Hanabi Hotel

I loved the tatami flooring and the futons were comfortable. Very quiet and in such a great location. Food and the train station were only a short walk away. Decor may be outdated and floors slightly stained if that matters to you, but I enjoyed my stay regardless. Microwave, stove, electric kettle, and small dishes were provided. It had everything my group and I needed.

大久保付近では良心的な価格の宿です。　和室に布団ですが、寝るだけなので問題無かったですが、防音だけは褒められませんね…　24時間出入り自由なのも良かったです。

My friend and I stayed here during our vacation in Tokyo. The place was great for its price and we had no issues with it. The staff at the front desk mostly spoke English, so check-in/check-out and other inquiries were easily handled. The whole place is clean as you're supposed to take off your shoes and place them in a shoe locker at the entrance, which ensures the whole hotel stays shiny. The room was decent in size, with the bathroom being the only letdown. There was no place to change in there, but otherwise it was fine. It was a small bathroom with just enough room to do your business and shower/take a bath. For the price point, it was a nice luxury to have your own personal bathroom. The sleeping itself was also pleasant. The room is a tatami room, so you sleep on a futon on the floor. Zero issues, it was comfortable and easy to put away. The room also had some great luxuries. Personal kitchen for simple cooking, an aircon, a fridge, a kitchen sink, a microwave, hair dryer, etc. The extras more than made enough for any other shortcomings about the room and made the stay very pleasant. Overall, this was a great hotel and if I'm ever in need of staying in downtown Tokyo again, I would choose this place.

新大久保駅が近いので観光に良かったです！部屋も広い、細かいことを気にしなければ最高です。 駐車場はフロントに電話すればホテル前に停めることができました。2台くらいは停めれそうです。

Grateful that we were allowed to check in an hour early. The futon on tatami floor wasn’t so bad. Location is great- so close to JR Shin Okubo train station & lots of restaurants & shops, including Don Quijote which is open 24 hrs & 7-11. It has a stove if you want to cook but we did not use it. Ample space for us to sleep & our luggages. Only drawback is that we have to carry our heavy luggages to our room as they did not allow us to roll them on the wooden floor. Also, front door was hard to lock from the outside. Overall, it was a good one night stay for us family of 5.

The location is good and convenience, very near to JR train station. But the room charges was not worth with comparing to the room quality, lack of room amenities (such as with tooth brush but no tooth paste, etc.), lack of hotel facility (no laundry in hotel, need go outside of hotel). Environment not feeling secure especially for children.

駐車場有りとなっていたが、ホテルには駐車スペースは３台分しかなく、近くの駐車場に行くにも狭い路地を進むしかない。ただし、狭い路地の入り口に車両通行禁止の看板が置かれ路地に入れず、駐車場を探して彷徨うこと４０分、ホテル従業員（韓国人）に聞いたところ、車両通行禁止の看板は移動させて通行して良いとのことだった。寝具はあったが枕カバー、布団カバー、シーツはありませんでした。ウォシュレットもなし。ホテル付近はセブンイレブンやドンキホーテがあり、新大久保駅まで徒歩5分と立地は良いです。ホテルとは関係ありませんが、ホテル付近は夜間、路地に中東系の外国人がうろついており、物々交換をしていたりしてます。特に危険は感じませんでしたが、異様な雰囲気でした。ただ宿泊するだけなら良いかもしれません。

신오쿠보역에서 아주 가까움, 스이카카드 1000엔 충전하고 도쿄 서브웨이 패스 72간 끊고 시내에서 3박4일 편하게 다녔어요. 숙소는 지하철역 가까운 곳이 최고!! 잠만 자고나갔다가 저녁에 오니까요~ 근처 상권있어서 편했고 사장님 한국분이라 좋았어요. 오래된 느낌있지만 수건, 칫솔 매일 새로 준비해주시고 밥솥, 전자렌지, 전기포트, 인덕션, 그릇, 수저 심지어 청소기랑 밥상까지 딱 필요한거 다 있어서 넘 편했습니다.

장점 : 4인 식구에게는 침대방이 참 애매한데 아예 침대도 없고 신발 벗고 사용하는 맨바닥 방이라서 편했습니다. 식기류, 싱크대, 전자레인지가 있어서 편리했습니다. 인덕션과 전기포트도 있었으나 써보지는 않았습니다. 인포 직원분들이 친절하였고 한국어가 가능해서 편했습니다.방에 에어컨도 시원하게 잘 나왔습니다. 신오쿠보 역이 5분이내 거리라서 이동이 용이합니다. 단점 : 화장실이 너무 좁습니다. 물이 잘 안빠집니다. 어메니티가 일회용 칫솔, 바디클랜저, 샴푸, 헤어컨디셔너가 전부입니다. 나머지는 외부에서 구매해와야합니다.

The location is nice and close to restaurants, convenience stores, train station and laundromat. The staff is helpful and quick response. The hotel is clean and neat. I like this hotel.

We saw bugs on the floor of the room when we arrived and could hear noise from other rooms. Wouldn't stay there again.

Horrible hotel in a shady area. No beds, water dripping in the bathroom, & lots of fungus on all the walls.

It's very close to metro station, you can have a lot of food and entertainment options. The hotel is more like a hostel, it's clean, but all the the bedding looked old. By the way, the check out time is 10AM

Mattresses & pillows look old & unclean.Should change them. Had to squeeze into bathroom. Most things look dated. Aircon is noisy.

We had asked prior to our check in about bag storage, which was confirmed. As we arrived, we noticed no one was at the front but there was a sign to check in with a form, which was not provided. Not knowing what to do, we followed a vacuuming noise to ask for assistance, but the staff member was just not pleasant to interact with. In total, we encountered two staff members during our time here, one was kind and the other... not so much. There was a noticeable smell walking into the elevators and rooms. Bathroom was not clean and the tub would not drain, it would get clogged within 10 seconds of us turning on the faucet. The toilets also made such a loud and long noise (>1-2 minutes every time we flushed). We brought up the draining issue to the staff members, thought they had taken care of it, but after we came back from a long day, it was never resolved. The other two mornings, (9-10AM) we were about to start our day and went down to the front to ask for assistance again with the tub but there was no one so we gave up on asking them. The hotel is fine if you do not intend to spend a lot of time here. But for someone who looks forward to a nice shower after walking a long day, I would look for a hotel that does not have plumbing issues. And are pleasant to speak to the whole time...

It very clean and supplies like clean towels very single date and quiet place with the best security !

Near to transportation but you will not love to stay in this place as place is dirty. The bath area is clogged so when you are showering your legs will be in a pool of water.

Great option for tatami mat style room. I enjoyed my stay and hotel was clean. I would for sure come back!

Small rooms, limited services, uncomfortable futons and no where to sit in room. Very basic for cost.

It was very clean , staff was great and helpful. Washroom was very tiny and the wifi was awful didn’t work at all.

The night staff (korean guy) very nice and pay attention to the guests. Inonly spend one night and move to other hotel, since i cant sleep with roll bed on the floor. The bathroom so small, but i guess it was standart for this kind hotel in Tokyo.

The wifi connection was a hit and miss, otherwise could give it a 5 stars considering the low price.

Air conditioner is too small for the room, no extra fan staff, nothing they can do about it. Staff entered room while we were out and turn off air conditioner. Room super hot when we return and won’t cool down. Staff is not at front desk most of the time, impossible to find them.

Great location and value. The walls are very thin and you can hear people in the rooms adjacent. If you’re a light sleeper, it might not be a match

Good location, easy access to subway. Extremely cramped for 3 people, and too noisy. Curtains are too thin, so light enters the room comstantly

Great location near JR Shin-okubo station. Staffs are very kind. Room is very big compare to other tiny Tokyo hotels. Tick blanket for dadami floor is comportable enough. Bathroom and shower is small but useful. Stores including 7 Eleven are all within 3 min diatance. Overall great hotel for the price in expensive Tokyo.

4日間お世話になりました。 当日夜にチェックインしたとき、受付にスタッフの方がいなくて困りました。受付カウンターにおいてあった名刺記載の電話番号にかけ直したら上から降りてきてくださいましたが、「受付にスタッフ不在の場合はここに電話をしてください」と明記していただけると大変有り難いです。 設備に関しては、この価格帯でこれだけ揃っていることには驚きました。部屋も広くて良かったです。 ただ、部屋の匂いが独特で僕の鼻には合わなかったので、そこを改善していただけるとありがたいです。

No on duty personnel at the check in counter all the times and you have to take a chance but if someone is there, service is good since one of the shift whom can speak English but others no.

주변에 편의점, 돈키호테, 역이 있어서 이동이 편리했고 한국분이 계셔서 편하게 지냈어요!

The host are very very kind. We loved our stay of 8 days, no issues. Highly recommend this stay for travelers who want to save money on accommodation. 15 minute walk to Shinjuku if you’re out at the bars and miss the train. We loved our stay here and it’s all thanks to the amazing host!

The hotel staff helped us keep our luggage before check in time and after check out time.

When we arrived , nobody was at front desk. Couldn’t check in right away. We could not use our phones, I needed to message my sister to call the hotel to inform we were here. Room was ok.

Overall the property was a good stay. It was very convenient to the train station which made travel pretty easy. The only downside is the general location of the area wasn’t the greatest. There are a lot of shops and places to eat around the area but it does tend to be pretty busy.

It’s very close to the Shin Okuba JR station. A lot of nearby restos and combi. There’s also a 24/7 Don Quijote near this property

Very convenient location, as it’s a short walk from Shin-Okubo station (one stop away from Shinjuku Station), and surrounded by many restaurants and a few grocery stores. Seems to have a concentration of Chinese/Korean restaurants. Hotel rooms themselves are pretty aged/shabby, not a pretty stay but everything works (reliable air-con, which was particularly important for summer). We didn’t spend much time in the hotel anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. TL;DR: slightly shabby hotel, recommended for the traveller that values convenience/value, who spends most of their time out anyway!

大堂服務員10分友善。 酒店附近位置較靜及黑，晚上返回住宿點，好像有點不安全 感覺。

주변에 GIGO, 가라오케 등 즐길 거리와 편의점, 돈키호테, AEON ATM이 있어서 좋았습니다 신주쿠 역과 20분 거리라서 도쿄 전체를 돌아다니기 좋았습니다.

Great location! We made good use of our JR Pass while staying here. The room had everything we needed, was clean and in good condition. The only negative thing I have to say were that immediately outside the hotel door is a favourite smoking spot, so it's the first and last thing you smell each day.

Traditional Japanese style hotel clean but our taxi cannot reach the hotel address itself, driver said address on website different from actual place. Staff is good.
