Pros: Booked a room with 1 double and 1 single bed and given an upgrade to a room with 2 of each beds so 4 in total. Bathroom looks to have been renovated which was nice. Pool was great and staff friendly. Cons: Restaurant and Bar was closed, 2 single beds were very firm and pillows need to be updated. Long walk to the pool and other guests were noisy past 11pm. Overall enjoyable stay, would stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A little out of town, about 2 kms but nice and quiet. Our room was huge. We had a couple of lounge chairs, small kitchenette with table and chairs and a desk area. Really appreciated the microwave and toaster and also the crockery and cutlery. The bed was very comfortable, hot water and good wifi. Parking is right outside the unit. We were given a warm welcome and fresh milk. We only stayed 2 nights but longer stays would be okay too. There is a laundry for those who might stay longer. The on site restaurant is only open for functions so, unless you are cooking for yourself, it is a short drive to the restaurants and bars. For those making their own there is a Woolworths in town. We would definitely stay again.

Just out of town. Unit 1 has access from back to pool. Very long grass and gravel on concrete paths and around pool are annoying to walk on. The property was clean and well maintained otherwise. Reception was friendly.

I booked 2 nights at this property but left after one , the room was filled with bugs, and creepy crawlers that were right over the bed heads and falling on my pillow. I understand it was cheap but still I couldn’t sleep there a second night

The room was advertised as having a kitchenette, which it had, but it lacked the thing you would expect in a kitchen, specifically bread and butter plates, teaspoons, potato peeler, sharp knife, one wine glass and a good set of instructions on how to operate the electric stove. When I spoke to the manager about these problems he came to the room and gave instructions on how to use the stove and provided the missing plates. At all times the manager was very courteous and helpful. Although the motel is situated on the highway there was no road noise at night allowing for a very good night's sleep.

We were given an upgrade which we didn’t need as it would have been easier to heat a smaller room on such a cold night. The split system heater was inadequate for the large room and we needed to have it on 30 to warm us even with 1 bedroom closed off. We kept it on all night. We put blankets on the floor near the door and curtains to keep the cold air out. They have made some effort to upgrade the rooms but everything is pretty basic.

Deluxe room furthest from road so very quiet. Unit very clean. Very bright TV power on indicator shines directly in sleeper's eyes. Had to cover with a towel as not easy to reach power outlet. Wind caused fir tree branch to scrape loudly on roof of adjacent barbecue area. Fixed by pulling branch under the roof. All in all a pleasant stay

I did not realise that this property was pet friendly and unfortunately I have bad pet allergies. My fault I didn't read properly and this is my first time I have ever noticed people travelling with pets. Room was clean and large. Does need an update in the bathroom. Room 19 needs bathroom roof cleaned, or painted. Second day no room servicing either.

Good and affordable choice for a short overnight stay, especially when doing long drives - e.g. from Sydney to Wagga or from Melbourne to Sydney. Good motel, decent facilities, and very close to the town center. Tumut itself is a lovely mountain town and is worth a visit.
