The property is very old and dated. Only a single employee working and I had to wait to check in while they went to pick up their child from school. Dead critters in the bathtub. No amenities in the room other than a microwave.

This is a basic hotel with basic everything. Very thin cheap towels, wash clothes, quarter size thin bar of soap. Bed mattress is sub par. If you’re looking for a hotel with continental breakfast or curtesy coffee pot then this is not your hotel. $50 - $60 a night at best

Ease in parking _ convenient location _ quiet _ cleanliness _ updating would be a plus ___ enjoyed staying in room and do recommend

This property is just what you're looking for if you're looking for a clean, bug, drama, issue free place to spend the nite. Nothing fancy...at ALL! It's a typical old roadside motel. But, while very aged, my room was clean (tho the towels were rough,) the bed was comfortable, and the tv & heat worked. It would be nice if there was a coffee pot, but there was a microwave & I THINK a fridge. I didnt use either, tho. Front desk & staff were kind. It's a $50 room for $70, but that's ok since the upcharge keeps the riffraff out, and so gives us a safe, clean, reasonable place to sleep. There's a store & Diner (The Dugout,) adjacent to the property, and both were a blessing!

Beds were comfortable & clean. All plumbing worked well. TV & all lights worked. The key was difficult to use, dead bolt looked like it worked but it did not go into door jam n I could open the door while deadbolt was “locked”. No ice but when. I asked for some for my drink they gave me some. It seems to be the thing these days that these 2 bed rooms only are stocked with 2 sets of towels and even when you check in with 3 people they don’t give you extra set. Getting extra face clothes is more of a challenge! Only 2 motels to choose from & this could be a nice cozy, quaint spot but it needs some fairly cheap basic work (besides new flooring, tubs & sinks. Housekeeping doesn’t seem to know how to keep rooms up or isn’t given the time to do so. Occasionally extra time is required to wash walls, fixtures,baseboards, deep clean floors. This can put off need to repaint. This place was good enough to sleep a night for this old housekeeper and RN but some folks wouldn’t agree with me for sure. Reminded me of a college sons apartment. We were tired n ready to rest n sleep. No Bugs!

There was no hot water in my room.

The guy that checked me in was really friendly and nice,the room was clean but they had some bugs in the bathroom and I was very uneasy about sleeping that night, I don’t think I’ll be visiting them again.

The room smelled horrible and the carpet was old and likely contributed to the stale smoke and mold aroma. The cable box would overheat so watching tv was only allowed for about an hour until it cooled off again. The bed was old, hard, and the sheets were stained. If you’re desperate, it’ll do. If not, keep looking.

They allowed us to check in early. No problem in cheking in. Room was clean and quiet. No issues.

The shower didn’t work, the bathroom toilet seat was spilt on one side so when I sat on it it would pinch my butt, there were dead crickets along the wall, I asked for extra towels because their towels are thin and they gave me towels with holes in them, the refrigerator’s freezer was opens and frozen over so I have to fix it and there was water in the fridge from the freeze being over frozen and causing the door to remain open, there were plenty rooms available because they weren’t busy but they placed someone above me and the floors where very creaky. I woke up because of the sound of walking above me at least 3 times in the night. I wouldn’t sleep there again if they offered the room for free.

It is not a five star hotel, but is a good little spot to rest. Inexpensive quiet place to stay. Seems safe enough. For $70 a night you can't beat it.
