are completely neglected. During our stay, housekeeping never came to clean our room we had to go out of our way to ask for fresh towels every single day. We felt stuck because everything else nearby was way more expensive, but this experience completely ruined our trip. Definitely not worth the money, and I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Went hoping for an easy hotel for our trip, but instead we got a literal hotel from hell. Our bed sheets had hair on them and were dirty. We found roaches in our room. Luckily we didn’t need a smoke alarm because if we did ours was wide open and held no batteries. One time we heard people fighting in the room next to us and we called the lobby for the hotel because we were genuinely terrified for them to not do anything about it and for us to attempt, yet fail to find another place to stay. While the prices might seem cheaper than most places I would spend the extra dollars to stay else where.

The motel is remodeled and modernized, but still feels cheap. The towels were old and dingy, the pillows old and lumpy, the blanket old with cigarette burns and dirty, microwave door broken. It’s located on a busy street with lots of traffic, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything:-(

Definitely nothing like the pictures, it was old and dark. Beds were very squeaky and noisy, there is no sound proofing, you hear everything.

If you don’t want to be woken up at 8am by a coach running drills with kids right next door, or lots of traffic noise, don’t stay here. Nothing felt very clean. The comforter had cigarette burn holes and the towels were thin. The pillows were tiny and lumpy, and the mattress was like a rock. The AC unit so dirty and the tv wasn’t set up. Cheap TP. The Doubletree nearby was the same cost and much nicer. Skip this choice would be our recommendation.

Staff is great here, Victor helped me out the entire time I was there. The guy does a great job and I appreciate that he was willing to give me an extra 30min for checkout when I woke up late. Victor is a great employee and a great human being, thank you Victor you deserve a raise brother! Will be staying here again.

Terrible service! Their house keeping wouldnt knock on all doors and when they missed us i went to the front desk to ask for our necessities like towels and she would get annoyed and tell me i need to do it when housekeeping comes around and there were time when i did ask housekeeping but they would forget and the front desk lady would still have an attitude about DOING HER JOB. The place is very nice but i would never stay here again due to front desk attitude

The clerk was very polite and helpful. My only complain is the road noise being a bit loud due to it being right next to a major street. Also location is very good because it is close to several stores, restaurants, pharmacy, and uptown Whittier for entertainment.

A lot of all night noise from the traffic on Whittier Blvd. Plus there was a man under the influence of drugs out in the parking lot slamming his car, trunk, hotel doors! it went on for hours from 10:00pm - 3:00am. If not longer, he was walking around his car slamming the doors and making as much noise as he could possibly make. I was exhausted, never again will we stay there. The room was not as clean as we liked, the floors where dirty.

It's an urban motel in the middle of Whittier. If crashing just one night, go for it. I picked it for the location to my meetings for work. If staying longer, I'd stay elsewhere. It has a roof, a bed, a shower and seems safe enough.

Room floor and mirrors weren't cleaned before we stayed. Mirrors had initials carved into it and TV had 2 channels and a damaged screen. No coffee maker or coffee, but small fridge and freezer and microwave is nice. Soaps and towels provided, although the scents are kinda masculine and the towels could be better. Maybe bring your own. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even with these small issues, I would stay here again.

Home was not very clean it was Dusty and rappers were still left from previous guess. Bathtub and sink Had hair from previous guests Spiders and small insects we're crawling in the bathroom. The phone in the room was not connected so could not contact front desk show the front desk manager there was no cord connected to the phone and needed phone in the room to be connected in case of an emergency manager never returned with the cord did not have a phone in the room. No closet or coffee maker in the room very basic refrigerator was not very clean.

The man there be careful he showed way to much intrist with my 4 yr old son I sould not have had to tell him my and my son medical conditions and personal business as to why I had to gather my son the way I did and he lied the lady there I checked out with her a day early and he told expidea I never checked out I still ain't got my money back be careful and there is no room sarvices no nothing they have poor comcation with there housekeeper and just bad

The housekeeping was very rude when I asked for some towels. Told me that they were going to give me towels but later came back from a wedding walked in my room and it was still the same, it was not clean and neither she gave me towels or sheets for the bed. Bottom line she did not cleaned my room. Bad service from the housekeeping and very rude. I will never go back to that place again. I do not recommend that place.
