Crescent Beach Motel

I'm not sure where the cover picture was taken but it certainly wasn't our room. There was about a 1/4-1/2" gap under the outer door, the walls were very thin (we could hear the family next door until they graciously quieted down about 10:15 p.m. after I tapped on their door and told them we were headed to bed). Some of the wallpaper was ripped and the furniture was a bit of a hodge-podge. This property IS on the beach but for the rate they charge, there are MANY more properties in Crescent City that are newer and more affordable. This is an older motel with a bit of a run-down vibe. I don't usually write such negative reviews but our room was a very sad place.

Had a wonderful time at this motel. The staff was great. Anything you asked about they responded immediately and the front rooms were clean. Well put together the beach they access to the beach was wonderful too. It was the stairways was clean. It was shipped up. It was a wonderful time at this place. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend.

The location is in the right area. Your backyard is the Pacific Ocean! The staff was great and helpful!!

It was pretty old and a little dirty and used up. Yet, for being what it is; just an old beach motel, it seemed fine for one night. The front desk lady was super friendly and nice. It was on the beach too.

Older motel but kept maintained and very clean. Fantastic location with beach access from the back patio. Friendly staff, helpful with recommendations for restaurants and anything else you can think of. Free snacks in the lobby made my husband and toddler quite happy. Would definitely recommend for a beach getaway with your family. Bring earplugs or sound machine if you are sensitive to noise as people walking or talking on the back patio at night is obvious in the room. We sleep with a sound machine and it did not bother us at all.
