Basecamp Tahoe South

This is such a cool spot with a great Tahoe vibe. Some work could be done around the maintenance of this building… our smoke detector was going off upon arrival… it was “fixed” then started going off 3 hours later… and then again at 10:30 at night… fortunately staff was still there to assist. Our TV was not working- showing no signal- again, staff was fabulous in coming to fix and address it. The on- site coffee shop was amazing! Nice staff and delicious coffee! We enjoyed the Beer garden area- such a fun spot, played some ping- pong- (again they could use a new net- a simple maintenance item). We went to enjoy the hot tub above the lobby, but it was luke warm… and the jets didn’t work. The rooms were very clean, parking was tight, but easy. Staff were super nice and helpful. With a little TLC, this place could be a shining gem!!

Nice hotel close to everything. Only bad thing is the shower was pretty small in our room.

Perfect for staying on a ski trip to Heavenly

We had a great time here. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The hotel was super cool. We loved the fire pits and the spa on the deck. Very close to the beach and the shops & restaurants. 10/10 would recommend.
