Die Nähe zum Bahnhof und gleichzeitig so Stadtbahnhof ist unschlagbar. Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse und 1a Service, was will man mehr? Die Zimmer sind sehr funktionell aber stylisch auf TOP-Niveau, optimale Raumnutzung. Das Hotel ist für einen Städtetrip absolut empfehlenswert.

This property is convenient and walking distance to Christmas markets, local shopping, the castle and many cathedrals. The room was pleasant but there was no internet access. The windows open to the square, making it nice to sit, sip and watch the activity in the square. Keep in mind, there is no refrigerator in the room.

Great hotel across the the train station and right in the pedestrian zone. It was quiet and so cinvenient. Our room was not very large but worked just fine. Renovated and clean. The only thing missing was a frig. Great stay!

We booked two of the same rooms for our family of 4 (2 teens & parents) thru Expedia but we were given two different sized rooms at check in. The smaller one was too small for 2 people and as a result my husband indicated he would not stay there again if given that room. The larger room was comfortable for 2. Both were clean and well maintained. Also experienced some issues at check in with their “online” checkin process. After completing everything in their online system two times (due to 2 rooms) they couldn’t get it to update and finally ended up having to write it all down manually. Their electronic checkin process needs improvement! Additionally, parking is not very convenient due to being a garage that is a bit of a hike with suitcases. Otherwise location was nice and in a great area of town. Lots of restaurants & shopping nearby.

This was a 4 min walk from the christkindl market and right downtown. Make sure to ask about parking before you go there as they have a reduced rate in a nearby parking garage. Room was clean, comfortable and private. Entry to hotel is secured by Rfid cards. We felt safe. Very pleasant employees and the boutique hotel is just really neat. The breakfast for a fee is worth it ! Enjoy your stay

Quanto ao estacionamento, não é próprio do hotel, mas próximo, eles oferecem um ticket com um desconto de 3 euros em relação ao valor de 24h do estacionamento (20 euros), ficando com um preço igual ao de outras cidades. Nunca tinha usado esse tipo de estacionamento, mas foi bem prático, recomendo ir sem medo.

Hotel muito bem localizado na parte velha de Nuremberg. Visitamos tudo o que planejamos no centro histórico à pé e para o que era mais distante (como a visita ao tribunal da cidade) havia uma estação de metrô bastante próxima . O quarto é pequeno (o que já sabíamos pelo anúncio), mas bastante aconchegante e limpo. O banheiro, também, era bastante bom. O staff nos pareceu um tanto confuso em alguns momentos, porém, foi simpático. Não tivemos problemas. O café da manhã não oferece muitas opções, mas o que havia lá era de boa qualidade. Em resumo, para duas ou três noites, pensamos que seja uma ótima opção, especialmente por conta da localização, da limpeza e das acomodações que são novas e bem cuidadas. Para estadias mais longas, porém, talvez, você deva considerar um hotel com mais estrutura e quartos maiores.

Das ist ein besonders schönes Hotel. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Eine bessere Lage konnte ich mir nicht wünschen. Sehr zentral gelegen, Hauptbahnhof liegt nur einige Minuten zu Fuß. Der Weihnachtsmarkt ist sehr leicht und schnell zu erreichen. Trotz der super zentralen Lage habe ich nichts von der Außenwelt mitbekommen. Sehr ruhig, sehr sauber, sehr schön.

Nice stay of 3 nights with an initial glitch -upon arrival my room was only half -cleaned, with fresh (i hope) sheets on one mattress, no sheets on the other, and a used plastic cup in the bathroom. The garbage had been emptied and towels replaced so i guess the housekeeper had run out before finishing? Minimal amenities--shower gel but no shampoo, no English on TV. Safe and convenient location, kind staff, and very quiet room made for a restful sleep.

Room was clean and overlooked one of the main streets so we like the liveliness but may not be for others who are looking for a quieter place. We enjoyed our stay of 1 night. We did not try breakfast. We were able to leave our bags with the front desk after check out. Their front desk is not open 24 hours so those arriving or late will have to use a lockbox.

The location is good, a bit noisy at night from the people in the Main Street. We had a corner room and the wifi doesn’t work well. We had to stand in the door way. The pillows were too flat and the heater doesn’t work. The room was too cold in the winter. There’s no coffee maker or tea pot to make a hot cup of tea in a cold room.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach genial…zentral gelegen, Blick auf die Altstadt, durch gute Fenster aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Frühstücksbüffet ist überschaubar aber ausreichend. Ablageflächen im Zimmer sind begrenzt, für einen kurzen Aufenthalt aber i.O. Wir werden dort jederzeit gerne wieder einchecken 👍

Eine schöne Unterkunft und sehr nettes Personal. Leider war meine Nacht gegen 5 Uhr morgens vorbei, da mein Zimmer (206) zur Fußgängerzone rausging und dort früh morgens Straßenreinigung, Müllabfuhr und LKWs (Lieferverkehr zu den Restaurants und Geschäften) viel lauter Verkehr war.

Excellent location for Christmas Market in Nuremberg. 7 minute walk from train station and also 7 min walk to the center of Xmas market. Room size is not big, but sufficient. Breakfast is ok. My only concern is internet connection can be intermittent.

A lost wallet was found by hotel staff and I was notified in time to retrieve it before I had to depart. Cash and cards were all accounted for; kudos to the staff for their integrity! The rooms a bit basic but were a good value for the affordable rates. The location is a good compromise between the train station and the old city attractions, we enjoyed the beautiful city.

Schade, dass dieser Platz dafür nicht genutzt wurde und man sehen muss, wo man seine Sachen stattdessen notdürftig unterbringt. Ein Late-Checkout war leider nicht möglich, da das Zimmer schon wieder vergeben war. Check in was a bit frustrating cause we were asked to scan the QR code to fill out our personal information online but the process wasn't smooth. We had to try several times and finally did it with a traditional way - paper form. The lady at breakfast was SUPER NICE!! She welcomed us with greetings and English. Always make sure if we have everything we need. Always smiling when she is working! A big thumb to her!!

The hotel has a serious staffing problem - reception closed at 1pm the day of our arrival and 2pm when we departed. This was a problem; we needed a place to leave our luggage until our train at 6pm and quite reasonably expected to do so at our hotel, but we were denied. Otherwise, Gideon is a first-rate hotel, which makes the service failure really glaring and troublesome.

Room was clean and overlooked one of the main streets so we like the liveliness but may not be for others who are looking for a quieter place. We enjoyed our stay of 1 night. We did not try breakfast. We were able to leave our bags with the front desk after check out. Their front desk is not open 24 hours so those arriving or late will have to use a lockbox.

Obwohl wir während der ohnehin eingeschränkten Rezeptionszeiten ankamen, war die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Wir haben 45 Minuten gewartet. Unter der Notfallnummer meldet sich nur eine Securoty Firma, die nicht weiterhelfen kann und selbst auch keinen Kontakt im Hotel hat. Es gab keine Möglichkeit jemanden zu erreichen. Als letztendlich jemand kam, war sie unfreundlich und meinte, sie wäre „nur“ 20 Minuten weg gewesen. Es gab keinerlei Entschädigung und auch keine Gepäckaufbewahrung (nur auf dem Flur). Das Zimmer, das sie uns gab hatte ein Bett zu wenig. Wir sind dann erst einmal in die Stadt gegangen. Später bekamen wir einen Anruf, dass wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen hätten. Zum Glück hat die Dame den Code für den Safe genannt, denn die angeblich geschickte Nachricht mit dem Zugangscode ist nicht bei mir angekommen. Das zweite Zimmer hatte ein Bestellbett und war sauber. Ob die Betten bequem sind, kann ich noch nicht sagen.

Brilliant location - walkable to main Xmas markets, train station, the Castle and lots of shopping/food, staff were lovely, room was a good size and overlooked one of the lovely streets with Christmas decos. Really happy with this hotel and would stay here again for sure.

Hotel muito bem localizado na parte velha de Nuremberg. Visitamos tudo o que planejamos no centro histórico à pé e para o que era mais distante (como a visita ao tribunal da cidade) havia uma estação de metrô bastante próxima . O quarto é pequeno (o que já sabíamos pelo anúncio), mas bastante aconchegante e limpo. O banheiro, também, era bastante bom. O staff nos pareceu um tanto confuso em alguns momentos, porém, foi simpático. Não tivemos problemas. O café da manhã não oferece muitas opções, mas o que havia lá era de boa qualidade. Em resumo, para duas ou três noites, pensamos que seja uma ótima opção, especialmente por conta da localização, da limpeza e das acomodações que são novas e bem cuidadas. Das ist ein besonders schönes Hotel. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Eine bessere Lage konnte ich mir nicht wünschen. Sehr zentral gelegen, Hauptbahnhof liegt nur einige Minuten zu Fuß. Der Weihnachtsmarkt ist sehr leicht und schnell zu erreichen. Trotz der super zentralen Lage habe ich nichts von der Außenwelt mitbekommen. Sehr ruhig, sehr sauber, sehr schön.

Excellent location for Christmas Market in Nuremberg. 7 minute walk from train station and also 7 min walk to the center of Xmas market. Room size is not big, but sufficient. Breakfast is ok. My only concern is internet connection can be intermittent.

Nice hotel in the old part of the city within easy walking distance from the train station. Hotel staff were good, especially the German lady at breakfast most days. Beds were a little hard for me. This was a 4 min walk from the christkindl market and right downtown. Make sure to ask about parking before you go there as they have a reduced rate in a nearby parking garage. Room was clean, comfortable and private. Entry to hotel is secured by Rfid cards. We felt safe. Very pleasant employees and the boutique hotel is just really neat. The breakfast for a fee is worth it ! Enjoy your stay
