Our vehicle was too tall for parking garage and the street parking was not available. Women at desk didn't care. Manager wouldn't answer 3 days of Expedia trying to reach the hotel. I am stuck with an over priced hotel bill.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They readily moved us to a better room with no up charge. The property is an older building but they have worked to update the rooms. The elevators are slow and one of the three was not operating. The rooms do have Kerig coffee machines and small refrigerators. It is convenient to I-20.

There is 2 bars on the promises. Food choices are fair. Walking distances to some nice shops and lets not forget my favorite Starbucks is right on the 1st floor

Very clean and comfy room! We enjoyed our stay immensely! Everyone there was just lovely! Will come again! Love the Starbucks on the first floor. They do need an ATM IN LOBBY!!!

The hotel is an impressive building, but the entrance is cramped. Reception was functional. The room was relatively small, but very nice and comfortable, with big windows, which made the room light. The bathroom was exceptional. It was quiet, but that’s the luck of the draw with your neighbours either side. The 11th floor bar was good, although wear a coat, as the aircon is too cool. Avoid the pizza, as it was dire. A major concern is the lack of security on the ground floor. The main access goes past the lifts, before you come to any reception area. The lifts have no security access, so anyone can walk from the street, and have anonymous access to all floors. Not good. I wouldn’t let my wife or daughter stat there. Having said all that, I had a good , if overpriced stay. My main requirement from a hotel, is a good sleep, in a clean room, and this place did it.

Easy access from the interstate. The staff are amazing. Every hotel staff that I encountered greeted me (front desk, housekeeping, gentleman in the elevator). Front desk agent on 10/8 PM was amazing. Super nice, hospitable staff, welcoming, smiles. Love the convenient parking deck just across the street. So easy to park and walk to the hotel. The streets were well lit. Parking deck was secured and free. Loves the brewery with food I block away ( 2 minutes or less walk). Room was nice, comfy, well decorated. Bath had nice amenities. Shower could have been a little cleaner, but overall a very nice room experience!! Nice gym. Charming rooftop bar with views of the city. Really charming rooftop bar!! I would stay again.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times mainly because I think it is the only hotel that has a bar and food. Parking is on the street or in an unsecured parking garage. I didn’t feel comfortable parking in either option. Valet parks in the same unsecure garage.

The room was actually lovely and clean but the rest of the hotel was poorly staffed poorly managed. There was a musty smell throughout. There was a leak in the dining room flies everywhere the air conditioner was out in the main areas and most of the staff, except a young lady named Lane, in the dining room, was rude. The potential is definitely there, but I never saw a manager during my entire stay, the valet disappeared on Sunday, so I had to park my car in the street and that did not feel safe. and believe me these employees needed some management..

It was a nice stay. House keeping in the room could be better. There was hair on the bath towels and visible dirty and crumbs on the counters around the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. I got the junior suite. Came with 2 TVs. Nice breakfast with room service. Will come back again

The rooms were immaculate. The view was incredible and to top it off the staff, chefs kiss. Even though i was only there for a couple of hrs it was definitely worth the stay. Will always be my choice of stay in meridian, ms.

very nice property in Meridian, Ms - we stay here every time we go through Ms. Staff very friendly, great location with shops and restaurants. Great bar with porch overlooking the city. Nice restaurant for breakfast, and a Starbucks right next door. Rooms are clean, modern, and spacious.

The place is great. Our room was smaller than expected, especially for the price, so i don't know of there are larger rooms or they are mostly the same, but it was still good. It was also very clean, with a large bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower only has a half wall with no door. It leaked severely onto the floor. The bathroom door was on a track, barn door style. There was no door stop at the end of the track. Our door became untracked. It was hard to get it back on the track. It was a heavy door. It was midnight we did not wish to change rooms. Also, when we arrived of the four or so luggage carts that they said that they had. None were to be found. There was also no bellman to assist. It was a 15-story building. Suggest buying more carts or working harder to make sure they are available. Getting in late that was an inconvenience. We did not like that they did not have enclosed drawers in the bedroom. Everything was open style. However, the room was modern in the bed was very comfortable. The facility was quite clean.

My family and I have now stayed at this property on 4 visits and it is great! First of all, while the historic building is in great shape and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated, THE STAFF of this hotel is what makes it so great. From the time you arrive until you check out, the valet, reception area, check in, housekeeping, and dining areas are staffed with a great, friendly and helpful team. It is always a great experience.

GREAT staff and service from checkin to checkout in all areas of the property. Historical building but quiet and updated with typical comforts you expect from a Marriott property. Wish the area offered more dining opportunities but dining within this property is good.

The valet service was underwhelming. It was raining lightly when we arrived and we had to go inside before anyone came to our service plus an employee was standing in the small vestibule smoking when we drove up so we waited until the "air was clear" before we exited our vehicle. The morning valet moved slower than a snails pace so we sat outside in the sun until he eventually got our car (we were the only ones waiting- there was not a line) Bar staff @ The Boxcar was friendly and prompt! Room was clean and comfortable.

Everything from the decor to the staff was top notch. The valet, the waitress, the front desk staff all went out of their way to take care of our requests. Will return for sure. Our stay was an experience, not just another night at a hotel on our trip. Great job everyone! We also enjoyed the rooftop bar and the nearby brewery with excellent food. All within walking distance.

I love the area the hotel is located in . It's such a cute little town. The only things I didn't like was the mean ladies at the front desk. 1 shook her head violently when I asked about a room with a balcony, the other asked if MY FRIEND (SAME AGE 33*) was my daughter & didn't apologize , we didn't receive our vouchers for the breakfast that was included so we had to pay. Took about 15 mins for someone to take our breakfast order & even longer to get it. Once again at check out the lady at the front counter was rude!! The valet , girl working the rooftop restaurant & security were all soo lovely to talk too!!! The sink in ROOM 513 smells like MOLD!! It made my stomach TURN!!! The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable.

We were in town for a Concert at the Riley Center and this hotel is across the street! Great local restaurants, breakfast at the 601 at the hotel was amazing and the accommodations were perfect. We even splurged for the valet service and they were awesome! One of the best hotel visits I’ve ever had.

Easy access from the interstate. The staff are amazing. Every hotel staff that I encountered greeted me (front desk, housekeeping, gentleman in the elevator). Front desk agent on 10/8 PM was amazing. Super nice, hospitable staff, welcoming, smiles. Love the convenient parking deck just across the street. So easy to park and walk to the hotel. The streets were well lit. Parking deck was secured and free. Loves the brewery with food I block away ( 2 minutes or less walk). Room was nice, comfy, well decorated. Bath had nice amenities. Shower could have been a little cleaner, but overall a very nice room experience!! Nice gym. Charming rooftop bar with views of the city. Really charming rooftop bar!! I would stay again.

The hotel is an impressive building, but the entrance is cramped. Reception was functional. The room was relatively small, but very nice and comfortable, with big windows, which made the room light. The bathroom was exceptional. It was quiet, but that’s the luck of the draw with your neighbours either side. The 11th floor bar was good, although wear a coat, as the aircon is too cool. Avoid the pizza, as it was dire. A major concern is the lack of security on the ground floor. The main access goes past the lifts, before you come to any reception area. The lifts have no security access, so anyone can walk from the street, and have anonymous access to all floors. Not good. I wouldn’t let my wife or daughter stat there. Having said all that, I had a good , if overpriced stay. My main requirement from a hotel, is a good sleep, in a clean room, and this place did it.
