The room was decent. It did not have a fridge, so I had to throw out my yogurt. But there are several gas stations and restaurants nearby. A cute little town with a good view of Mount Shasta. Parking is tight.

The shower, while adequate, woukd be difficult for some to use because it is small and one has ro step up 5 or 6 inches to get into it. Also, there was no blow deyer, and the Direct TV was a challenge. The staff was hwlpful helping me make it work. And the adjoining cafe was great.

ONE STOP SHOP This facility was my last stop before getting home from a 2200 mile road trip. I am 84 years old and I was pretty tired!! It wasn't perfect, but it provided me a clean quiet place to sleep, an on site restaurant for supper and breakfast and there was a gas station right around the corner!!

Loved the location and that there was the option to park your RV (it looked like full hook-up). It was quiet. I felt safe. And the person at the desk was very nice and welcoming. Regarding the room, it didn’t feel or smell clean. It was a little out dated. We had 2 beds. The bed was O-K, but the pillows were awful. Very small and no support at all. A few of us woke up with sore necks. The one bed had a huge hole in the blanket. Sheets were very thin. The bathroom was old and wasn’t as clean as I expected. The shower walls had scum and looked like dirty water splatter from the previous person who stayed. The fridge didn’t get cold. I felt we paid too much for the room, but it gave a place to sleep while we were there.

A nice, quiet location, there is a stream near our door, grass, picnic tables, rv hookups, the resturant associated with the motel is top notch, staff are very friendly.

Good location. Pretty quiet. Dining nearby. Pay attention when you are booking! Basic level does not offer anything! It's just a room to sleep in ... no fridge, microwave, and even coffee maker! Just for extra 10$ a night the next level of the room offers all these amenities.

Nice old motel with cafe. Wonderful staff in both. Shout out to Robin in the cafe. My only complaint is that there's no in-room coffee maker. You get free coffee in the cafe when you stay there, but they don't open until 7am. I get up at 5, so that was inconvenient. Cafe has terrific food and a full bar. My room was clean and comfortable, but older.

The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway. However, I found the hotel itself to be lacking in upkeep and overall cleanliness. Additionally, I made several room cleaning requests and while the front desk staff was friendly and responsive, the requests were never followed up on. The area around the ice dispenser was filthy, with trash strewn on the floor for at least a week.

We stayed here on Sunday October 19th and rooms were dirty. We stayed again on October 24th in different rooms, but they were just as dirty. Beds are comfortable. Would not stay again due to cleanliness.

We always stay at the Hi Lo when we drive to Oregon twice a year, but this time we were very disappointed. The sheets were dirty from whoever stayed there before. When we switched rooms, the sink in the bathroom was clogged and the light over the bed didn’t work. I called for Drano and the front desk didn’t have any and no plunger to clear the sink. Some of the outlets in the room didn’t have covers so I felt unsafe to plug our phone chargers in. There was a change in ownership and it’s sad to say, that may be why the motel is in the shape it is. I’m sorry to say we won’t be staying here anymore.

It's an old hotel which I was aware of. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a little small and I wasn't able to adjust the shower head. Also the lighting could have been better but overall, it was a nice stay. My room was on the back side so very quiet.

The unit was much smaller than I expected from the pictures, the bathroom in particular was so small that you couldn't shut the door without backing up against the wall. The wall by the shower was rippled from water flowing behind the paint. The heater kicked on next to the bed every half hour to wake us up. In all, not an unreasonable place for $80/night but not what I was expecting. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a back to basics good old reliable motel. Although it felt dated (almost retro) the room was clean, bed very comfortable, good WiFi, and the shower was hot and with good pressure. Staff were polite too.

Stayed here for a night during a trip to Mt Shasta area. It was priced lower than most other places , so was a good choice, as we only needed a place to sleep for the night. The staff was friendly, room was clean, though a little bit outdated. Its next to the freeway, so a good choice for people passing through.

Great place to stay over night. The staff was kind and moved us to another room a little farther off the busy road so it would be a little quieter. Bed was clean and comfy. We slept good and then had a wonderful breakfast in the morning at the cafe. We would stay here again.

I put one star for all due to the unfortunate response at the end of our stay after several issues. The staff was lovely at the time, but in the end did not accommodate us for the problems that I politely addressed. We will not stay again when we return to the area and we will not recommend to others.

A bit outdated but clean, good linens and bed/pillows. We had a king and the room was small but adequate. I will definitely be staying here again when visiting Shasta. The check in guy was friendly, swift and knowledgeable. The restaurant was good food and value for money.
