The hotel was clean and we arrived at lunchtime thinking our room would not be ready until it 4 and it was ready. Only criticism is my daughter was looking forward to the train and it wasn’t running. Dinner was also a disaster. We booked for 6:45 and asked could we have the kids food as soon as it was ready so it could cool down. (3 year old and a one year old) 45 minutes later mine and my husbands mains came but the kids food didn’t come for another 15 minutes. So difficult to keep kids distracted for that long and as a family hotel this should have been better. (Kids biggest and chips and bowl of mash with gravy doesn’t take an hour) Would recommend the hotel but definitely not the dinner situation.

Little issues with the room but Shannon finally sorted it, much appreciated and will return because of her, breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone’s tastebuds, pool and sauna were fantastic, reception were lovely, I had 2 teenagers with me and they spent a lot of time in the bowling alley as it also had some games and air hockey also crazy golf for them

Lovely hotel and marketed as family friendly. However they have changed their kids club policy and the children have to be primary school age to attened when previously it was age 4. Also there are a lot of hidden cost for kids activities and its difficult to manage children of all different ages and keep everyone happy witout spending a fortune. The sensory room was not booked for the last hour of the day and when asked could we use it there was a charge of €20 as our kids didnt have additional needs. I feel there isnt the need to be charging families so much when a very premium price has been paid to stay in the hotel.we stayed last summer and found it better value its extreme this year.
