The hotel was very nice, with plenty of choice when it comes to dining, relaxing and activities. Menu options in Flow Kitchen (Half Board Buffet-style) were extensive and food quality was great. There was a really good option to dine-around in other restaurants, some with surcharge, but not all. Fairmont is well-located, it's within short walking distance of a small mall and just a little further on is the larger Nakheel mall. As with many Palm hotels, the beach isn’t great and the water is a little stagnant. But, there are plenty of pool options to choose from. Staff in rhe Gold Lounge are worthy of special mention, and staff throughout the hotel were friendly, talkative and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

The Fairmont is one of the older hotels on the Palm but it has kept up with the newer properties by constantly freshening up the interior and exterior of the building and adding various new Restaurants. The kids and adult pools and both a very good size and quite a distance from each other so you can enjoy a peaceful time by the pool if you are not travelling with children. The service is great. The staff are polite and friendly. Our sea view room was spacious with a fabulous balcony. Great beach which has been extended into the sea since the last time I stayed here to make way for various new beach clubs and restaurants which are all very lively and upscale. Great buffet breakfast with lots of choice as well as the dinner buffet. 6 more restaurants to choose from as well as a very impressive cigar room. I can’t really fault anything with the Fairmont the Palm as we had a really wonderful stay

Buffet breakfast was amazing, food was great quality. Kids club was a hit and free for 2hrs daily, giving us parents some time alone to spend in the adults pool. All staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and big. Gym had a lot of equipment which was great.

Our stay was fantastic, thank you. Our one slight criticism would be that we found it very difficult to find somewhere to sit in the sun on the beach and around the pool. Practically all the sun beds had towels on them but were never occupied.

Went for our honeymoon. They did a little surprise for us. Was nice. Generally the hotel is great though. A combination of great staff and facilities. The breakfast is a must as it’s probably the best mix of everything. The staff were great. Nice gym with small sauna and steam rooms which weren’t expected! The hotel from the roadside doesn’t give it justice to how grand it is.

This hotel was perfect for our holiday with a 4 year old and 5 month old. They facilitated a room upgrade and early check in. All staff were brilliant with the children and our eldest enjoyed a session at the kids club. The buffet restaurant was amazing, easier with the children than visiting the other restaurants but the food quality was outstanding. Would definitely visit again.

Exceptional property! Located close to Nakheel Mall and well-connected to clubs, bars, restaurants, and neighboring hotels along the beach via a charming cobbled path behind the property. Complimentary buggy rides are available throughout the day. Highlights included the Indian restaurant (Miss India), the Vuvuzela Pub (small but lively), and fresh sushi - often part of the buffet. The staff were all unique, incredibly friendly, and eager to help. Not once did we encounter anyone who was rude or unprofessional. Perfect for families and young children!

Die Lage des Hotels ist echt super und das Hotel an sich ist ein echter Klassiker. Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und qualitativ gut. Das Personal ist auch immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist die Sauberkeit im Zimmer. Wir waren 10 Tage dort und der Teppich wurde in der Zeit nicht oder nicht ausreichend gesaugt. Das ist uns aufgefallen, weil unsere Kinder auf dem Boden gespielt haben.

Le Fairmont est un hôtel luxueux et calme. Nous y avons séjourné 9 nuits. Les lieux sont très propres, le personnel est très accueillant, (Yaya, Jesselyn, Marwan, Rania, Rohit et j'en passe ont tous été d'une gentillesse et d'un accueil digne d'un film dans lequel on se sent comme le personnage principal). Nous avions une suite avec Jacuzzi avec vue sur mer et la superficie de la chambre était incroyable. Tout était d'une propreté étincelante et rien ne semblait usé. Le lit était fort confortable. Le service d'entretien de la chambre était parfait. Le spa est vraiment très bien, nous y avons passé un après-midi. Les soins sont de qualité internationale et l'ambiance est parfaite. Jaya, la massothérapeute était très attentionnée et polie. Les restaurants (le buffet, l'indien et celui sur le bord de la piscine sont d'une qualité remarquable. Lors de notre départ alors que nous mangions notre dernier repas, Rania nous a offert un dessert spécial sur lequel il était inscrit "Bon voyage!"). Ceci m'a beaucoup touché. Je retournerai volontiers à cet hôtel et je le recommande chaleureusement à tous. Aucun mauvais commentaire à faire !

It’s a beautiful hotel with nice staff. There’s a great private beach which is very easily accessible. Thé hôte room itself wasn’t super clean, noticed lots of dust on soap/shampoo bottles. Body wash ran out and wasn’t replaced for two days until we asked. Some stains on the floors.

Favourite 2 evening meals were Little Miss India and Boldly Asian - Flo Kitchen was consistently good. Service slow at Seagrill. Cleanliness at hotel was excellent. Good location - accommodating staff allowed early access to room. Only disappointment was highly advertised showing of F1 race which was superseded by football games- eventually shown on small screen late with no sound.

Used to be amazing. Great holiday with jazz and easy listening around the pool. The hotel Is no longer beachfront like the images as there are high walls around the beachclubs between the hotel and sea and these clubs pump out loud loud music all day and into the night. Tired decoration. Staff amazing. Standards have fallen. Good shuttle bus to the town. Stayed 5 times, won’t stay again.

When i booked the it was supposed to be a city view which if you call the side of a building a city view. We asked to get a seaview rather than the depressing city view. We had to wait over 2 hours to get our room. And were upcharged excessivly i felt for the room. The breakfast buffet was just annoying as there was not enough staff to serve the number of people. Service around the packed pools and beaches was marginal. The music from the clubs play until 4 am one night and we could here the base in our room. Not my best vacaton.

The design evokes a middle east ambiance. Pools are conveniently separated into adult-only and family oriented. The rooms are large. The interior does need to be updated especially in the public areas/ hallways leading to the rooms as well as the bathrooms. Overall, the property is luxurious. The staff is friendly and responsive, especially on the Fairmont Gold level and in the Gold Lounge. The service staff at the pool gets special recommendations for their friendliness and service!

Is a lovely and very busy hotel, however, is very noisy at night till the early hours of the morning. At the front very loud nightclub music blaring if your room is on that side, we stayed on the other and the traffic from the motorway was really loud too and sports cars racing up and down all night. The glass doors did little to block the sound. Would I stay there again, sorry unfortunately not because of the poorly sound insulated glazing in the rooms.

However, my experience was ruined by a serious billing error and the complete lack of follow-up afterwards. Upon check-out, I was mistakenly charged twice for the room – a significant amount. Now, 16 days later, the overcharge still hasn’t been refunded, which is simply unacceptable. Even worse, I’ve sent three emails over the past week and haven’t received a single reply. For a hotel that presents itself as a luxury destination with world-class service, this kind of customer care is far below standard. It’s not the first impression, but how a hotel handles issues that truly shows its quality – and in this case, Fairmont The Palm has failed completely. The main issue we had was that the service was incredibly slow. The food was amazing but it took over 30 mins to receive what you ask. If you want a spoon you’d wait a very long time. The bedsheets had a really weird smell and that was nice. But otherwise the room was clean. The towel service was a nightmare. We had to wait hours almost every day to get a towel. There’s not enough seats for the pool or beach and even though you’re not allowed to pre book the seats. People lay their towels and book to save seats. It was poorly managed. Overall the stay was great but service quality was not what it was supposed to be. We didn’t receive the service you pay for when staying at the Fairmont. Check-in was incredibly slow. Almost an hour until we were able to talk to someone and the room was not ready even through we arrived just a little after 3pm which was when the room was supposed to be ready.

The front desk service and cleanliness of this hotel was top notch. I typically avoid buffets because of how unsanitary they usually are, but even the breakfast buffet was well kept. They did give away me and my daughter’s table as soon as we got up to make us plates. No apology, they just let us stand there with plates in hand until we found our own table. After being at the pool for 2 hours, my daughter took a break, dried off, and once she returned to the pool she placed her towel on my beach chair instead of her own. One of the poolside attendants walked over shortly after and started grabbing our swim bag and shoes to toss it on another swim chair. I got out the pool to ask what he was doing and he started YELLING at me saying there was no towel on this chair so he promised the chair to someone else. I told him that’s our chair, he kept yelling at me so loud that 2 other families stepped in, vouched we’d been there for hours, and they didn’t like how he was talking to me. The man just stormed off. This rattled my nerves so bad that I almost left the pool. One of the families asked me not to let his behavior intimidate me and to finish enjoying myself, so we stayed.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever visited. The room and facilities were immaculate. The staff are incredibly polite and accommodating. We enjoyed halfboard and were able to experience several of the on site restaurants. The teams were able to accommodate dietary requirements quite easily and there were plenty of options. Thank you to Kalorus and Edan for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable, we always felt looked after. Thank you to Rodgers for starting off our 5* experience immediately and for keeping it up throughout!

Just finished staying at the Fairmont for 5 days and absolutely loved it. Booked a sea view room and the views were just incredible. We were allowed early check in which was great as we landed in Dubai quite early and they also gave us a rollaway bed. Service was great at all times, kept restocking water for us which was a huge bonus especially with the heat. Hotel amenities were very good, swimming pools and a lovely beach right outside the hotel. You can even go for a lovely walk in the night outside which I would recommend. Also ate at Little Miss India which was lovely. Food was very good and would recommend. The gym had all the equipment we needed and there’s also a sports bar where live football is shown as well as a darts board where you can play. Can’t speak highly enough of this hotel and would come here again. Only downside is the location if most of your plans are in downtown Dubai as you would need to take an Uber or taxi quite a lot. The staff were also so kind and lovely.

Beautiful hotel. Staff very accommodating. We arrived very early and they managed to get us to our room before 9am which after a long haul flight was great. We only ate once on site at the breakfast buffet. This was ok. Only issue we had was not huge selection and many small children running around and not many staff or parent supervision to access to food etc around handling. Not sure it was worth the cost. Overall great location close to mall and all the best beach bars and restaurants. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Dubai

The people and staff are all extremely friendly. There is no stress and you can enjoy your vacation. The location of the hotel on the palm tree is easily accessible. It always took us about 20-30 minutes to get to the attractions and spots outside of rush hour. The room and the beds are comfortable and clean. The long beach promenade invites you to take a walk with a beautiful view of the skyline. There is a mall a 5 minute walk away for those who like it quieter. The breakfast was manageable and I liked the coffee for take away. I found it a pity that breakfast is not included as a service at the morning check-in and the statement that this is logical is seen differently by other hotels. I also found it a pity that some employees were no longer ready for a refill when cleaning up breakfast. On the other hand, some employees were happy to take care of the coffee quickly. Therefore the overall result is good.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide any drinks whatsover [not even tap water] at lunch or dinner, despite being on a half-board basis. You are also forbidden from bringing your own drink to lunch or dinner, even water from your room, which is supplied by the hotel. This is clearly to extort more money from guests and was quite bizzare and unwelcome to not even be allowed tap water. The large carpet/mat under the beds in the room was stained, and caused my wife's allergies to flare. There were a few stains on other room furnishings, a couple of cracks in the bathroom sink, one of the bathrobes and 2 towels had frayed. There were holes in one of the pillow cases. The room and corridor smelled nice. This was supposedly an upgraded room on the 9th floor [fairmont gold]. I was not impressed. The staff were friendly and approachable. The breakfast was average, with a decent variety of food, but the same each day with very minor changes such as beef instead of chicken sausages one day vs the other, or raspberry crossaint one day and pistachio the next. There were tiny flies/gnats around the pastries, and mosquitoes in the breakfast area, as well as 4 mosquitoes in my room. I killed a cockroach which was under the table in the outdoor seating at the seagrill restaurant. The beach was disappointing. The 'sand' was actually just millions of tiny/crushed sea shells. It is impossible to make anything with a bucket and spade on the beach. The pools and kids area were nice. 6/10

Excellent location as it was easy to travel to amenities like the Miracle Garden and Burj Kalifa. Rooms are a bit dated. Half-board options were limited but still tasted good. Charged for the same ‘free’ water in restaurants which I think is a bit of a liberty. Overall a decent but pricey hotel.

Spent 5 nights here with the breakfast option. Breakfast was good and value for money. Good amenities and the room was of good standard. Drinks are quite expensive in comparison to more upmarket establishments and on-site restaurant little miss India wasn't great in my opinion. Free Valet parking was good. Beach area was good with decent loungers. Didn’t use the pool. Overall a pleasant experience.

Les lieux sont très propres, le personnel est très accueillant, (Yaya, Jesselyn, Marwan, Rania, Rohit et j'en passe ont tous été d'une gentillesse et d'un accueil digne d'un film dans lequel on se sent comme le personnage principal). Nous avions une suite avec Jacuzzi avec vue sur mer et la superficie de la chambre était incroyable. Tout était d'une propreté étincelante et rien ne semblait usé. Le lit était fort confortable. Le service d'entretien de la chambre était parfait. Le spa est vraiment très bien, nous y avons passé un après-midi. Les soins sont de qualité internationale et l'ambiance est parfaite. Jaya, la massothérapeute était très attentionnée et polie. Les restaurants (le buffet, l'indien et celui sur le bord de la piscine sont d'une qualité remarquable. Lors de notre départ alors que nous mangions notre dernier repas, Rania nous a offert un dessert spécial sur lequel il était inscrit "Bon voyage!"). Ceci m'a beaucoup touché. Je retournerai volontiers à cet hôtel et je le recommande chaleureusement à tous. Aucun mauvais commentaire à faire !

Amazing hotel! We spent 6 nights here and had the best time. The hotel has loads of restaurants, pools and a couple of bars. Little miss India was our favourite restaurant and the poolside food was amazing. Service was 10/10. Hotel is walkable to the Golden Mile where there are shops and also walkable to the Palm Jumeriah Mall which is great. We went to the spa one day and the staff were amazing and couldn’t do more for you!

Favourite 2 evening meals were Little Miss India and Boldly Asian - Flo Kitchen was consistently good. Service slow at Seagrill. Cleanliness at hotel was excellent. Good location - accommodating staff allowed early access to room. Only disappointment was highly advertised showing of F1 race which was superseded by football games- eventually shown on small screen late with no sound.

This hotel was perfect for our holiday with a 4 year old and 5 month old. They facilitated a room upgrade and early check in. All staff were brilliant with the children and our eldest enjoyed a session at the kids club. The buffet restaurant was amazing, easier with the children than visiting the other restaurants but the food quality was outstanding. Would definitely visit again.
