We really loved staying here, and ended up here twice within two weeks. It's a great place for families - lovely little pool, good playground, jumping pillow, close to everything in Broken Hill, and good cabins. The people at reception were very friendly and offered some great suggestions for dining. They do NOT offer a continental breakfast, as it says here on wotif.

Enjoyed the spacious villa at Broken Hill Tourist Park. Great facilities, including BBQ and pool just across from villa. Cooking facilities provided inside. All the tourist attractions within easy driving including Silverton, Menindee Lakes and town, art galleries, line of lode, and museums. Town walking tour a must.

The check in was great, with helpful staff and assistance to make our stay welcoming. The cabin is well set out, well presented and included the amenities and kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge and stove. Small and compact with access to the parks other amenities and attractions for the playground and pool all within easy walking from our cabin.

Two bedroom onsite cabin was clean and roomy, air conditioned and beds were extremely comfortable. Good facilitues such as pool and bbq area, jumping pillow and chess for kids. We would have liked the pool open a bit later though due to hot days. Very good value for money! Thank you.

The room was not what Hotels.com showed, it was a very, very, VERY small cabin, like a prison cell. On top of that, it was dirty. Not vacuum cleaned, as there were chip crumbs and candy wrappers on the very dirty carpet area, crawling with ants. The bed sheets were stained and the chairs were greasy. The pictures were deceiving as they depicted a cleaner room with shelves and cupboards that were not the room we booked for the $110 per night, it was a rip off. We got in late, reception couldn't help us, so we needed to stay as we couldn't look for an alternative at 9pm at night. So we cleaned it up as best we could and slept in our sleeping bags on top of the bed, away from the bed bugs. A very disappointing experience. Money wasted.

Cabin was just an old miners accom, dated and unloved. Carpets were stained, kitchen lino torn, ancient oven rusty and dirty. Had to wipe appliances and cutlery before use. No bathroom basin plug. Parking spot only big enough for a small car. Main Rd right behind the cabin. Comp. cheese and bikkies in common area in the a'noon was nice. Office staff friendly. Nightly rate should be under $100, not $140.

Where given an upgrade but new room was in poor condition and very unclean. Mold in bathroom typical places. Shower leaks through wall to kitchen. Generally not very well cleaned at all, dust buildup and other rubbish under bed, filthy beside oven, lights full of dead bugs, fan in kitchen not working and switch damaged. Kitchen chairs filthy stained other furniture throughout damaged and lots of waterlogged areas including the vanity. Taps are all defective. Toilet cistern missing parts around flush. Mouse ran across the floor under the oven first night. Just needed to rest with a shower and AC after a few days in the swag and long drive so could not be bothered asking for another room also thinking this is probably as good as it gets..

Was very disappointed with the cabin, it was not as clean as it should be, the stove was disgraceful. The window sills had built up dirt in the corners and along the edges. The bed itself was awful, very noisey and very uncomfortable.

The cleaning needs to be stepped up. Just lazyness from the cleaners. Stained doona covers, toilet not clean it smelled like urine as it was stained on the back of the toilet door, kitchen bin not emptied, tables filthy not wiped down and no toilet paper I had to request. This place has potential but i guess they just dont care.

I was put in a cabin right next to the highway, where huge trucks (and other traffic) run day and night, many frequently making a very loud noise. So I had very disturbed nights. It is a 50km zone along there, but a lot of cars and trucks were speeding. As a noise bonus there is a courier company directly across the road that unloads trucks with a fork lift running back and forth before 7am. The cabin was very basic, like something you would see in a remote mining camp. If you had to stay there, then get a cabin at the back of the area, not next to the highway.

Good for a cheap overnighter. Right next to main road, occasional truck noise. Toilet leaked, so refilled every 10 minutes with clunky pipes. Lucky we were tired and some wine helped us sleep through it. Remember its a mining town. Be prepared take booze.

Very disappointed with the size of the cabin and huge lack of kitchen utensils. Was only a small frypan that would not sit flat on the stovetop, a couple of small saucepans and a strainer. Had to go and buy a roasting pan and salad bowl. The electric stove was very old and took forever to warm up. Cutlery was only enough for 2 people and cooking aids (wooden spoons etc) pathetic.

When I first checked in there was an issue with the toilet in my room. The wonderful reception staff moved me to another room (Upgrade) gratis so that the issue could be resolved. Could not ask for better service than that. Not far from eating & shopping destinations so the choices were great. Quiet area even though it is on a major thoroughfare. Can't fault it.

What did I like? The free bus to the Musicians Club on Friday night. What didnt I like? Paying a good price for a sub standard cabin. For $20 more I could have had a 4-5 star motel room nearby. The customer service from some staff was appalling and phone manner afterwards the same, We left our phone charger and cord in the cabin. We rang as soon as we realised and the woman on the phone treated us as though it was too much trouble to check the room instead putting the phone down and coming back shortly after saying there was nothing in lost property. We came here once before in 2016 and were disappointed then. We had hoped they lifted their game or new owners but it seems nothing has changed. Dont waste your time here. Go to a motel/hotel

The caravan park was very quiet which was surprising as it is on the main highway. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our cabin was comfortable but could have been a bit cleaner.
