Bra frokost og service. Døren på badet knirket og skrek. Toalettet flusher så hardt at spruten stod ut på gulvet. Badstuen i spaen virket slitt og sliten. Noen bør ta slipemaskinen fatt på benkene og bruke litt ny badstueolje.

Beautiful property walking distance to most of the must sees in Oslo. We had a deluxe double with balcony. The balcony was small and sadly we had a view of a construction site. Maybe ask for odd number room higher up to avoid this. Turn down service was chocolate and sparkling water which was much appreciated. Breakfast was an amazing spread…. With no shortage of staff. Roof top bar not open but we did go to ground floor bar. Cozy and friendly service if just a bit slow ( 20 min to get 2 drinks) check in and check out was quick and easy. With our booking we got spa entrance for 2… which included rain shower, pool, sauna and steam room. Could not get spa treatment as all booked. If you want to use the facilities including gym you have to pay. Beds were big and super comfy. overall pleasant stay.

Tiny bathroom, no bathroom amenities in the room, wear and tear, and one of the worst breakfast. Every other hotel in Oslo has a better breakfast than The Thief. Mediocre spa. Subpar cleaning. Non existent turndown service. Lot of tings out of order like the ice machine, water station in the spa etc. Not worth the money. Go for Sommerro instead. It is superior in every detail, and cheaper.

Honestly mostly it was great.. breakfast buffet, spa. The room was broken where the air conditioning wouldnt turn on, each time i tried to make it colder the temperature would only keep going up (to 77-78 degrees), tried opening balcony door since it was cool outside but only made it hotter... called front desk a few times and they said theyd make it coooler but never saw the temperature read once, eventually an element of a fan was brought up but even that forced me to basically sleep with my head off the side of the bed to get even a wiff of the fan... fell asleep for 45 min then woke up in massive pool of sweat, just given i tend to pay up for hotels since i do value sleep didnt expect to find a room that was borderline unbearable to stay in during my quick stay in oslo (which left me drained for the daily activities). Staff is great and if you are fine sleeping in heat its actually a fine hotel

This is an outstanding hotel - in all aspects, including staff, amenities, spa, and, perhaps most importantly, location. We had a wonderful view of the Oslo harbor and a marina from our room. We were a short walk away from many restaurants, cafes, and shopping spots. At the same time, we also only a short walk to the center of Oslo and its sights. Fantastic!

Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Two things that keep it from 5 stars are (1) poor use of space in the room. What happened to Scandinavian design? It wasn’t a terribly small room, but nowhere to put anything. Useless empty space around sink, weird nightstand design. And horrible zone/time lighting scheme. Can’t individually control anything. I hate that. (2) location is bit out of the way for most tourist sites. You should get comfortable with transit or scooters your first day. Waiting for an Uber or taxi can take a long time in the neighborhood the hotel is in. We missed a walking tour our first morning because we couldn’t get an Uber or taxi despite giving ourselves a 15 minute cushion.

They have no air conditioning at all and the mattress is paper thin and horrible my back still hurts me and my knees as well only slept 2 hours. I had a reservation for 4 nights and checked out after one night. The only thing that was good was the breakfast.

This hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood a stones throw from a wonderful museum and quick walk from various restaurants. The staff was lovely and so accommodating. And the breakfast was probably the best food we ate in the entire city. And don’t forget to reserve time at the spa.

From the moment we arrived, the reception was warm and welcoming, and we were genuinely touched by the thoughtful little treats and gifts left in our room since we were celebrating our birthdays and anniversaries. A special thank you to the Guest Relations team at the hotel for making our experience so incredible. The room amenities were great, and we especially loved the breakfast. A heartfelt thanks to Marta, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a truly amazing experience. Her exceptional service, along with the entire Guest Relations team, Ida-Sofie, Thea and everyone at the front desk, made us feel so welcomed and cared for. We arrived late at night after a long day with a very quick turn around for the next leg of our journey. The young man who checked us in was so calm and professional and helpful… he even got me some hot water early in the morning to make my tea. Room was comfortable and lovely and the location was beautiful with boats just to the right outside. Great wonderful hotel!
