Wonderful! Extremely clean and lots of amenities! Master bed was very comfortable, sheets soft and high quality. Extra blankets were nice. Master bath “shower” kind of a weird set up. Could have used an extra hand towel, only saw one. Kitchen had a lot of “extras” ie:coffee pods, salt pepper, condiments in the fridge etc. My son was disappointed the pool was closed. It was 90 all weekend. I didn’t see on the listing that it closed before our arrival dates. Easy, short drive to OU to visit our kids for family weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

Myself and nine other women had an amazing weekend. The house was so appropriate for our weekend activities. The house was clean. Best part was the pool. We are taking back great memories. We will definitely consider making reservations again for next years retreat. 🙏💗☮️

We couldn't have had a better stay at this house! There was plenty of space for our whole family and it was extremely clean. The pool was lovely too! Our kids spent most of there time there. Another favorite was the front porch. We all had room to hang out and talk as we watched the sun go down. All together was a fabulous stay and we would definitely come again! P.S. Hope was very responsive and helpful!!

The home was exceptionally clean with many unlisted amenities. The beds were very comfortable, family all stated that they rested well. The grounds were very pleasant and immaculately manicured. We were looking forward to using the pool but it had been closed after we made our reservation which was the biggest disappointment. We did not have the password to enable us to access the cable and no quick way to contact the host. (We called home for assistance and the boys were able to see the OSU game.) We would definitely book the home again and would recommend the home to any family.

We had a very comfortable stay. This place had everything to keep us occupied when it was raining and the pool was so welcoming when it was not. Close enough to all different types of hiking and plenty of places to check out in different towns nearby.

Beautiful, clean & spacious! The kitchen was well stocked with every kind of pan, utensils etc you need to feel at home. 2 separate living spaces & lots of board games & outdoor games if you want to play. We loved the front porch seating & views; the private pool was clean & inviting but the pool temp was not warm enough for us - we expected that as Hope told us beforehand it is not heated except by the sun. The king bed was super comfy - we slept great & loved the large soaking tub. The tv in the BR could be a bit bigger but we had several other large tv’s in the living area’s to watch if we wanted. Hope & Jo have a beautiful, well kept place & we enjoyed our stay. They thought of everything, firewood, granola bars, a basket with some munchie's & even stuff to make s'mores! We will definitely be back!

This was our 3rd year in a row and the home, as always, was superb, the pool was perfect and warm the whole week! The welcome message and snacks are always a nice touch! We will book again!

We stayed at Hemlock Acre for our daughter's graduation. We were looking for a place that our whole family could stay. This was a very nice property, it actually seemed bigger and nicer to me than the pictures would have suggested. It has 5 good size bedrooms with a really nice master suite. It had a full size kitchen with a full size refrigerator and oven which isn't always the case. The kitchen was well appointed with many basics, such as foil, baggies and spices. The property was immaculate and easily can accomodate 6-10 people. It was also only about 15 minutes from the OU campus. We would certainly stay there again if we needed a place by OU..

We couldn't have had a better stay at this house! There was plenty of space for our whole family and it was extremely clean. The pool was lovely too! Our kids spent most of there time there. We stayed here for a family wedding and it was the perfect size for our 2 families. Everyone had their own space and were able to relax in each of the living rooms with ease. There were nice treats that my kids enjoyed, coffees, oatmeal, snacks, water. Those touches were a pleasant surprise. The location was good for OU, where the wedding was, and my kids enjoyed the view in the mornings with the cows on the hill across the road. The only negative for me would be the scented room fresheners that were in the house. They were overwhelming in the space and we had to unplug them. I don’t think the amount was needed. The space was clean and fresh on its own. We would stay here again if we ever visit the area in the future.

What a beautiful place! Extremely clean, so cute and very comfortable. Hope was amazing to work with. I would 100% recommend to anyone and will definitely book again if/when we come back to the area. Not far from all the Hocking Hills area attractions too.

We enjoyed our stay, we felt welcomed right when we walked in. I live in the country so "close to" was what I was expecting and familiar with, but some people may feel that the term "close to" might be too much driving. The kitchen had plenty of options for making most any meal you would want on a vacation. The area was quiet, but with neighbors in sight. We felt safe as four women vacationing. The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. Two TV areas with couches, but we mostly played cards and dominos...the large table was just what we needed. We had a great time and the view of the neighbors pond with the ducks was a added bonus.

Two families came down to visit their Bobcats and celebrate Homecoming at Ohio University. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had plenty of room for all of us to spend time together. Only 15 minutes from campus made this a convenient choice. Our host was responsive to questions and clear about check in and check out. Thanks for the hospitality!

Only a few minutes from OU, this space was perfect for our family of 8 attending OU graduation. Family meals were a breeze with everything we needed in the kitchen: pots, pans, plenty of dishes and silverware, and even the kitchen electrics we needed. This was our second stay and we enjoyed the home as much this time as we did last time.

Hope’s place was immaculate and homey, beds and furniture were very comfortable, lots of great amenities! Was in lovely, quiet area, and a very reasonable drive to/from OU. Thank you for all the special touches! I didn’t want to leave! Hope to stay with you again in the future!

This was our first VRBO experience and we were thoroughly impressed. Booking was clear and straight forward. Hope our hostess was super. The property was exactly as advertised and suited our needs perfectly. We would definitely recommend VRBO and Hopes property.

What a beautiful place! Extremely clean, so cute and very comfortable. Hope was amazing to work with. I would 100% recommend to anyone and will definitely book again if/when we come back to the area. Not far from all the Hocking Hills area attractions too.

This home was perfect for our extended family to come watch our girl march halftime with the Marching 110. The home was clean, spacious, comfortable and close enough to campus to allow us to enjoy casual family time around our OU student’s demanding schedule. We found everything we needed and then some. Hope’s welcoming touches made the stay perfect! We are looking forward to weekending here again in the future.

We stayed at Hemlock Acre for our daughter's graduation. We were looking for a place that our whole family could stay. This was a very nice property, it actually seemed bigger and nicer to me than the pictures would have suggested. It has 5 good size bedrooms with a really nice master suite. It had a full size kitchen with a full size refrigerator and oven which isn't always the case. The kitchen was well appointed with many basics, such as foil, baggies and spices. The property was immaculate and easily can accomodate 6-10 people. It was also only about 15 minutes from the OU campus. We would certainly stay there again if we needed a place by OU..

Wonderful! Extremely clean and lots of amenities! Master bed was very comfortable, sheets soft and high quality. Extra blankets were nice. Master bath “shower” kind of a weird set up. Could have used an extra hand towel, only saw one. Kitchen had a lot of “extras” ie:coffee pods, salt pepper, condiments in the fridge etc. My son was disappointed the pool was closed. It was 90 all weekend. I didn’t see on the listing that it closed before our arrival dates. Easy, short drive to OU to visit our kids for family weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

Two families came down to visit their Bobcats and celebrate Homecoming at Ohio University. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had plenty of room for all of us to spend time together. Only 15 minutes from campus made this a convenient choice. Our host was responsive to questions and clear about check in and check out. Thanks for the hospitality!

Only a few minutes from OU, this space was perfect for our family of 8 attending OU graduation. Family meals were a breeze with everything we needed in the kitchen: pots, pans, plenty of dishes and silverware, and even the kitchen electrics we needed. This was our second stay and we enjoyed the home as much this time as we did last time.

We had a very comfortable stay. This place had everything to keep us occupied when it was raining and the pool was so welcoming when it was not. Close enough to all different types of hiking and plenty of places to check out in different towns nearby.

Very nice place!! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There are two living rooms for folks to spread out. Beds and linens were comfortable. Plenty of parking space. The pool was clean. Nice views from the big front porch. Communication was superb. Most Hocking Hills attractions were about 30 minutes away. The only issue we had was that two of the kids got stung by sweat bees in the back yard. We will definitely consider coming back again.

If I could give this more stars for cleanliness I would! Cleanliness when I am staying away from home is a very important factor for me. The host was very informative; I did not have to have a single interaction with them due to the fact that they relayed all of the information for the stay and there were no issues. I would highly recommend this house if you needed a place to stay while visiting OU.

This home was amazing. Perfect for our families. Hope was great with communication. The house was so clean and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was very convenient to OU. We spent a lot of time on the porch talking and laughing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
