和室に宿泊しました。お部屋の清潔さ、造り、設備などとても良かったです。特にお風呂が気に入りました。 ラウンジも混み合うことなく落ち着いており、飲み物はそこそこ豊富でした。軽食の種類はあまりありませんでしたが、味は全体的に美味しかったです。満足できるラウンジです。 スタッフさんは質に差が激しかったように思います。日本人•外国人、ベテラン•新人関係なく、未熟な方がチラホラ。もちろん、とてもホスピタリティの良いスタッフさんもいらっしゃいました。 全体的に満足感は高く、コスパも良いと思います。快適に滞在できました。

Amazing experience at the Gajoen. We have been to Japan many times, but this one stood out. Lots of traditional Japanese culture in luxurious settings, the waterfall, the small water canal with Koi, the large suite room, the Japanese Kaiseki restaurant in a traditional building within the building, the Hundred Steps museum, the relief wall panels of Heian era scenes, a sumptuous buffet breakfast, Omotenashi service etc all lovely.

Museum hotel, loved the property. Free tour of the 5th floor and service was excellent. Only downside was the air conditioner inside the room wasn’t working properly, we had to call and to be adjusted.

Hotel Gajoen Tokyo was a 10/10 gem for our 9 day stay. The service was stellar—staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The concierge team shone, arranging private drivers from Haneda Airport, to Tokyo Disneyland, and to Yokohama’s cruise terminal. We gave the wrong Disney pickup time, but they fixed it instantly, no hassle. Our suite was spotless, with a cozy Japanese vibe and a steam sauna we all loved. Breakfast was a hit: my daughter devoured the eggs and rice, while we savored the Japanese set—fresh fish, miso, and perfect rice. The hotel’s Showa-era art and garden added magic. Stunning interiors at this hotel and first class service. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in all situations. The Hundred steps Exhibition is a must see. Easy access to Meguro station via the adjoining Arcot tower and central Tokyo Shibuya, Shinjuku etc are only a few stops away on the Yamonote line. Shinagawa station is a few stops the other way giving easy access to Shinkansen and Narita express etc. Enjoyed the executive lounge. Perfect stay for us, we loved the hotel and the location and would definitely stay here again.

A most wonderful 4 night stay at this very, very special hotel. Huge public areas, but only 60 rooms. Staff so friendly, obliging and super efficient. Our large room was kept spotless and provided absolutely everything we could possibly need. A fantastic marble bathroom with shower room, deep spa bath and even a self contained steam room! Highlight of our stay was a tour (only available to hotel guests) of the property’s very extensive facilities for traditional Japanese weddings. We visited amazing rooms full of beautiful paintings and wood carved scenes depicting old Japan. Also lots of other art and sculpture throughout the property - plus lovely indoor gardens and waterways stocked with beautiful Carp. Saying goodbye to this incredible hotel brought tears to my wife’s eyes. Location in Meguro is excellent, with Meguro station on the Yamanato Line (which encircles Tokyo) only 10 minutes walk up escalators and along a quiet side street. Also, extremely good value compared to other luxury Tokyo hotels which can easily run to £400 to £500 a night.

Excellent hotel with a very special Japanese cultural impression. Staff is extremely professional and the rooms are big and clean. It is next to the Meguro train station which makes it very easy to travel to Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. The hotel is right next to the Meguro river with cherry blossom trees throughout the location. Beautiful hotel!

We enjoyed the GAJOEN and would recommend it with caveats since it was a bit different than expected. For the price, you can find something else that feel more modern and high end. Pros - HUGE room - Great shower and stream room, plus two bathrooms and generous towels - Clean room - thoughtfulness for our honeymoon - leaving some chocolates in the room - helpful front desk staff Cons - Huge lobby that makes the entire hotel feel larger and busier than we expected. Having stayed at other "small luxury hotel" hotels, this felt quite different. Also meant a long walk to exit the hotel. - Close to the train, but requires a STEEP uphill walk, so you need to take a shuttle to the train station - Few walkable things to do nearby - need to take train to Shibuya main area for the most part - Sheets are scratchy Other - Traditional vibe - less modern than other options. Can likely find something more posh at this price point.

We stayed at Hotel Gajoen with our 5 month old baby. From arrival we were very impressed with the service, the staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room was stunning, spacious and very clean. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here for a luxurious experience in Tokyo!

아이가 장난감을 탁자 아래에 깜빡하고 놓고 왔다. 체크아웃을 하고, 짐을 맡기고 도쿄를 관광하고 약 5시간 뒤에 다시 호텔로 가서 짐을 찾았다. 분명 청소를 했을 테고, 아이 장난감을 발견했을테고, 우리가 짐을 맡겼다는 것을 다 알았을 텐데, 짐 찾을 때 아무 말이 없었다. 한국에 와서야 아이 가방에 장난감이 없음을, 호텔에 두고 왔음을 알게 되었다. 동남아 호텔도 해주는 기본.서비스를 일본 도쿄 호텔은 하지 않았다. 1박에100만원씩 받을 자격이 없는 호텔이다. 옆 방 소리도 다 들린다. 교통편도 나쁘다. 입구에서 객실 엘리베이터까지 도보로 이동하는 길이 다른 호텔에 비해 참 멀다 전체적으로 서비스가 부족하다.

Wow. This was possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. our room was large, the bed was insanely big, the steam sauna and jacuzzi bathtub were phenomenal. The breakfast and restaurant were top notch. And the hotel itself is so picturesque that you can immediately realize why everyone was getting married in it. The coi pond and indoor waterfall were over the top decadence. I wish we stayed here longer. It's not cheap but you're paying for the best of the best. Anything we wanted, we asked for it and we got it. Kudos to the staff. And the meguro neighborhood was one of our favorites.
Wow. This was possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. our room was large, the bed was insanely big, the steam sauna and jacuzzi bathtub were phenomenal. The breakfast and restaurant were top notch. And the hotel itself is so picturesque that you can immediately realize why everyone was getting married in it. The coi pond and indoor waterfall were over the top decadence. I wish we stayed here longer. It's not cheap but you're paying for the best of the best. Anything we wanted, we asked for it and we got it. Kudos to the staff. And the meguro neighborhood was one of our favorites.

Overall lovely stay at Gajoen. Property has remarkable art and aesthetic throughout. Room had nice view of the garden. Kid loved feeding the koi fish in the winding river in the hotel. Nice waterfall and garden outside a respite from the Tokyo urban experience. We liked the quiet location of Gajoen in Meguro. We were able to easily access the tourist sites throughout Tokyo and the walkable Meguro restaurants nearby. Recommend.

Absolutely outstanding and beautiful! We were greeted by the most polite, helpful and friendly staff throughout our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious dinner and breakfast buffet. Museum hotel, loved the property. Free tour of the 5th floor and service was excellent. Only downside was the air conditioner inside the room wasn’t working properly, we had to call and to be adjusted.

What a wonderful property filled with so much history. Stunning hotel. Great breakfast. Spacious room with your own sauna and jet bathtub. Great location with 5 minutes of the subway station. I’ll be staying here in my next trip to Tokyo. They even surprised us with some goodies to celebrate our honeymoon. Room service was great too. The restaurants are amazing. Top tier!

We enjoyed the GAJOEN and would recommend it with caveats since it was a bit different than expected. For the price, you can find something else that feel more modern and high end. Pros - HUGE room - Great shower and stream room, plus two bathrooms and generous towels - Clean room - thoughtfulness for our honeymoon - leaving some chocolates in the room - helpful front desk staff Cons - Huge lobby that makes the entire hotel feel larger and busier than we expected. Having stayed at other "small luxury hotel" hotels, this felt quite different. My husband and I have different sleeping hours , the lighting switch designs should be the best amongst the hotels we've been staying. Also our room has a sauna. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable 4nights stay in Gajeon Tokyo Hotel. Next time Tokyo we definitely will stay in this hotel again.

Wonderdul japanese hotel, we loved visiting the old part and its miniature exhibit. We stayed in their japanese style room, they are great for a family of 4, spacious, nice bedding and bathroom. The only issue is door heights, a bit small if you are 6ft or taller :)

아이가 장난감을 탁자 아래에 깜빡하고 놓고 왔다. 체크아웃을 하고, 짐을 맡기고 도쿄를 관광하고 약 5시간 뒤에 다시 호텔로 가서 짐을 찾았다. 분명 청소를 했을 테고, 아이 장난감을 발견했을테고, 우리가 짐을 맡겼다는 것을 다 알았을 텐데, 짐 찾을 때 아무 말이 없었다. 한국에 와서야 아이 가방에 장난감이 없음을, 호텔에 두고 왔음을 알게 되었다. 동남아 호텔도 해주는 기본.서비스를 일본 도쿄 호텔은 하지 않았다. 1박에100만원씩 받을 자격이 없는 호텔이다. 옆 방 소리도 다 들린다. 교통편도 나쁘다. 입구에서 객실 엘리베이터까지 도보로 이동하는 길이 다른 호텔에 비해 참 멀다 전체적으로 서비스가 부족하다.

We were absolutely blown away by every aspect of this hotel. The staff is always eager to go above and beyond, the food is wonderful, the hotel is stunning, and the room is amazing. We had high expectations when we arrived and we were still in awe. The attention to detail and service are unmatched. This was the best hotel experience, and I will definitely be coming back.

English-speaking front desk clerk is not very attentive. He ignore us for a while and also didn't explain well enough how free tours are working in the adjacent museum. While breakfast was fine albeit a bit expensive in their Kanade restaurant, dinner and tea service were so-so.

Stunning interiors at this hotel and first class service. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in all situations. The Hundred steps Exhibition is a must see. Easy access to Meguro station via the adjoining Arcot tower and central Tokyo Shibuya, Shinjuku etc are only a few stops away on the Yamonote line. Shinagawa station is a few stops the other way giving easy access to Shinkansen and Narita express etc. Enjoyed the executive lounge. Perfect stay for us, we loved the hotel and the location and would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I visit Japan at least once a year -- and Hotel Gajoen is our new favorite hotel. Large rooms, comfortable beds, short walk to Meguro station (subway and Yamanote line), beautiful restored historical artwork throughout the property (take the art tour during your stay), and fantastic onsite dining. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel with a very special Japanese cultural impression. Staff is extremely professional and the rooms are big and clean. It is next to the Meguro train station which makes it very easy to travel to Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. The hotel is right next to the Meguro river with cherry blossom trees throughout the location. Beautiful hotel!

This property was spectacular huge beautiful top-notch service very friendly. Staff would stay here again amazing included breakfast. The only con is I wish they spoke a little bit better English, especially the concierge and it was not walkable to central Tokyo so we had to take the taxi or subway But I would definitely stay here any day very large huge room rooms very clean

A most wonderful 4 night stay at this very, very special hotel. Huge public areas, but only 60 rooms. Staff so friendly, obliging and super efficient. Our large room was kept spotless and provided absolutely everything we could possibly need. A fantastic marble bathroom with shower room, deep spa bath and even a self contained steam room! Highlight of our stay was a tour (only available to hotel guests) of the property’s very extensive facilities for traditional Japanese weddings. We visited amazing rooms full of beautiful paintings and wood carved scenes depicting old Japan. Also lots of other art and sculpture throughout the property - plus lovely indoor gardens and waterways stocked with beautiful Carp. Saying goodbye to this incredible hotel brought tears to my wife’s eyes. Location in Meguro is excellent, with Meguro station on the Yamanato Line (which encircles Tokyo) only 10 minutes walk up escalators and along a quiet side street. Also, extremely good value compared to other luxury Tokyo hotels which can easily run to £400 to £500 a night.

They helped arrange an all vegetarian dinner at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel and it was spectacular! And our room had an unexpected view of Mt. Fuji! Was a wonderful stay. The beds, the bath, steam shower and gorgeous hotel. Only wish we had more time!

Absolutely outstanding and beautiful! We were greeted by the most polite, helpful and friendly staff throughout our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious dinner and breakfast buffet. Our room was spacious, incredibly comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely visit again!

One of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels we've every stayed at. I wish we could have stayed longer. I took so many photos of the hotel and bathrooms, it was so silly, but I was in awe of how lovely everything was. We also ate at their steak restaurant and enjoyed it, definitely recommend this hotel. We walked quite a bit in the morning, and this location is easy to get to the Art Museum, several shrines and more.

Hotel Gajoen Tokyo was a 10/10 gem for our 9 day stay. The service was stellar—staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The concierge team shone, arranging private drivers from Haneda Airport, to Tokyo Disneyland, and to Yokohama’s cruise terminal. We gave the wrong Disney pickup time, but they fixed it instantly, no hassle. Our suite was spotless, with a cozy Japanese vibe and a steam sauna we all loved. Breakfast was a hit: my daughter devoured the eggs and rice, while we savored the Japanese set—fresh fish, miso, and perfect rice. The hotel’s Showa-era art and garden added magic. Cleanliness was flawless, and the staff’s care, from quick housekeeping to thoughtful touches, made it special. It’s a place where luxury meets heart, perfect for families. We can’t wait to return!

English-speaking front desk clerk is not very attentive. He ignore us for a while and also didn't explain well enough how free tours are working in the adjacent museum. While breakfast was fine albeit a bit expensive in their Kanade restaurant, dinner and tea service were so-so.

What a wonderful property filled with so much history. Stunning hotel. Great breakfast. Spacious room with your own sauna and jet bathtub. Great location with 5 minutes of the subway station. I’ll be staying here in my next trip to Tokyo. They even surprised us with some goodies to celebrate our honeymoon. Room service was great too. The restaurants are amazing. Top tier!

This was an amazing hotel. Service and food impeccable! Beautiful suite. Beautiful grounds and artwork throughout the hotel. We had a kimono experience and the hotel did it right! We will be back.
