Hotel is really clean and new and great service, on 38th floor, I just think they need to have a parking available for guest… I find it difficult to accept building so high doesn’t have parking space.

Overall great stay, the gym is one of the best I’ve seen. I was on the 39th floor which had great views however the music from the bar on the 40th floor could be heard till 11pm and the staff were not able to get it turned down as the restaurant is under different management.

Room was a bit small but ok, staff were great and helpful, small convenience store at the Hotel and a rooftop bar in the hotel. Parking is across the road $25 a day max out in the open. 15 min walk to crown casino and Southbank 20 min walk

Great hotel, close to DFO and southbank. Amazing room. Comfortable beds with all the necessary items in the room. Only downside was how slow the lifts are, some times waiting at least 10-15mins for a lift and not pool/spa.

Beautiful rooms and good location to catch our cruise at Station Pier a 10 minute taxi ride away. Unfortunately we got super stressed on the morning of the cruise when we waited 30 minutes for the elevator to take us down from the 11th floor.... two of the four elevators were out of service causing the remaining two to be full to capacity with people going down from the upper 32 floors! We narrowly got to the cruise terminal in time despite allowing an hour to get there!

Surprised how good the hotel was. Our room was very well equipped and spacious. It feels a bit out of the way unless you are up for a walk. Spend a dollar and have a drink at the rooftop bar, the view is spectacular

This was a wondeful and comfortable 1 night stay; including baggage check before and after. Comfortable and clean rooms; great buffet breakfast; excellent service for any query; fully equipped gym, bar, and even a games room and additional quiet space for work/concentration. Only room for improvement would be usb ports for charging which is what i expect from new hotels. Lovely stay and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

The building has sofisticated internal areas and the apartments are modern and well fitted out with great views of the city I stayed in apartment 1501 which has a bathroom suitable for wheelchair users. I think the only area of the apartment that was freshly cleaned was the bed, there was dry toothpaste from the previous guest in the basin,the box were the shoe shine and other amenities were supposed to be was stained with toothpaste, the taps in the shower and everywhere in the bathroom needed a good scrub as well, the carpet between bathroom and the kitchen was soaking wet, the carpet in general needed a good vacuum, the fridge needed a wipe inside and out and had a hair in the freezer draw and dry chewing gum in the door seal. The lack of cleaning really puts me of ever staying in this property again although the views of the city were fantastic.

I am a regular customer and during my recent trip, it was disappointing that the bed sheets were not changed from previous customers and a towel already used was left behind the bathroom door. I believe the room was not cleaned properly. I called reception and they came to change the bed sheets immediately.

nobody wants to waste there time complaining BUT the room was dirty till id dropped my airpods under the bed and would upgrade that to filthy. Staff only wanted to make up the room when you got back to the room when you had been out all day and had do not disturb turned on. could be good stay if you enjoy living in a teenagers room under a teenagers supervision

The room was amazing, and the view was beautiful. My husband and I agreed that the pillows were not very comfortable, and he had trouble sleeping on the bed. We were excited for the kids to play in the playroom, but unfortunately, a group of people were playing cards and drinking, which took over the space. It was disappointing, as this was meant to be a family room, not a karaoke or drinking area. Staff were unable to resolve the situation, and even after leaving and returning an hour later, nothing had changed.

My stay at Oakwood exceeded expectations. The hotel’s location near the Melbourne Convention Centre was ideal, and the team were consistently friendly and helpful. The condition of both the hotel and my room was very modern, clean, and very comfortable. It was also a bonus to have a superette conveniently located within the hotel. At times the Wi-Fi connection was patchy and I wasn’t made aware of their pickup airport transfer service at the time of booking (which would have been handy).

Upgraded to an executive room, luckily I saw this meant we were entitled to happy hour in the foyer by actually reading the messages on the tv. The room wasn't huge but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Great views all the way to the bay. Very clean and modern. Only problem none of the technology worked - streaming to TV, dine-in tablet and even the tablet to put up the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. Games room nice extra to a regular hotel and would have been great to stay longer and make use of all the facilities.

It was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed. View was stunning - panoramic view overlooking the city on the Southbank. The hotel is one of the tallest buildings in the area and I stayed on 24th floor. Room has everything inside - fridge, stove, dish washer, utensils, washing machine, coffee maker, safe….. Room is spacious and quiet. Staff is nice. 5 min walk to parking and Mall/shopping and restaurants. I will definitely stay there again if I go to Melbourne.

Awesome hotel! It was located just behind the Convention and Exhibition Centre and close to the DFO (shoppers' paradise). An easy 10 minute walk from a tram stop within the CBD free tram zone across the Yarra river. Also 15 minute walk to the South Melbourne Market (a must go!). I barely paid for any transport during my whole stay! The rooms are large and clean, the view (facing the Convention Centre) was superb. You can see sunrise right from the room. Amenities are great as well - particularly with the Nespresso machine. Housekeeping was alright. Asked for new body wash replacement which never came though. But overall it was a great stay and I would certainly choose this hotel again if I am visiting Melbourne.

The restaurant was not open which was a shame. We booked the premium room and the club lounge was closed. We were offered a $50 in room credit which was okay should have been $50 per day. We were told about it only when we inquired about the club lounge. It should have been offered to us when we checked in. There was no bottled water in our room ( premium) $425 per night which should have entitled us to some bottles of water. The convenience shop was shut for stock take when we went down to get some water. Not really great!

Although the hotel is located in a commercial area, we liked the proximity to DFO and the Crown Entertainment complex as well as several dining options within a 15-minute walk. Not crazy about the prices of Food & Beverages at the rooftop bar (which is quite lovely) as it meant we had to go outside of the hotel for dining.
