We had a wonderful stay. Parking was easy and convenient. The hotel was quiet, perfectly placed in the Old Town, safe and very clean. Our room was perfect. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend getting breakfast. The service also excellent. Check in and check out very easy. Will always stay here when returning to Salzburg.

There was a parking structure right across the street from Hotel Blauer Bock, next to "Eatley". The parking was my main concern so for this it was 10/10 for being close to everything AND easy to park. Staff very accommodating for our couple of requests (extra pillows...needed extra pillows).

Det eneste jeg var yderst utilfreds med, var service personalet, i resturanten. En af aften tjenerne var meget uvenlig. Der står på hjemme siden at baren lukker kl 24…men der blev lukket en time før. Morgen personalet var ret stresset pga underbemanding. Ikke deres skyld! Selve hotellet er pænt og hyggeligt, men jeg kommer ikke igen.

The location is fantastic, however the listing does not mention several key factors. There is no air-conditioning so we had to keep our windows open all night. In the morning it gets very noisy early (6:30-7am) with delivery trucks, street sweepers and traffic. The bar/restaurant is closed on Monday. And there really is no bar/restaurant at all, it’s just food served outside, but no place to really hang out. Overall the cost of the hotel combined with lack of amenities was disappointing.

Leider konnten wir nach unserem Theaterbesuch nichts mehr in der Bar bekommen. Wenn mit Bar geworben wird, sollte diese an einem Samstagabend um 23 Uhr noch geöffnet sein und nicht als Ausrede eine Auflage der Stadt München vorschieben, wenn alle anderen Bars in der direkten Nachbarschaft noch geöffnet haben.

Unseasonably hot in Munich and hotel does not have air conditioning. I missed that when I booked the room. Would be great for a fall through spring visit. Extremely convenient to Biergarten and downtown sites as well as Marienplatz train Staton. Overall I was okay with the stay. Did have a visit from a spider by my bed but could have come in from the open window.

Two of the things I liked about the hotel: affordability + location. This hotel is walking distance to old town and there were a lot of food options nearby as well. Heating/cooling isn't controlled in each rooms, but a fan was provided when I was here in the summer. If you need a place only to sleep, shower, and maybe eat some breakfast before you explore town, I would recommend this place. Personally, I would stay at this hotel again!

Breakfast had wonderful selections. Everything we wanted to see or do was nearby. The pillows were just awful. They totally disappeared when you laid your head down. Heated towel rack did not work. They told us maintenance would come by and fix it, but that never happened. Room was so small, that my husband and I had a tough time getting around each other

Really good value hotel in a very convenient location, close to transport links, but in a peaceful location, with a great pizza restaurant next door, and very close to the main square and food market. We stayed in the budget single rooms - tiny, but really well-designed and perfect for our needs. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. A great choice.

Grundsätzlich schönes Hotel, Service, Sauberkeit und Frühstück gut. Größtes Problem ist, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt und die Isolation nicht die Neueste ist. Es resultiert in sehr hohe Temperaturen in den Zimmern, so dass man das Fenster in der Nacht aufmachen muss um überhaupt Schlaf zu finden. Allerdings kann es aufgrund der Lage es etwas laut sein. Somit im Sommer absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Speziell nicht für diese Preiskategorie.

The location is walkable to most of the old city center in a safe neighborhood. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags until our room was ready. Desk staff gave great advice on restaurants and modes of transport to the airport. The room was spacious and clean. The only problem is the one step drop in our hallway that blends in due to the carpet pattern. They have a similar condition in the lobby with a strip of light on it. They need at least contrasting tape to show this one.

Booked a “suite” which was really not much more than a couch in another room. Plain looking room with blank walls, lousy coffee machine, poor tv choices, and No AC! Would have been okay with windows open, but the area is extremely noisy with traffic, bars, patios, people yelling-even at midnight! No bellman, no ramps for bags, no soda machine, and not worth the price.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Blauer Bock. It was really convenient to walk everywhere, shopping, restaurants, the outdoor market, and sights. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely hotel. The front desk staff was very welcoming, breakfast was included and there was a lot of variety and local options. Omelettes made to order were outstanding! The room was a single very smartly decorated with everything you needed. Just be aware in the hot days of summer you only have a fan (no a/c) to cool the room due to the age of the building. All in all it’s a charming hotel and the location is perfect to walk around and explore from.

This property is extremely dated. It does not have AC and was very expensive for what I paid. I felt like I was in a student dorm. The staff are lovely and friendly. Breakfast was included and had a decent variety to choose from. The breakfast staff were very busy and it was hard to get their attention for coffee or cooked breakfast. The location of the hotel is great as it is only about an 8 min walk to Maienplats. Probably would not stay here again though which is a shame as the location is brilliant.

Very nice hotel within walking distance of most of the sites in Old Town. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Shower door needed adjustment to prevent water from running into the toilet area. Breakfast was good with a decent variety of typical European breakfast items (eggs to order also).
