Always like to stop at a Hard Rock however this was a first time at this hotel on Madrid. Location is everything when traveling & this property"s locale is not great. It was necessary to walk miles or get transportation to the happening areas. Hotel breakfast was OK but again property not near any other eating establishments.

The previous occupant smoked in the room and all the hotel did was spray perfume to mask the smell and the cigarette smell became evident at night when the perfume smell wore off. I also found cigarette butts near and outside the window and took photos as evidence. Upon check out, the reception staff did not offer any discounts or even an apology. The plus side is that the guy at check in and the breakfast lady were very friendly and helpful.
