Logement agréable et bien équipé (manque juste une pôele pour cuisiner) très bonne literie et tous les transports en commun à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel. Idéal en prenant un city pass pour circuler dans toute la ville + visite gratuite guidée + petit train + ile du frioul inclus dans pass 72h ce qui est totalement payé au bout de 15 voyages bus-tram-métro ; On recommande cette solution avec arret de bus juste devant l'hôtel permettant d'arriver au vieux port en moins de 15 mn.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Added bonus was the do-it-yourself laundry service. Room a wee bit small, but nice balcony and view onto plaza. Great location for St Charles train station. Good too for walking to and from the old port area, though one nearby street a bit sketchy at night. But great stay.

Für einen Tag in Marseille schon gut. Sehr zentral, konnten die Stadt gut zu Fuß erkunden. Die Gegend eher unschön und wirkt nicht sicher. Keine Parkmöglichkeiten vom Hotel. Parkhaus in der Nähe kostet 29€. Familienapartment mit zwei Zimmern ist für 4 Personen für eine Nacht i.O, viel Platz ist nicht. Preis/Leistung total in Ordnung. Frühstückt sehr gut

La première bonne surprise a été le personnel très agréable et aux petits soins (de jour comme de nuit). Concernant la chambre, je n'ai rien à dire elle est fonctionnelle propre et confortable. Le balcon c'est vraiment un gros plus. mais surtout du 5ème étage on aperçoit la mer au loin. Pas de vis a vis. Jai adoré cet hotel et jy reviendrais. Le seul point négatif est l'absence de parking au sous-sol ou alors pourriez-vous envisager un partenariat avec un parking surveillé a proximité ?

I like the hotel itself, it's beautiful. The staff are friendly for the most part, but there are some downsides. The rooms are small but lovely...I expectee that, as I have been to Paris before. But I searched Expedia for a hotel with balconies and a gym, specifically, those were my main concerns. At check in, they told me that I shpuld have called that morning to request one, and there were no rooms available with a balcony. Secondly, the gym. The gym is a poorly lit, windowlesss closet-sized room with TWO sets of weights and a bike. I have video proof. The gym door, when closed, feels like a coffin. The manager argued with m we for not wanting to stay inside the coffin gym, and told me about other hotels that cost more, further insulting me. She offered a gym across the street for 35 euros a day. I booked that hitel because it claims to have a gym, which it does not. The breakfast is worth having. If a gym is important to you, don't go there. I would not recommend it. And the elevator holds 3 people maximum at a time.

It is a 5 minute walk from the train station. Although it was an old hotel, it was clean. The room was big and the kitchen was well furbished. The breakfast was decent. The room had AC and a balcony. The bed was very clean and super comfortable. Most of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was disgusting- overall old and not remodeled, dust on top of counter, chair and kitchen area. The dishes in the cabinet had dried bits of food, mildew and mold in bathroom, toilet seat had not been cleaned, the bathroom door didn’t even shut, and it was extremely noisy from the street noise. It was clear that they don’t care about the quality of rooms. Over priced too - stay away from this hotel.

At this time of the year, early October, they turn of the air conditioning in the hotel. They don't warn you of this when you book however. The rooms are small and very stuffy. It's also difficult to sleep with the window open because of the mid city noise. A most unpleasant experience overall performance in classic Marseille.

Very big room with essentials plus kitchen and balcony with sunset view. It was very clean but almost felt like a hospital. Easy access to train station and centre ville even if the surrounding area isn’t the nicest part of town. Good value for money overall, especially at the last minute.

The room was very small even for Europe. The climate control was turned off in October and it was quite warm so our room was stuffy and uncomfortable. We kept the window open for air and the street noise kept us from sleeping. The staff at the desk was friendly. We stayed 2 nights and there was no room service while we were there.

The room was smaller than I thought but was clean and well kept. There was a bedroom, bath, and small but complete kitchen. Good location. 10 minute walk to the train station. 20 minutes to the old port. Breakfast was good with meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts, fruit, and soft boiled eggs.

During check-in, I used the Apple Pay to settle the city tax and the charge of my pet at the counter. Then after ~45min, there was another small charge via the Apple Pay again without notifying me (like a fraud). I asked a female staff on the 2nd day (17 Sept, 21:30) and she said that this was a missing charge on the pet. It was ok for such missing but they cant settle the payment without my consent. She apologized quite rudely and said that I just repeated the situation. She said that it was common even in a supermarket to charge without the customer’s consent. I was quite shocked about this hotel which did something out of the standard practice (ie at least notifying or charge me the outstanding upon check out). Really a very low quality hotel. Better not to try this hotel.

Friendly, polite staff always ready to help. Breakfast arrangements were excellent. A variety of choice for all tastes. A very central location, 15 minutes walk from the Old Port. We had a room with a balcony, which on reflection was an excellent choice. Refreshingly cool to sit out, in the shade, at the end of a warm afternoon.

Few English speaking, luggage was held and the person had to be asked to move other luggage out of way to get to ours. Had to wait till exact time for checkin. Didnt walk far from hotel, didn’t feel comfortable.

La première bonne surprise a été le personnel très agréable et aux petits soins (de jour comme de nuit). Concernant la chambre, je n'ai rien à dire elle est fonctionnelle propre et confortable. Le balcon c'est vraiment un gros plus. mais surtout du 5ème étage on aperçoit la mer au loin. Pas de vis a vis. Jai adoré cet hotel et jy reviendrais. Le seul point négatif est l'absence de parking au sous-sol ou alors pourriez-vous envisager un partenariat avec un parking surveillé a proximité ?

It is a 5 minute walk from the train station. Although it was an old hotel, it was clean. The room was big and the kitchen was well furbished. The breakfast was decent. The room had AC and a balcony. The bed was very clean and super comfortable. Most of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Expérience absolument catastrophique. Une semaine avant mon arrivée, j'avais appelé pour m'assurer que ma chambre disposerait d'un grand lit. La personne au téléphone m'a tout simplement raccroché au nez. Après sept appels sans réponse, j'ai abandonné. Mais le pire restait à venir : en pleine nuit, après minuit, un autre client a ouvert la porte de ma chambre pendant que je dormais. La frayeur a été telle que je n'ai pas pu dormir du reste de la nuit. De plus, la fenêtre de la chambre ne fermait pas — en plein centre de la gare de Marseille, bercé par les klaxons, scooters, ambulances, cris... Une nuit horrible, angoissante, bruyante, sans aucun repos. Le matin, le personnel de nuit, loin de s'excuser ou de reconnaître la gravité de la situation, a à peine réagi, minimisant totalement l'incident. Je demande un dédommagement immédiat pour cette expérience inacceptable. Mettre en danger la sécurité de vos clients est extrêmement grave et indigne d'un établissement hôtelier. Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel. Mon séjour fut un véritable cauchemar.

Nice place, clean, spacious rooms with practically fully equipped albeit a small kitchen, everything in working order. Friendly stuff, good breakfast. The area seems to be not exactly unsafe, but a bit creepy. Dirty streets. But otherwise - very convenient location, close to the railway/bus station, metro and to the main attractions.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Added bonus was the do-it-yourself laundry service. Room a wee bit small, but nice balcony and view onto plaza. Great location for St Charles train station. Good too for walking to and from the old port area, though one nearby street a bit sketchy at night. But great stay.

The room itself was good. The hotel was in great condition, the breakfast was good, the staff were friendly... the area however was not great. Much of the area had sketchy, loud people hanging around. It was dirty, the "fresh air" stunk so badly I felt nauseous. As much as I liked the hotel, I would not go back.

Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing and unsettling. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the location was nothing like what had been described online. The surrounding area felt unsafe, and we were approached by several men outside, which left us feeling anxious and vulnerable. Hoping for reassurance, we went inside to speak with the staff, but they showed little concern and offered no meaningful assistance. Their dismissive attitude only added to our discomfort. Friendly, polite staff always ready to help. Breakfast arrangements were excellent. A variety of choice for all tastes. A very central location, 15 minutes walk from the Old Port. We had a room with a balcony, which on reflection was an excellent choice. Refreshingly cool to sit out, in the shade, at the end of a warm afternoon.

Very basic property with all-white, but large, room - no decoration of any kind. Everything works quite well and the staff is pleasant and supportive. The breakfast is very good for the price: egg boiler; lightest ever croissants, otherwise basic stuff. Best advantage is proximity to the train station. Balcony is nice, but only a tree to see.

The room was smaller than I thought but was clean and well kept. There was a bedroom, bath, and small but complete kitchen. Good location. 10 minute walk to the train station. 20 minutes to the old port. Breakfast was good with meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts, fruit, and soft boiled eggs.

I like the hotel itself, it's beautiful. The staff are friendly for the most part, but there are some downsides. The rooms are small but lovely...I expectee that, as I have been to Paris before. But I searched Expedia for a hotel with balconies and a gym, specifically, those were my main concerns. At check in, they told me that I shpuld have called that morning to request one, and there were no rooms available with a balcony. Secondly, the gym. The gym is a poorly lit, windowlesss closet-sized room with TWO sets of weights and a bike. I have video proof. The gym door, when closed, feels like a coffin. The manager argued with m we for not wanting to stay inside the coffin gym, and told me about other hotels that cost more, further insulting me. She offered a gym across the street for 35 euros a day. I booked that hitel because it claims to have a gym, which it does not. The breakfast is worth having. If a gym is important to you, don't go there. I would not recommend it. And the elevator holds 3 people maximum at a time.

The street outside was busy and noisy all night Śwęitęk kept us awake with sirens from police and things like that going off every 10 minutes.
